If it is Peru then some suggestions are: In Pisac make sure to visit the stunning Inca ruins overlooking the town. Take a taxi up to the top entrance and walk back down through the ruins to the town. Most tourists only visit the upper section and so once past that you will be nearly alone. Get a map of the ruins from the Pisac information office beforehand, so as not to miss the Inca tunnels. Don't take the train all the way back to Cusco after visiting Machu Picchu. Its s long journey and the train station is miles out of the city. This puts you are the mercy of taxi drivers. Take the train only as far back as Ollantaytambo and an take a colectivo (share taxi) from there back to Cusco, either that same day or the next day. At Machu Picchu, if you don't suffer from vertigo try and do the stairs of death up to the top of Huayna Picchu. In Arequipa try and pay your respects to the preserved remains of teenage Juanita who was sacrificed over 550 years on a nearby mountain and mummified by the aridity and cold. Try a Pisco Sour. Don't fly direct into Cusco. Take it slow overland to reduce the risk of attitude sickness. If possible explore the Sacred Valley which is at a lower attitude before going to Cusco, or go direct upon arrival in Cusco down to the Sacred Valley.
Just a quick comment to say, post anything you like! Came for the travel, but stayed for Robyn & Graham. Love your positivity and enthusiasm. Thanks!
