hahah love that you put your apples in a coriander rather than an colander lol You should add more pops of color throughout your apartment to warm it up, Canada is already so cold and your apartment feels cold and sterile. A colorful warm apartment might help brighten the cold Canadian days up a bit.

O.k boys great first time effort on the pie. Retired fcs or old fashioned home ec teacher here…use a food processor for your crust. I like Martha Stewart pie crust recipe that uses all butter. If you don’t have a food processor then get a pastry blender. You were using a whisk which is great for eggs but not for dough. Envy your vacation and can’t wait for your next post. Yos and Max soooooo domestique!! Great job with the pie. Try cooking the apples with a cup of sweet white wibe like a reisling or a muscato and add a teaspoon of corn starch made into a slurry. You should definitely get an apple corer tool for future apple pies. It's a time saver and so easy. Also I learned the hard way to get small paring knives for peeling. Yum apple pies are pretty easy and delicious! :) Also I call the bad mood from the fall/winter the sad short for seasonal affective disorder. Love you guys.
OMG! Yos choose green apples to bake apple pie just like me! Most people use red apples but I prefer the green ones as it gave off a more tangy flavour 😋
i do the same thing to try and embrace fall by buying a new jacket. i tried to find a jacket similar to Max's varsity one but ended up spending a lot at Simon's instead 😝 Then i went to H&M. Even more. Whatever works. 😎
