- Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies Liberty Falls off...
People are not impressed with the zombies mode in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 game. The new zombies map "doesn't feel zombies at all" and instead "looks like a multiplayer map with no identity." The zombies mode in Black Ops 6 may have strayed too far from the traditional zombies experience that fans have come to expect, and instead feels more like a standard multiplayer map or the Warzone battle royale mode.
Players are disappointed by this change, with one user simply stating "Shame" in response to the perceived lack of a distinct zombies identity in the new map. This implies that longtime fans of the zombies mode in the Call of Duty series were hoping for a more authentic and immersive zombies experience in Black Ops 6, rather than something that feels more like a generic multiplayer or Warzone map.
At least some players are concerned that the zombies mode in Black Ops 6 may have lost its unique identity and atmosphere, and instead feels more like a generic multiplayer or battle royale experience. A good way to remedy the Armour Vs Shield debate is to just simply have both, give us the choice between having a Shield Vs having Armour. Armour Plates could still theoretically repair a shield via welding it onto the current shield and it would be another great way to add player preference into the game. I personally prefer the Shield over Armour because it was fun and even encouraged to mix in a few hits to your character with a few to your shield as a way to both keep your health and the shield's health up as much as possible. Now it just kinda feels like you need more armour every five seconds due to how much you get hit with little wiggle room.
Fair feedback, I don’t necessarily agree with adding both because I feel like it would over complicate things but I do feel like the solution to armour is returning to a 2-hit down and using armour for additional hits
@@almightycx They could make it so the player could either have the wallbuys be a Shield or Armour Vests. It's simple but affective in my opinion. Also I can see your point about returning to the two hit down system but after how many games have strayed from that system, I don't think that the community would really have the same view. Especially due to how it is right now with the whole 'It's all Cold War 2.0' or 'It's just Warzone with Zombies'.

You avoided the point about the map layout. The map is literally a multiplayer map ported over for zombies… Big wide open spaces make the game easier and therefore we have less insensitive to play. In all honesty, zombies players have been shafted each year since the release of bo4 so when people are surprised that we’re annoyed it genuinely baffles me. What fucked zombies for me is the points system, that’s always been my biggest gripe, but all these other changes haven’t helped either
I’m one of the people that prefers the current system to the prior, even as an OG and that’s because I’m well aware of how confusing it was to new players. I don’t dislike the old system or anything I just don’t care about it enough to kick up a fuss, I’m just glad more people than ever get to enjoy this great series. As for the layout, I’m pretty sure this was built first and foremost as a zombies map and probably decided to move that one section of it to MP after they realised how usable the play space is. I personally have no gripes with the layout aside from wishing there was more debris making navigating areas tighter. Thanks for the feedback tho

Idk I like armour. I do think to compensate zombies need to do more damage though. Maybe bring back 2-hit down without plates

I understand that they made Liberty Falls for the casual player and designed it in a way that people can grind camos and levels however they could've added a atmosphere to LF to make you feel like you are still apart of the Zombies universe.

I think it would've been better if Liberty Falls wasn't shown AT ALL. The best thing they could've done was left the only footage of the map until launch be the tease at the end of the Terminus gameplay reveal.

Dude let me explain it to you. Black ops has had 5 games now. The last 2 entries, black ops 4 & black ops Cold War have strayed further and further from what zombies players want. We’re calling this a modern warfare reskin because for the first time ever.. a Black Ops title is sharing an engine with Warzone and Modern warfare. We let it slide with vanguard and modern warfare 2&3. After being patient for so long we wanted our beloved zombies back. But they won’t give it to us. They took our cartoony art style from us and made everything more “modern” and we just don’t want it. End of Story.

I'm not saying you're 100% right but you're definitely are spot on with the atmosphere. we learned it was a town that was pretty ordinary, and out of no where had an outbreak. the radio I remember had the kids evacuating out from their school, and the intro cutscene we got has the outbreak start in the middle of it.

This COD Next event shows the perfect reason to why Game Developers don't like showcasing early builds of games; it's becuz people don't tend to realize that things change during development. There's still around two months for release. And this is when they'll change up the UI and polish them up for the final release. BO3 stans judging the whole game off of just 30+ minutes of gameplay slapped together with live commentary and horrible audio is the most infuriating thing imo.

