I just want to say, I had the Hisense u8k, 75 inch series for a few days and just exchanged it for the Sony Bravia Xr X90L 75 inches. The Sony is on another level which definitely beats the hisense u8k that i used to have in so many ways. Its truly unbelievable, the colors, the sharpness, and every detail in the picture blows me away, how accurate it is the whites and blacks and every color is true to its color it's so beautiful. Ohh Wow!! The Sony x90l is worth every penny. I think I won a panel lottery. I have not seen any blooming nor ghosting effects or a slightly dirty screen effect. Sdr, hdr, and Dolby vision are all unbelievable. The software on this is so smooth, it's incredible. Thank you so much for what you do and thank you for taking the time to show what TVs can do in comparison, without lying to people! You show it how it is! Always looking forward to see your videos
i did the same. 75u8k exchanged for the 75X90L. i'm very happy with it.
i would like to se your settings that you use. 😊
Everyone is so quick to get seduced and sucked in by the low prices on TV's from Vizio, TCL, Hisense and other low-cost brands. They don't realize that in the TV world, the old saying really IS true: "You get what you pay for!" Save your money and buy a SONY! You'll be SO glad you did. I'm sorry, but the reality here is that those second-tier, discount brands simply DO NOT perform as well as the Sony's do (as a matter of fact, they don't even come CLOSE) - and they typically last anywhere near as long either.
I tried a HIsense also. It wound up in a spare bedroom. I went back to Sony as i did for my other 2 tv's
"its color it's so beautiful. Ohh Wow!!" This was cringe but also funny 😂😂😂
Interesting I don’t know if I agree but here is my opinion, about this I have a 75u8k
The picture is absolutely beautiful. I don’t see no uniformity issues and a professional calibrator so it’s all calibrated. Yes, I got the whole idea of maybe seeing what else might be a better option but it’s not as easy as that I went to the Best Buy I went and looked so many times the X 90 L obviously has more blooming for sure it’s not as deep the blocks are not as deep the colour is not as vibrant or punchy that’s for damn sure…
Out of the box if you’re not gonna calibrate it, then yes, the Sony is better it is more accurate colors. It is a very clear, smooth image, because Sony does have better image processing, but that is the only deciding factor of why I was even considering to swap it and it was either going to be for the 90 L like you guys or the 93L which is a mini LED and has deeper even better colours and black level little bit brighter than more in my opinion it is the better, but it is more expensive than the 90l
Sony has XR clear where are the 93L does not, but I think it makes up for it because it has a mini LED system and just performs better.. when I go to the store to compare a side-by-side the 93 compared to the 90l but for the price I think it’s a bit price but I think it’s better tv.
It’s a tough decision to make. I’m in the same boat. Keep u8k 75 crazy amount of local dimming zones very good black level, extreme brightness, extreme color, and I obviously calibrated that as well and looks great. I don’t see no uniform issues. Maybe I got lucky maybe I didn’t but it looks pretty good. The panel I have which I already checked out. Blooming is pretty much not really exist on this. I don’t really see it at all that’s all it does such a great job at that. But if I’m really becoming picky and nitpicky, and I’m trying to find fault and that’s what I do because I have OCD nothing is usually good enough lol
The only thing I can think about swapping to a Sony because they have better image processing and clear and scaling, low content, etc. etc but how much more ?
Is it worth me to swap? U8k for x90l at the same size of course 75 inch.. ?
Or swap my u8k 75 for 65 x93l which is the way I was thinking yes I lose a lot of size that part sucks but if it’s more refined and it’s got a better image and upscales better, I think I would choose the better quality image.
Tough decision to make. I just don’t like Sony that doesn’t put a lot of zones in their TVs and this is why you see blooming besides that yes their picture looks amazing but I feel like the u8k offer so much especially with gaming whether you use it or not where the Sony is not clearly on the same level they’re pretty good but they’re not 144 refresh rated doesn’t have all the bells and whistles it doesn’t
Since there are no perfect TVs and every TV model has strengths and weaknesses, choosing the TV you want to buy really comes down to deciding what features you absolutely must have to keep you happy long-term, while knowing which compromises won't bother you. There are several different companies making excellent TVs these days, and I do tend to appreciate the approach that Sony takes in achieving accurate picture quality. The best Sony models are often a bit pricey, but if they perform reliably for years (and if you can find them at a nice discount during sales like Black Friday) I think Sony TVs can be a good value.
This is exactly why I kept a 3D TV around haha
Thing is... the problem for this TV is one that should've been solved years ago. The amount of local dimming zones should be at least doubled or tripled for a TV of this class and it's quite literally the only thing holding it back. I love my Z95F and it only has like 104 zones, but that was still an acceptable amount back when it came out. The colours still look amazingly lifelike. But I think that the 90 series still having less than 100 zones 5 years after the release of my TV is nothing less than completely unacceptable, especially with the increased sizes you can get the TV's with.
@@thenonexistingheroToo expensive for the manufacturers. It’s cheaper and more profitable to make OLED displays for people that don’t want any blooming. Lol.
