Well done for sharing the combine story of the fire. TH-cam and farmers always put the good side out ie tell you nothing ever goes wrong. There's a yard full of burnt-out combines in wexFord, so your not the only one it happened to.
Blimey loading that combine was a nightmare, was a tense moment when it rolled back off the trailer. Was lovely to see your mum in the video. Well done for having a crack at the fit farmer challenge thing.
Nice to see our favourite farmer 👨🌾 we love to see your farming family keeps us going in these lockdowns. And winter nights. All for now .🦠🌈🌈🌈🌈🌇🌇🌃🌃🌃🌃🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Very interesting video 2 Phil's. Glad no one was standing behind the combine when she rolled off the trailer. Glad you boys got her strapped on and got the rest of your scrap gathered up. Its surprising how much is laying around when you start a clean up. Great to hear about the combine and its history. It came from Scotland just like me lol
@@seangallagher9952 it's great stuff, reminds me of the old milk before they started over processing selling low fat and all the co-ops became one! Try telling people milk doesnt come out of a cow @3.5%
Ah here Phil, you can't call that an attempt at the farm fitness challenge. 😂 You'll find something easier to hold onto and give it a good rattle ,no bother to you 💪
Great to see the village dairy milk makin its way around the country 👍🏻 carlow well represented today with the two armer salmons aswell albeit in absolute bits 😂
Well the Phil's , the farm shop is a good idea to get a wee bit more from the hard work use put in the beef ! Cut out the greedy middle man ! Really hope it goes well ! Big shout to father Phil the legend !!! Yeeoop 👍👍👍👍👍
Nice one Phil. No job too big or too small for team Phil. Fair play to father Phil, he'd go back from nothing. Ye'r at the top of yer game now, ye made it into the farmers journal. Ye will probably be taking part in "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here" next. Or maybe "Ireland's fittest family"😂 Keep on keeping on
Great vid phil, should have introduced your Mam, hope you did a video on that loft or have i missed it. Think your three bale challenge time was beaten also...
@@cillianh5841 i haven't finished it yet, about 10mins into it, but just in case this is a new challenge where they open 1 bale of hay silage or straw in the fastest time
Should've backed the trailer closer to the combine before dropping the ramps and attempting to load. Should've blocked it up, it was moving backwards when you were pushing it over to be more even on the trailer. Why didn't you just jack up the combine and remove the wheels you want to keep, then just lower it back down on the trailer. The salvage yard will have a machine to just pick it up and off the trailer. Just curious. Cheers :)
Phill, if you ever find you self doing a job like that again, it might be an idea to ring(phone call) your Dad in the cab. It works for my brothers doing jobs like that
Such a shame about the combine was a right yoke, it happens. My contractor has a claas quadrant baler must have done a million bales by now but the yoke must have burnt out 3 times over the years she's a old dog but still going strong.
Are bale trailer is just like that. more holes the wood that’s not me being sarcastic I think there only two pieces of wood that actually go to the top of the trailer to the bottom with any big holes
Always great to get unwanted stuff clear away. Good job 👍
Laughs of phils mother when he said look busy 😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Great video . Storytime was very funny . God bless TH-cam !
Should always have a slurry tanker full a water wherever the combine is cutting

Or a front loader bucket full of sand, water tends to spread the fire

You should watch on the pull by farmflix
Great video Phil but Would you not have took all the glass out of the cab and lights off etc you might be sorry for letting some of those things away
Chances are the glass would break when trying to get it out, lights are probably rotten if shes sitting there a long time
Someone smashed all the lights on the combine not long after it burned
A shop in my town burnt down. So in the next shop had a huge sprinkler system. What could be do in a machine to put up a fight against fire ?
Me and my grandad passed u in a lorry in Longford in Edgeworth Town I didn't kniw it was you
My first car was also a Saxo ha ha
Great video phil, is that another tractor abandoned in the field as you and father are walking back before your dinner?
Hon Cavan
So that combine is a old one not the one you have now
What combine will you buy next just watched your new Vidio today kerp it up
Re the Saxo, did you have to have the logbook for it? Did you have to have the inside stripped out or oil drained or any of that craic?
Thanks phil
stick a temorary engine and back wheels, remove the glass and go do some combine demo derby
Is that a new red trailer in the yard??
Did you buy that braughan bale trailer
Do the farmer fitness challenge with bro
Did u keep any of the wheels off the beet harvester Phil
Why did u take the mud Guards off the tractor front wheels it looks so much better with them on
They haven’t the bracket that holds that one broke and they haven’t got round to fixing it
