Duke Nukem Forever - 2003 Trailer [Cover By DAR]

And here it is, the other Duke cover that I was working on! Shoutout to Raees for nominating and telling me about this song a while back!
Ah, Duke Nukem Forever... what could have been :(.
Anyhow, I had to get a little creative in order to extend the song a bit (the original was only like a minute and 17 seconds). I decided to create a little intro bit for the first 30 seconds, before busting into the main song.
I tried to follow the leads as close as I could, though I don't think I got it all completely accurate. I sort of did my own thing for the last bit of the leads as well. Then from 1:51 onward I decided to jam out and throw in a bit of Grabbag (ohhh one of these days, I swear I'll make a nice redux of it!).
Something of note that I did for this particular cover was that I chopped up the rhythm guitar tracks in certain places. Like around 1:05, I wound up slicing the clips to really accentuate those hits. Also reversed the clips for a brief moment around 1:49, and diced up the rhythm guitar tracks again for that lead up to 1:51. I'm pretty sure I've done this at least a few times in the past, but pretty sparingly though.
Anyways, man, this was such a nice and simple jam to rock out to! Hope you all enjoy the video, and hope you all look forward to the Spider-Man (2000) cover that will be up next! ~DAR

They started developing this game when I was in middle school and wouldn't finish it until I had already graduated high school, worked 2 jobs, joined and left the military and held 2 more jobs. I forget when I stopped being hyped for this but it was probably around the same time I stopped caring whether or not FFVII got a remake lol.

Awesome cover, I really liked it! Those old DNF bulds feels misterious to me, there is so much content that never made into the final game, hope those old builds get leaked eventually, like the 2001 version. Also the orchestral rendition of grabbag in the 2001 trailer is really good.

I've realized something. No matter how realistic game looks... but every single character should have characteristic walk and inperfections in movement. This makes game more believable, more than graphics do. Many people had accidents smaller or bigger in the past, some people have hurting back, some of them are tired everyday etc. Every character should have different set of these things that defines how they walk, talk etc. I really didn't saw single game that did that... and I saw thousands of games in my entire no life life :)