Honestly I would not have minded if liberty falls had a celebrity cast to give it some life, but because we are seeing it without the Easter eggs and side eggs on, it’s unfair to say that I think it’s lifeless.
But I hope we see the map dynamically or visually change as we progress in the Easter egg.
But god I’d have loved a celebrity cast for this map.

Let’s be real… no matter what Treyarch did, I imagine the BO3 babies would’ve thrown a tantrum regardless. Make mechanics as close as possible to BO3 and they’re gonna cry that it’s just rEcyClEd cOnTenT. Now that they’ve went in a different direction and reiterated on it, they’re now crying that it’s *not* BO3… also somehow also it’s still ReCYcLeD CoNtENt lol.

I like this take since I agree that most of the criticism is just "old good new bad" and its refreshing to see it broken down into actual criticism. And I agree with your opinions since I think that just wanting BO3 again is useless especially since we don't have anybody like Blundell making the story or anything.

The HUD is the biggest problem and reason for all the hate IMO. People don’t realize how much it affects what you’re playing and your feelings about it. It’s always on the screen, so you’re always seeing it no matter what. If the HUD is bland, it affects the maps and makes them more bland - which is especially bad if your map isn’t to thematic to begin with. It also didn’t help the first impressions, since any quick glance at a static screenshot of zombies will make you think of Warzone cause of the Warzone HUD

I mean, you can absolutely enjoy still enjoy the game and look forward to. But I really disagree with you on a lot of things. Like, I don’t necessarily mind the idea of using something like scorestreaks. I just wish they had made it fit more into the aesthetic and vibe of the mode/map.
Kinda like with the mutant injection in this game or the spider Easter egg from BO3. Other stuff fits naturally without any alteration, like a minigun or a flamethrower.
I want to enjoy this game, but I see a lot of people defending this map in a way that makes you feel like you’re not allowed to critique the game.
You’re 100% allowed to critique the game and I encourage it because it’s the only way the developers will be able to make changes. There’s just a difference between blind hate and constructive criticism which a lot of the people in the community do not understand. The streaks personally don’t bother me but I get what you mean. Like they re-themed the RC-XD to an atherium unit I can’t remember the name for, it’d be nice if they did more like that but idk how much they realistically can do
The game we saw at the reveal stream is the final product, it is getting released in a month
Game's released in give or take 2 months, there's time for changes like the HUD or Sky box. Die Maschine's HUD and dark aether sky were completely different in the internal alphas around 3 months before launch that leaked.

Yeah I feel like many fans are just kind of jumping the shark on this because of how poorly received Liberty Falls has been. Which I get the hate towards that map, but how does that equate to the rest of the mode and maps like Terminus?
I get disliking the new direction Treyarch has been taking zombies since Cold War, but to say the whole mode is terrible just because of a 2nd launch map not looking good just doesn’t make sense to me. I wanna give this map and Terminus the time to breath. We haven’t seen the Easter Eggs yet and that could change an entire outlook of a map I feel.
That being said, I think Liberty Falls looks fun in terms of casual survival play. I understand it was not marketed as that, but we have had these kind of maps before in the past. Comparing maps like that to Liberty Falls I think this is just fine.

