REACTION TO FLOOR JANSEN - ABOUT LOVE I DON'T KNOW A THING - BESTE ZANGERS 2019 - CAN'T ASK FOR MORE

Here is my reaction to the song "I don't know a thing about love" performed by Floor Jansen (Nightwish). This is the recording from the Dutch TV Show "Beste Zangers" Season 2019.

Floor singing country. And killing it like everything she does. After the performance Ruben - in tears - told her "Floor, you make everything better". But shout-out to Ruben too, for being such an old soul, such a poet, such a storyteller, for writing such a beautiful song at such a young age.

Floor just kills it every time she is like the Swiss army knife of singing as she has a voice for every occasion and style of music. She is the most rediculously talented singer in the world. Also she can sing in any language as well it seems, it just highlights how skilled, devoted and versatile floor jansen is. I've never heard another singer /vocalist either male or female who just has you in tears and fills your soul with such joy, it's rediculous I'm a grown man and might I add someone who has been a metal head since mid eighties and doesn't usually get emotional listening to a song. Miss Jansen you are a gift to us all, I just wish you could know just how much wonderful joy you bring to our lives...

Ze zijn bezig met extra voorstellingen te regelen dus houd het in de gaten. Het liedje is origineel in het Nederlands geschreven en Floor heeft het met hulp van haar zus Irene vertaald naar het Engels. Zijn reactie direct na dat het liedje was "Hoe is het mogelijk dat elke cover die jij doet beter klinkt dan het origineel?". Ja Ruben was de hele show zwaar on de indruk van haar.

She also wrote the lyrics and composed with guitarist Jørn Viggo Lofstad the songs for Northward. This is not live, but worth checking it : NORTHWARD - While Love Died (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) th-cam.com/video/bAiPeSsqD-4/w-d-xo.html (she said Northward was just a side project and they were never supposed to go on tour or perform live, maybe on her solo shows she'll sing something from this album?) Sorry, I think this is awesome too, still looking for a band song from Floor :)
The closest thing to a "disappointing" (IMHO) one is this: "Timo Tolkki's Avalon (w/ Floor Jansen) - Design the Century" It's not bad, but not specially great either, even if Floor is singing. Just my taste. th-cam.com/video/6VO49X_Ie4A/w-d-xo.html

You'll really have to search for a "not so good" performance by Floor. And mostly it will depend on personal taste, like Gethsemane live Bloodstock 2018 (my opinion, but The devil and the deep dark ocean is mindblowing) or bad sound quality. Some ReVamp live stuff I heard I'm not that amazed for example. But I can't say, if it's really because she "failed" there or if some important frequencies just disappeared. A bad mix can create terrible things, especially with the vocals.

I am not a believer and it really sounds like a cliché, but if there is a God, then at Floor Jansen he gave everything he could give a person in terms of talent. But we also know that there is no just God, because with this talent she should actually be the most successful singer under the sun. Instead, Madonna, Carrey, and all the other pop divas are raised to pop Olympus. Floor puts them all in the bag, both from singing and in interpersonal relationships. It is so sad.
