When you hear the way a phrase in left hand is edited, than you become aware of the format of this pianist! It is nicely shaped artistic personality, a decent fruit of a far famous eastern pianistic school. Such a misfortune for a worldwide audience that we haven't heard more performing outputs of this truly gifted artist.

The theme sounds like the overture to the magic flute

that's interesting, there's actually a reason why. Mozart and Clementi were two of the best pianist of their time, and it was known they were rivals. An emperor (whose name I can't remember) invited them to have a duel. Clementi was much more known than Mozart at that time. Clementi played this Sonata, and Mozart played afterwards. While Clementi couldn't stop praising Mozart, all Mozart did was insulting the way he played. Mozart won the duel, and that was it... Until, a few years later, Mozart composed the Magic Flute, which sounded an awful like the song Clementi played in the duel. Pretty ironic, right?