Armor system shouldn't be in zombies. Especially when they said it was gonna be kinda like the classic zombies. Going from a 2 hit down in Bo1 to like 14 to get down is crazy. They are making zombies more like warzone to get more people to play zombies, so they blend in all three game modes to get higher player count in each mode and appeal to a broaer audience. Doing this shoots down the zombies community. Zombies are supposed to be completely different in terms of gameplay than the other modes. But then again, we shall see what happens.
I strongly disagree with the armor statement, as someone who grew up throughout the black ops series I see it as a natural evolution but that's okay because disagreeing just shows that there's changes you'd like to see made. I'm okay with it either way but whatever the community at large wants should be what we get
@@almightycx in what way is the removal zombies shield with the replacement of armor, a “natural evolution”? The zombies shield was brought in due to a common complaint of dying to zombies that you can’t see. Black ops 3 and 4 further innovated on this by giving the shield more practical uses beyond protection. And with Cold War this was completely removed. The game did not have enough time in development and a result of this was cutting corners such as removing the shield. As it stands armor functions as an extension of your health bar.
Which in all fairness is good. I think everyone enjoys being tanky in zombies. The problem is that juggernog already functions towards this. Why do we need another avenue to increase our health bar?
My gripe with the armor system is that it tries to solve an issue an existing perk already solves. And since it replaces the shield, it stripes away an entire system that had been established and improved for 3 separate entries.
@almightycx I understand that there is evolution that happens to all game franchises, but in all reality, it is new vs. old style zombies players. Old players want the old version, which is, in this case, harder and more gritty compared to the easier, more vibrant part of newer zombies. Whether they go back to the roots for one COD game in the future or continue with a new "innovative" version, I hope it will be better for the community as a whole. I feel like if they continue to go too risky with certain things, it will result in downfall. Like Marvel movies. Terminus looks promising, so hopefully, we won't be let down
@@almightycxit's not an evolution. The armor and shield are different things, they just change one over the other.
I’ve seen people suggest changing the skybox to nighttime, and I think that would help a lot. But I’d rather see it be golden hour instead of it being currently being overcast.
As much as I’d like that that’d mean they’d also have to shift the time of Terminus as they’re supposed to be occurring simultaneously.
I think it is an interesting idea to have two factions from what it looks like in zombies, going head to head. Like imagine grief 2.0! an 8 player map with the two factions fighting eachother like grief. But I doubt they will add a mode like that into this game. wishful thinking.

They really gotta fix it. definitely the HUD at first. I’d love to make more zombies content, I’m actually one of the more knowledgeable people surrounding the Dark Aether lore because of how obsessed I used to be with trying to 100% Cold War’s intel. I wish I could primarily make content like this but unfortunately it doesn’t do super well for me views wise compared to the internet-culture-assessment videos I’ve been making. If I get a bit more exposure from this I’ll probably make more but right now this is just looking like maybe a bit of side content I’ll make whenever there’s nothing fun to cover. I have never care about the story of zombies but I disagree with almost everything you said. The new zombies is not for me I hate almost everything they did to the game mode I like innovation but if you turn a nich game into a game for everyone then the og who really liked the nich experience are not going to like it and thast fine and no one have to hate on us like many people I see saying "tHen gO pLaY bO3" we could make the same argument for you and say "tHen gO pLaY wArZone" I personally wont buy the game I never liked multiplayer I just use to buy cod for zombies because it was the best endless zombies I have ever played and still is on the older cods.
I just want to see a new version of zombies like it use to be with new crazy maps like we use to have and new systems because I do like the innovation as long as the core experience is there like for example TranZit added a buss, die rise added verticality, orginins added robots and staff, buried added a gun that let you hover over barriers and leroy. Also all of those maps added new enemies so the best thing that could happen to zombies is a standalone game that the target audience is the people who like that nich and constant updates to that game instead of making a new one every year. New maps, new mechanics, new bosses and enemies without going away from what made all of us like the game.

I respectfully disagree. People aren’t hating because it’s just new. They are criticizing the game, because they want it to be better.
BO3 isn’t going away anytime soon as there will always be people who prefer it and that’s perfectly fine. Criticism is completely fine too because it’s the only way people will see change if they don’t like the state of the game. However, the hate I’ve seen is unacceptable. It doesn’t help the game get better, it just puts the developers down.

It's only an over reaction when you look at it Outside the context of the fuckery that old zombies fans have been subjected to. Blops 4 tried a bait and switch to a Chaos storyline instead of doing a proper ending for the Ether storyline, Cold War was mediocre and chock full of recycled assets. MWZ was a dumpster fire too. Just a lazy DMZ reskin with zombies sprinkled in. And now, despite advertising that they aren't recycling maps... Activision thought they could slip one by us by "re-using" the liberty falls map in MP. AND YET, despite that "efficiency" the zombies map has no soul added. There's no environmental details added. No messages on the walls in blood and chalk, no dead townsfolk on the ground, Nothing.
Bo6 is going to be more mediocrity. Cod hasn't justified it's box price in years
@cjsayers3346 zombies was founded on reused assets, if they marketed Liberty Falls as a bonus launch map no one would be complaining this much
@@anreisto777 liberty balls is filler. Obviously so. It was crafted with minimal effort in order to give market a nice number of maps to run with. Quality was a secondary concern, I guarantee it.
Teminus looks much better than die macshine so i happily take liberty falls as a bonus map. I do hope liberty falls does not become the new standard for bo6 zombie maps tho

