The more I think about it, I think that Reservoir Dogs might just be my favorite film of all time. I saw it way too young and the impact it had on me is unmatched.

BTTF is my second favorite movie too! Ghostbusters (1984) and Back to the Future will always be my two favorites. I will admit Back to the Future is a more well-made film than Ghostbusters, but Ghostbusters is very important to me and molded a lot of who I am today and ultimately is more nostalgic to me than Back to the Future
My list: 25. This is the End 24. Tropic Thunder 23. Bullet Train 22. Catch Me If You Can 21. The Truman Show 20. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 19. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World 18. Gladiator 17. Guardians of the Galaxy 8. Return of the King 7. The Two Towers 6. Logan 5. Superbad 4. Back to the Future 3. The Dark Knight 2. The Shawshank Redemption 1. Good Will Hunting I love your content bro! ❤
Let me check my Letterboxd app… 1. Back to the Future Part II 2. Back to the Future 3. Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure 4. Maverick 5. Let it Ride 6. The Shawshank Redemption 7. Casino 8. Goodfellas 9. Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood 10. The Big Lebowski 11. Hot Tub Time Machine 12. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels 13. Elvis 14. Air 15. Kingpin 16. Dumb and Dumber 17. History of the World Part I 18. Some Like It Hot 19. Pulp Fiction 20. Back to the Future Part III 21. Django Unchained 22. The Hateful Eight 23. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 24. Top Gun: Maverick 25. Thor: Ragnarok I used to have Casino at No. 2 and Goodfellas at No. 3 with Shawshank at No. 1, but Robert De Niro’s severe case of TDS brought them down a bit. But I still love those two Scorsese movies and I can watch them over and over that l can’t always do with The Godfather Part I and II. While I don’t have Godfather 1 and 2 in my top 25, I do believe they’re the greatest films ever made. I’ve seen them at least a dozen times. I believe Part II is superior but I prefer Part I because of Brando. And again, De Niro was Vito in Part II and I’m currently pissed at him for hating Trump so much. De Niro was once my favorite actor of all-time. Not anymore. Here’s my next 25 if you’re wondering…. 26. Avengers: Infinity War 27. The Empire Strikes Back 28. Revenge of the Sith 29. Star Wars 30. Return of the Jedi 31. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom 32. Jojo Rabbit 33. Easy A 34. There’s Something About Mary 35. The Godfather 36. The Godfather Part II 37. Forrest Gump 38. Fanboys 39. Revenge of the Nerds 48. Dazed and Confused 49. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 50. True Romance I know Chris and Coy Jandreau didn’t care for True Romance that much as I follow them on Letterboxd along with Sean Chandler, Maggie of Deepfocuslens, and Alex Winter (Bill S. Preston Esq) . Chris only gave it 2.5 stars on Letterboxd. Coy gave it a more forgiving score at 3.5. I can admit, TR was a bit clunky when I first saw it. But similar to a lot of Tarantino scripts, it grows on you. I absolutely love Gary Oldman as a Rasta wigger. This might be Gary’s top 3 performances of his career. Shockingly enough, True Romance is one of Margot Robbie’s favorite movies (if not, her absolute favorite) and she was born in 1990. She was a dead ringer for Alabama a couple years ago for Halloween. I think the Sicilian scene between Hopper and Walken is the greatest dialogue exchange ever in a movie. If Tarantino had directed it instead of Tony Scott, I believe it would’ve flowed better. I would still buy merch from this movie. I know a lot of females who loves True Romance. Reasons why I decided to put Back to the Future and Bill & Ted back in my top 3 is because I can buy merch for them. How many people will you see wear a shirt for Goodfellas or Casino? I own shirts, hoodies, and hats for BTTF and Bill & Ted. And those three are the movies I’ve rewatched the most. Here’s 38 more to get to 88 MPH… 51. The Goonies 52. The Sandlot 53. Real Steel 54. 8-Bit Christmas 55. Home Alone 56. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York 57. Operation Condor 58. Drunken Master 59. Drunken Master II 60. Enter the Dragon 61. The Forbidden Kingdom 62. @@Matrixius I'm guessing he means that it's unusual that a 17 year old has watched and appreciates all these movies given how old, how dark and mature, and how complex many of them are. This list looks more like it would be from a seasoned film critic than a 17 year old. But that's ok; I think it's great that you're watching and appreciating all these movies. That said, I would question if it is possible for a 17 year old to fully understand and appreciate some of these movies. I wasn't watching many movies when I was 17, but I am 28 now and there are some movies on this list (and otherwise) that I've seen that I don't fully understand or that I discover and appreciate more about when I rewatch. Our interaction with the movies that we watch is based in large part on our personal life experiences. That's part of what makes movies so special; the same movie can impact you in different ways at different points in your life. So, I would just encourage you to continue to revisit these movies (and others) as you get older and more mature and experience more life and to keep an open mind about them. That is certainly the mindset that I take to watching movies.
@@seangriffiths820 I see what you are saying, and to an extent, you are correct. I don’t fully understand a large part of the movies on my list. However, my favorite movies of all time doesn’t just consist of movies that I enjoyed or that I understand, it also consist of movies I like discussing with other people, like the interpretation of what the ending to 2001 really meant, or whether or not Deckard is a replicant in Blade Runner, because I’ve noticed that a lot of people’s top ten mainly consist of movies they like watching, which isn’t a bad thing, but my list mainly consists of movies I find the most interesting and enjoyable, in a different way for all of them, the way that I enjoyed Whiplash is not the same in the way that I enjoyed watching 2001. I prefer to watch something that makes me question not only what I’m watching, but also myself as a whole, and some of these are comfort watches like Fargo and Whiplash to an extent, but I didn’t want my list to consist of movies I enjoy watching, I also like to question what I’m watching. Thanks for the comment though.
@@Matrixius I think that's a great point that you don't have to fully understand a movie to enjoy it. And I didn't mean to imply that you do. I just wanted to encourage you as a young person to be open minded about these movies that you probably don't fully understand all of them and that there is more to discover in them and that your perception of them may change as you change. But it sounds like you have the right mindset.

24. Top Gun: Maverick
25. Thor: Ragnarok
I used to have Casino at No.
26. Avengers: Infinity War
27. The Empire Strikes Back
28. Revenge of the Sith
29. Star Wars

46. Shallow Hal
47. Revenge of the Nerds
48. Dazed and Confused
49. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
50. True Romance
I know Chris and Coy Jandreau didn’t care for True Romance that much as I follow them on Letterboxd along with Sean Chandler, Maggie of Deepfocuslens, and Alex Winter (Bill S.
Here’s 38 more to get to 88 MPH…

Ain’t no way you’re 17 watching these movies😂
@ What do you mean?
I recently watched The Social Network and it’s so Good
