Pacey is PERFECT!!!!
They continually have the same argument because they keep talking about it and thinking about it. Even in season 6 when it is ten years later. They could be happy and move past it but it is always the eternal triangle because they make it so. Just let it go and let Gretchen and Dawson be happy while Joey is happy with Pacey.
That's because Pacey cared about Joey and about hee feelings. Would you want to be with someone who is not interily with you? Who will always be thinking about someone else? That's what happened with Joey awhen she was with Pacey and that's what happened with Gretchen when she was with Dawson.
I love this show so much.

Pacey makes Joey more mature because of how mature he is and Dawson makes her more immature because of how immature he is. I don't know how can people not see that.
Dawson far more mature then pacey. Pacey had so much red.flags.

I always wondered what their problem was when they saw Dawson and Gretchen together. Like they weren't expecting Dawson to find happiness for himself... after what happened last spring and their part in it.
It wasn't that he moved on it was who he moved on with.....Pacey's older collar aged sister!

Pacey is always 100% honest, Joey was holding on to her ideal of Dawson and the dream/potential of what they could.
But dream Dawson was always Pacey, just with Dawson’s face. Glad she realised in the ebd

what drive me nuts is joey say they have the same argument but they dont because joey never honest.

She's right that they used to have the same argument and that Dawson did not grow up until last summer. What she doesn't see is that it was her choosing Pacey that made Dawson grow up without her and he was changed when she came back. Fact is they're all not grown up yet at this point.