I think there's gotta be a balance between BO4's random insanity steps and Cold War's walkthroughs but yeah, HUD needs changing up 100%
That theory on the HUD changing on release due to not being ready, something else to support this is that during COD Next, streamers were allowed to customise the HUD in multiplayer, but NOT in zombies, streamers asked if they could and they said no. So Treyarch didnt want to draw attention to it

Jokes aside, I pretty much agree with everything. I do think there could be a story reason for why the town could be zombified. For instance, the experiments done in project janus caused the dimensional breach to be much more severe than others and it caused the dark aether to consume to town.
I think the reason why a lot of people aren't treating it as a side map is because I'm pretty sure that it was only leakers that said that LF is a side map, whereas Treyarch is saying it's on the same level as Terminus.
Overall, still excited for bo6 but the gameplay didn't do much to increase my excitement.

We're getting 3 maps in 2024 for BO6. Map 3 will be in 2024 (season 1). Treyarch has spent 4 years making something that will be good but because there's just a few problems it's being torn the absolute hell apart.
How hype is it that we're going to have THREE MAPS before the year is done! They've given zombies so much love this time around and because the bonus map is set where it is, as it is, people are hating. Sad really. I hope launch goes well!

Its quite funny as ive been a zombies player since WAW and my take on Liberty Falls has been. The map is a simple town thats gone under an outbreak. I like the simplicity of the town but i also like the idea that theres more to this town as we would discover why this town specifically underwent an outbreak. I think the atmosphere would be more perfect if there was more destruction.
As for the arguments on the map having no content or stuff to do other than survive... The mode was built from that core idea. And its pretty obvious that all the side things are disabled.
Advertisement and showcasing this map was the biggest downfall for the reputation. They could have done SO MUCH BETTER but complaining about the things we have already. A bit too far.
Its right to complain and give our critiques when we see something is off or bad, but at least make it constructive fans.

@almightycx Nice. Honestly, I'm just happy to see that will be a simple survival map potentially returning. If its done right with the mechanics of BO6. There's a huge recipe for success on these style of maps.
Hopefully one day we also get to see the return of mod tools. BO6 Custom zombies maps with the omni direction stuff, perk upgrades and other features could be very cool 😎

Thing I personally dislike, is the fact you're not starting at 0 anymore. I'm not too familiar with how the game actually is, but I dislike how you can start with a Rifle or another type of weapon, id personally prefer if we start with nothing like a pistol and work our way up.
The thing with this is that whatever weapon you start with now is pretty much as weak as a pistol. It’s not like you’re able to spawn on with a rifle that’ll kill anything efficiently beyond round 3-4. The gameplay system changes they’ve made since Cold War mean that wall buys have purpose once again and so does the box. You still have to work your way up, you just have a lot more freedom as to where you begin, which I thinks good. Also, fun fact but the Mustang and Sally’s are back in this game!

Honestly my boggest problem with all this is honestly, i just dont care. Like i still love call of duty but to me this is still COD. To me there has always been a distonct diffrence in the two , call of duty has soul , COD. Is often slop woth hints of good. Lik a perfect example of COD is , i think( might be wrong game) infinte warfare zombies. The ideas of rave in the red woods and all those maps had Mad soul , but at the same time i absolutely did not care for any of the other stuff like campaing and multiplayer.
Like to me the last call of duty was black ops one , arguments could be made for black ops 2 and 3 though.
Back to zombies specifially , the story has hinestly been lame as hell since black ops 3 , im not even a fanboy of what black ops 3 did with the direction and stuff . To me it feels like their combining to much tstuff together woth all modes having "lore and stuff". Like go back to each being independent stories with theories of crossover not actual crossover between them . But fr the only thing i like about the modern story of zombies is where Richthofen is. Would have been better if he was elading the cia or somwthing to give it more government conspiracy, but ill take it where it is.
But ill give it some praise , atleast were back to round based , do like the chance of saving aurviors , seems like a cool concept.

