One of the greatest things about this game was these puppet shows and how much life they brought to the game, watching these again really takes me back...
It would have been funny if one piece of the map was never discovered by Kane nor The Pirate, and ended up just becoming a housing item for The Wizard.
However there is news regarding Kingsilse as of about a month ago give or take. It was recently bought by Gamigo for 126 million dollars, plans were in motion for Kingsisle as Wizard101 got a new world to add in, PIrate101 as well in the process. In the future I hope they can get the resources to make both games compatible with Windows 10 because I couldn't play them, not without a background issue when I try to get the game in fullscreen mode.

After watching Oversimplified’s “Napoleonic Wars” videos and then watching to Napoleguin puppet shows, it just goes to show how much Pirate101 knew what they were doing.

I loved this game so much, I played it every moment I could! Though Pirate 101 is pretty much dead now and I've realized how greedy Kingsisle came to be, I can appreciate it for teaching me a little history with the Mooshu, Marleybone, El Dorado & Wild West plots (I wouldn't realize these stories were actually kinda true until a few years later :p)
just from these puppet show i can tell how effort was put into pirate and how amazingly detailed it was which made kingsisle choice to drop this seem even more stupid also i love how they made the squid guy into a actual character even if it he was in wizard101 in gave me hope that even if it doesnt get updates the devs still reference its existance

Yeah, a lot of the comments talking about it in the "past tense" are from nearer to when this video was posted. 2023 and 2024 have seen a return to Pirate101 main story updates and it's brought a lot of people back to the game again which is nice to see as a long time player myself :D
I kind wish I played the game more myself instead of just watching my brother play it now. These cutscenes gave me a new appreciation for the game (even though I’ve seen some of them before)
What is really ironic is that a majority of the stories and problems was indirectly caused by your wizard character in wizard101... If you listened to the Polaris story, whom was the major factor for that revolution? That's right... you. The Monquistadors looking through the various ruins in skull island which is probably now the remnants of Azteca, who caused their downfall and disappearance? That's right... you. The disorder in moosho and the uprise of all the tyrants? That's right... you. Basically, All the events caused by your character in Wizard101 is basically the aftermath affect that your player in Wizard101 has to clean up.
I agree with this mostly. Our wizard did kickstart the penguin revolution in Polaris that led to Napoleguin and dealt with the sleeping emperor and warlords in Mooshu. Some nice continuity between the games. It is worth mentioning that Azteca and Skull Island are two separate worlds though (very similar though). Azteca did colonize Skull Island though which is why their ruins are there. In Xol Akmul they mention a portal they used to get there from Azteca.
I know that after the Pirate left Mooshu to deal with the War between Marleybone and the Armada, the Wizard then cured Yoshito and restored order to Mooshu.
Let's be happy that the Armada didn't ally with the Ophidians. I cannot imagine how the war would turn out if Parisss got his hands on Valencian machinery.
@@WizardToby But is it? There hasn't really been an update in years, so I've heard, and I'm not gonna subscribe and start playing if the game's dead. And then there's the question of if I have the time to play it at all. I've got other games, like Skyrim and World of Warcraft.
@@MoltenUprisingMK It's true that there haven''t been major updates in a while. But the content that currently is in the game is all really good. The company that makes the game has been investing more into it so updates will be returning and bringing the game back :) Up to you if you want to play. If you can fit in some time, there's a free to play portion of the game to see if you like it before paying for membership.

Yeah. A lot of the concepts in the game come from real history. Like Santa Rana, Napoleguin, and many more.

Most of these puppet shows are about things that could be considered historical events but most of it has only happened in a decade or 2.

Ooh yeah good point. I guess the Armada never made their way to that world. Aquila is a couple thousand years behind Valencia technologically lol.
