Amazon is big enough and probably doesnt pay as much taxes as a small book store does, because they most likely have made special deals with politicians to get lower taxes ... at least that is what they did in the EU, where they pay 1% taxes ... in Luxemburg ... for everything sold in the EU.

Great book! I'm in the middle of it now. Fascinating read, hard to put down. So much detail as to what was going on behind the scenes. He doesn''t pretend everything was roses, but clearly there were more good things going on than we were told too. I highly recommend the book, very eye opening revelations about the history of Middle East tension.