storyline should not be used as excuse to make a bad looking map. Armor system imo ruins the game and i truly miss the zombie shield which was a staple of zombies. Terminus itself doesnt look good either. And the argument well if you dont like it dont use it just isnt a good point, the majority of players id say 2/3rds do not want this cold war type zombies however if you like this have fun playing it but theres a reason theres so much uproar, its because most of the community does not want this and treyarch just doesnt get it people pay upwards of $70 for these games and they deserve to get what the majority of players want. TLDR: the majority of people do not want this zombies, have fun playing it if you like it but theres a reason that zombies hasnt been praised since b03 and somewhat b04.
Idk if I agree at all that the majority don’t want it when Cold War did exceptionally well and had the most players on record. I’d agree a very vocal portion of the community wants to return to a simpler format though and if that’s what people want then they should vote with their wallets

Yes the hud is bland, no one likes operators and cw proved that, the map feels/looks warzoney, and while I dont mind armor too heavily I will say the shields always fit the zombies gameplay WAYYYYY more than armor ever could. Buildable tables were amazing since they're abundant on maps allowing you to place the shield in different spots for strats. I really do miss the shield for collecting parts while moving through the map but ive talked too much on that already lol.
While I do see the point that it is a map about this town undergoing a sudden outbreak, I cant bring myself to say that, that makes it fine. Its VERY open in its areas making it feel that way but fans have shown their dissatisfaction with tight corridors too so finding a middle ground should be prioritized, as it stands now though its just too open.
Yeah you are right it is a side map but nothing of the Marketing has explicitly said this or at least I dont think they have? I do know that they have been pushing to put it on the same footing as Terminus though which raises everyones expectations DRASTICALLY for what it should be. I think Milos video talked about this point very well and I suggest watching that.
My idea is that they're hiding something for shock value when it actually drops WHICH I VERY MUCH HOPE IS TRUE but maybe im cope, either way good video!

The BO3 meatriding is sooo annoying, like my brother in Christ, you either innovate or die. COD zombies is trying to get new people into playing, so it makes sense if it's dumb down a bit. The COD NEXT event is doing Liberty Falls dirty imo, the main easter egg was disabled, the side easter eggs were disabled, the underground section that supposedly exists was not accessible. We just have to see, because if Activision EVER took the community serious then they would make Treyarch changed/removed soooo much shit that people like now/from back then
They didn’t innovate from BO3 , they downgraded and dumbed it down. They wanted to make their game more mainstream by removing a lot of the gameplay mechanics and map uniqueness that made zombies good in the first place. I’m going back to BO3 . If you want a good example of a game that didn’t sacrifice it’s franchises uniqueness to please the average Joe , just look at Elden ring or devil may cry 5