This tv from 2013 : Sony kdl55w900a ? I have still this tv because it is still the BEST tv for SD and HD tv chanels !
@@gorogimre2 My sister had a Sony Trinitron 1080i flat screen CRT TV that worked for 20 years without a glitch, and when she finally exchanged it for an OLED it was still working PERFECTLY. I was sad to see it go (especially since it may have been taken to a landfill by the big box store that hauled it away when they delivered the new TV). Unfortunately, neither my sister nor I had a place to keep the Sony CRT.
Back-light uniformity and dirty screen drive me absolutely mad and are the only things that are total hard passes to me, and they are pretty much unavoidable unless you want an oled, which is useless to us due to having floor to ceiling windows in our lounge, so it's bright as hell in the day!
We brought and returned a LG Nano99 mini led as it had such egregious back-light bleed that even my wife (who isn't phased by it) thought it looked appalling. We brought a TCL C845 which was dead on arrival. We also tried a Philips PUS8897 which has near perfect uniformity but had two dead pixels that were bright red. In the end we settled on a 65in X90L, and while it has some back-light uniformity issues, they are very very minor and the local dimming pretty much much makes it a moot issue. It's been a great choice for us and this video showed me the way! So thank you.
Whether you love Sony as a company or not, you gotta give them credit for their displays being amazing.
I can't say they are amazing for having so much blooming. That's not how creators intended to see the content, with that insane amount of blooming and grey blacks. To get blacker blacks with very little blooming, you need Samsung/Hisense/TCL, but it will dim dowm the picture, but this way you get black as black. But Sony fanboys don't care about black levels, I knew that already. All Sony LCDs suffer from the same blooming, on all models, including top end X90, X95 or even Z series. Sony fanboys like this type of picture, that's why they buy LCDs from Sony.
@@doicenti9033 Agreed, blooming is not what creators intended and IMO more egregious than color luminance issues.
@@doicenti9033 wow, so much ignorance in such a small post. Well done.
@@doicenti9033 I'll take blooming with a picture I can see over deep black crush with missing details. I remember attempting to watch Alien on a Samsung Q90T but because Samsung engineers decided to eliminate all blooming, they also decided that I didn't deserve any details at all.
As a non native english speaker blooming in every subtitle is a hell.
Just bought a TCL tv with 480 miniLED zones and returned it. The image quality just straight up sucks when comparing to my old SONY X90J with only 24 zones, HDR or SDR. The TCL just wouldn't bright up or dimm down when it needs to. A lot of people just don't understand that when it comes to image quality, the processing algorithm is way more important than the hardware specs.
This!
Yes
Most important qualities like black level/contrast are very depended on hardware specs.
@@ДмитрийКузнецов-п8ч Specs without control is a waste.
@@Krynale Exactly. 80 zones is a joke in terms of control
Congrats on the 500K Vincent. Well deserved!
@AP-hn8wd: Thanks!
If Only Sony could have a TV that has the same zones as let's say the QN95C, but handle it better and manage to retain the X90L "detail".
2:39 the X90L is so much better looking right at this time stamp. The skin color, the highlights. It only fails because of the blooming.
I really want to see Vincent review the X95L so we can get a really good idea of it's capabilities.
Blooming is one of those things that on a test pattern, and when you're looking for it (in really specifc scenes), looks absolutely frightening, but in real-life viewing situations, fortunately, is a total non-issue. At least in my opinion.
Most people will not notice that or even know what blooming is or even think there's something wierd at all. Soo yeah.
X93L
Sonys upscaling and AI has always been good. It’s not over the top but also not gutless, They’ve been under the radar because of Samsung and LG dumping advertisements due to having a huge amount of money. Every Sony I ever owned has been top notch.
I’d say it’s pretty universally known that Sony leads the market in upscaling/AI. They may not be the brightest or have the most bells and whistles but they’re guaranteed to give a clean and accurate image.
When people take the time to sit down and actually do their homework, they find that about 95% of the time when you actually factor in ALL considerations, Sony is the best choice when it comes to TV's. The more you actually take the time to look into it, the more you are likely to find this to be the case.
@@michaelbeckerman7532 What an insulting and pretentious boast.
@johnb4905 Not really.
It only makes sense that the imagining tech juggernaut who literally makes the defacto grading monitors for the industry probably knows best how to appy that knowledge to their TV's per given price point better than the competition.
Just because the layman hasn't a clue, that doesn't nullify the facts.
@@MaddJakd Oh, you're the arbiter of the facts. LOL. The industry uses Sony reference monitors but colorists also use LG and Panasonic OLED televisions. Sony relies on 3rd party panel and chip manufacturers. You can only take the correlation between their reference monitors and retail televisions so far.
The bottom line is Sony is not necessary the best choice for some folks' preference and usage cases. The A95L is likely going to be the best TV for pure PQ this year but the Samsung S90C gives you almost the same performance for a much lower price.
Vincent we'd love to have you participate at our September 29-October 1st 4K and 8K TV Shootout Evaluation event in NYC! Lets please try to make this happen.