It’s THEIR story, they had FOUR YEARS to come up with something. Why are you just accepting this? Given the money these games cost, don’t we deserve better?
See this is a valid complaint but the problem is you’re offering no solution. What personally would you like to see different? The developers cannot make changes if the community offers nothing to work with!
@@almightycx I mean, I’ll give you my personal wants for what little it counts (which will make for some dreary reading so I’ll try and keep it as fresh as I can) but, with respect, I don’t see how it’s the community’s job to conceptualise maps for Treyarch & Activision. For example, I can’t imagine Blundell created Shadows of Evil because the community were waving their Cthulhu-printed picket signs. And given how Treyarch nailed player immersion through thematic map design, atmospheric lighting & sfx in maps made as far back as SIXTEEN years ago, I don’t think it’s a bold assumption that Liberty Falls simply SHOULD look/sound like a genuine zombies experience-like those of old, even while evolving (which I’m not opposed to). There is simply no excuse for regression in 2024. The wealth this IP accumulates today is staggering. So please don’t excuse their corner cutting.
Anyways, once again, I understand LF, according to the story, is in the immediate throes of an outbreak. Comparatively, Voyage of Despair is all about a very sudden zombie outbreak on the Titanic. A ship vs an entire town. Identical scenarios. Look at how one was adapted into your traditional ‘zombie’s experience’ compared to the other.
All this is just to say that it isn’t down to the community to tell the powers that be what makes zombies, zombies. They should know. In fact, they do know. It’s just that their priorities have very evidently shifted towards the (shudders) *Warzone aesthetic* . Warzone is like a modern house, white walls and grey sofas. Falling asleep just thinking about it. Just look at our HUD this year (I know you can alter it). Creatively bankrupt in every sense.
Anyways, if Treyarch need my help making Liberty Falls look cooler than your standard outbreak village like you say, here’s what I’d advise:
- GIVE THE MAP A PERSONALITY. No, I’m not talking about slapping on a trippy skybox and sprinkling random purple crystals everywhere (please enough with the Stranger Thingsified Dark Aether). Maps used to be the fifth character. Good gracious, we’re blessed nowadays to get a given four. There used to be a time where a map, just by its visuals, told more story than any dialogue from any radio or playable character. Think Kino/Five/Der Riese/basically any map (pre CW) that utilised map-specific assets/enemies/locations to tell its story; that used colour pallets/lighting/map-specific HUDs & sfx (think Mob/Buried/Shadows) to convey a mood. If you want some tips, Liberty Falls will have us interacting with the ghosts of its residents. So, make the town haunted! Make that the theme. Make it feel like a big town-sized haunted house. Rig assets to suspiciously move-maybe a mannequin, maybe a cardboard cutout. Make the bowling alley a “haunted bowling alley”. Give us the most sterotypical haunted house on the corner of the street. Make it explorable. Have lights switch on/off. Have radios suddenly blare/change stations. Again, invest heavily in lighting/thematic sounds & HUDs/map-specific assets & enemies to do this. Easy to do, you literally make billions of dollars & we’re paying $80 for this game & you used to do it so it’s not like you can’t. But, for the love of all that is good, do something! Don’t just make a *TOWN* and say “uhhh I mean it’s not gonna look very atmospheric or interesting because an outbreak just happened & it would be unrealistic if it suddenly looked like a hell-scape.” Genuinely nobody cares!!! It’s a game!!! None of this is real!!! (Quickly interjecting here to specify that Activision are using that as an excuse for their own sheer laziness, everyone that agrees with it is pardoning their laziness)(also very important to note that the good developers are simply doing what they’re told. This isn’t their fault.) Lastly, if there was more to see in LF, we would have been very explicitly told during or after the showcase. So let’s not pretend whe havent seen everything the map has to offer (EE’s & maybe a boss arena aside).
-KEEP ZOMBIES, ZOMBIES. I am not sitting here crying my eyes out that this isn’t Black Ops III 2. Zombies has evolved. It evolved from WAW to BO1, BO1 to BO2 etc. Sometimes it hit, sometimes it missed. But it was always zombies at the very crust. Everything since Cold War has been (shudders) *Warzoneified* . This mode is becoming less & less zombies & more & more Warzone with every iteration. I am on my hands and knees praying that Terminus is the blueprint. If so, then I’ve written this novel in vain. It certainly has potential. But it still looks like Warzone/multiplayer. Just eerier. However, the HUD, the openness, the Armour vests, the exfills, the score-streaks. Those last three things especially DO NOT belong in zombies no matter what way they’re trying to evolve the mode. Let’s throw in the menu/loading screens for good measure. Cold War did it, BO6 is doing it: this shameless Operator showcasing. I’m sitting there in the menus looking at my (shudders) *Operator* walking on loop. Few snazzy close ups on their drip/weapon blueprints. What? Am I supposed to feel immersed just because they have Kevin Sherwood’s DAMNED playing in my ears? Damn, remember that BO1 menu; whole room turning sour yellow & blood red, me stuck to my chair, zombies on the monitors to my right, Hudson going mad up in the chamber. So much heart, man. Honourable mentions to the broken world in BO2 & Dempsey eating his beans in the woods. Really quickly (I’m editing): the loading screens. *LIBERTY FALLS* big and bold like I’m watching a scene change from a Marvel movie. Just get out. Don’t tell me that’s an improvement on the gorgeous comic panels/cutscenes of old. And both menu/loading screens are identical to MP. They’re indistinguishable. Zombies was it’s own mode. It should be respected it and kept that way. Make your camo-grinding maps. Make your entry level maps. Evolve the mode. But respect zombies, don’t exploit zombies. Otherwise, have the decency to let it rest!

NOWHERE in the marketing did they ever promote it as such, like nowhere at all. So either your just misremembering something or you’re just lying. Unless you’ve spoken directly to a Treyarch dev and they told you its a side map akin to The Giant. But it was advertised as just the other launch map over and over.
I'm not lying :/ It's simply called common sense. The map has been advertised as the smaller map. Can't find the exact reference right now but when visiting Treyarch TH-camrs were told this would be the more casual experience.
I mean Town, Tranzit, and Der Riese are all great and loved by the community as Casual maps but Liberty Falls not so much what is so different about Liberty Falls.

These are my views...
The art direction and map layout is another point of contention. As well as reused assets which look copied and pasted and one thing that i have been talking about are dynamic events or live action events like a moving train, and interactable panel that you can move etc. I saw many iterations of this in bo3 like the moving train in Lonely Dark. The map design of Flood Zone. The art direction of Plague of Evil. Perk locations should have memorable items near them otherwise players will never remember where the perks are. Hence why everybody just uses the wonderfiz.
The point people are making is about immersion. So for example the simplicity of the hud isn't there. As when holding many items and viewing them in your hud was seen as the adventure part of the game. The reasoning i think why we had 2 hit downs originally was that the first hit was meant to portray the zombies coming into close proximity and the second being attacked or bitten. The 3 hit was a prolonged being grabbed sequence to make it easier for players. 9 hits doesn't make much sense. P1
Having local sign post's creek and sway from side to side. Small debris flying about the map like paper etc they have done this before but with MWZ they stopped doing it. Particle effects like smoke etc I they have implemented this as this would be the base minimal they would have to do to show off a torn town. Or rubble that falls off the building when you go near the edge of the building while you walking on them. Music jingles from the broken down shops. Real life places have a lot of content which you can adapt into them like how mob handled Alcatraz prison.
I think i saw a an ariel tramway or something or maybe i was wrong. But that would. Show the small urban areas of liberty falls as well.
Dynamic weather and day times is seriously needed as i don't get that the map conveys liberty falls very much. P2
If you slide down an uphill you should have an extended slide as well as other movement mechanics should have been used. As well as increased movement/slip when running through wet puddles, Elemental zombies should have been used as elemental 115 changes in nature and causes random effects. As well as these zombies causing environmental changes like if an zombie has a long range attack and tears up the ground while approaching you. and giving the chance to give a charge/effect to other zombies. Making interesting movement combinations which would prob be used by speed runners if implemented.
The art direction comes into play when you look at the materials and how much they represent their real life counterparts or how they convey their best iterations. Like if you look at a wall and notice the small grainy textures compared to a flat surface wall. But even a flat surface wall has an effect caused by a matt finish. P3
Even if your space is empty the least you can do (if you are outside) is put some strong winds showcase the skybox better and with the small particle and object effects that should help the scene much more.
This also entails into sound design like if you walk past a wall and hear a silent yet piercing whistle followed by words possibly spoken by zombies or their thoughts conveyed from element 115 or the dark ether. Element 115 commonly sounds like electricity crackling or like a glass howling.
Commonly with 115 the environment is erratic with flickering lights, cracked ground, warped objects like cars etc. As well as discoloured environments caused by the changed surroundings.
I don't know if zombies juke in this game tho. P4
One thing they should have done is allow players to use the gersh/mwz portal grenades as temporary fast travel points. This would give a lot of depth to the warzone features as having identity is important as this is another factor of immersion. AAT should have environmental effects like causing zombies to freeze and allowing for fast sliding after killing those zombies adding to the movement mechanics. Or fireworks causing parts of the wall to hit other zombies halting their progress. A buildable prototype lazer gun would be cool as well as an buildable wonder wonder weapon. Or a nanotech gun. The car models look really bland i have to be honest. As others said having the jet gun propel you into the air would be a great feature. P5

It's totally okay if you're not a fan of the product. Voting with your wallet is the best thing you can do to show Activision you want something else. I would say however that constructive criticism is a far nicer way to let the devs know what you do and dont want from a game and that way they're more likely to listen!

Cold War proved that the mass majority of players love the new systems and version of zombies. Look it up, Cold War did incredibly well with the masses. We are a vocal minority here on TH-cam. So as much as you think it sucks, most people like it. I also wish (to an extent) that we could get some old systems back but like everything else things change and it’s also just a game, there’s no reason to get personal. As much as BO3 is my favorite I’m still very excited for BO6.

Everything else you said is correct but the 14-hit down thing has been proven false for a while now. Unlike other games, since Cold War, a zombie’s damage scales as the rounds increase. The only way a 14-hit down could ever exist is if you had maximum armor plates and maximum stashed and actively replaced your armor as you’re taking damage… on round 1, which is impossible.