I love this TV. Nice build quality. The sound is super impressive. Really big hit from Sony this year.
I just bought it from Best buy, it just arrived in Canada. Wow! it's so much more premium than the X90K. From picture, sound, design build quality improvement.
It's the model with the biggest year over year jump in the lineup in my opinion, I speculate that not having a new 8K tv in the lineup freed up budget for other models.
Feels closer to the X93L/X95K and L in terms of design that the X90K ever was.
How about the subtitles? Is that noticeable
I've replaced a failing S95B by this Sony X90L, used as computer monitor, and could not be happier!!!! The image clarity and the smoothness of it is amazing. For my use case it's even better than the samsung QD OLED, and the best part is that I don't need to babysit it and still fail me like that Samsung POS.
planning to do that since my s95B died 2 months after the warranty expired. Did you notice any big difference in image quality?
@@Ricardo-qw6dy not really, the sony is really great, and has a feeling of way better construction that will not disappoint. it's like day and night, while some considered the thinness of the s95b a plus, in practice for me, that is another reflection on how at samsung they prioritized other unimportant things vs the robustness and image quality of the sony.
Just bought this tv today. So far is pretty darn good. Im happy with it. Coming from Vizio M Series from 2017. My old tv still worked great but wanted an upgrade. The Vizio is a perfectly serviceable tv.
Same here. Just bought this today. Hasn’t arrived yet. But also coming from a Vizio M series from 2017. lol
Vizio having local dimming issues. Some areas have gone dark.
I’m Ready for this Sony upgrade though!

congratulations. any ghosting or trailing or judder in fast action scenes or games?
@@PcGamingForFun All VA panel based tvs are going to have ghosting. The panels can’t transition from light to dark and dark to light as quickly as IPS. Judder is not bad at all. If you want minimal ghosting you need to be looking at IPS but contrast won’t be as good.
@@PcGamingForFunI haven’t gamed much on it yet. But so far very happy with the improved image on movies.
The X90L handles low bit rate content excellently and I think that is a underrated feature. Macroblocking is horrible on other brands.

I really wish that dual cell had taken off, because that gets you so close.
And now that we have 1080 P 500 Hz monitors, you can get the motion clarity of 2 ms of frame persistence.
I’m afraid they’re going to stop making LCDs just in time for them to have the quality that we all wish they had back in like 2003
it has it's own issues like panel to panel syncing, power consumption, brightness, and so one. But, it still would've been cool to see it take off
Well, the Sony mastering monitors do utilize the concept to get per-pixel luminance control, so it wasn't entirely abandoned. It just isn't cost-effective for a consumer display
Vincent, the point of the backlight scan motion blur settings for 60Hz as you must know is to reduce persistence blur from sample-and-hold *without* having to engage motion interpolation, which can have its own problems. Yes, you get a tradeoff of a dimmer picture with more flicker/clearer motion for "older" 60fps and lower content, but the point is to get something closer to a CRT-like clarity even at the cost of a dimmer picture. This kind of smoothness is different from the smoothness of interpolation, which many people wish to avoid for older or non-optimized game and video content.
I wouldn't call the backlight scan setting a 'kind of smoothness' but otherwise agree 100%.
@@Keivz You're right, "smoothness" is more in line with what you get with interpolation, while any kind of strobe or flicker is better described as "clarity", like what we see most with CRTs and to a lesser extent with Plasmas.
I would say Crts still have the best motion handling especially for full screen shots
@@shivamarya5225 Yes CRTs remain the kings of motion clarity especially for 60Hz.
It should still have an effect on the motion resolution test result if it's effective. There used to be a time you could get 1080 lines just with the backlight scanning setting...
Has minimal effect on my XH95 as well but setting it to 1 does help a little. 2 and higher are useless on it
They should have made the X90 series a mini-led series at this point. Leave the FALD series for the X85 and below at this point.
Agree. They will do it for shure in near future
HI Vincent, many will be happy about an X95L test. Can you say approximately when will test. THANKS
Thanks Vincent for the in-depth review. I have booked Sony X90L.
Wow. Most in depth review Ive come across. Excellent work.
Sony has always and will always have the best algorithms in almost every area.
Not vrr...
there motion sucks!
@Wobbothe3rd that's not due to sony algorithm. That's due to mediatek chip that isn't sony. The new one will be great 😉. The one that comes out on the new models will do vrr fine.

@craighopkins4496: Thanks!
This TV does have some blooming in a few specific scenes (only 80 zones), other than that the processing is first-rate and is still an outstanding product.
It's not the number of local dimming zones the tv has; it's what it does with them that counts
Thank you very much for this detailed review on the settings. I've been doing a lot of research on this TV and will be getting it soon. I'll be using your recommendations for settings.
The Sony X90L is a great TV!
man that hx310 motion is perfect!!! both qn95c and x90l showing double images in motion except hx310 at least in youtube!
still happy with my X90F!
00:52 kindly someone explain to me. In this white picture, both top corners look light are dimmer compared to other placements. For me it’s look like little blue at both top corners.
This is my next 85 inch tv. I spend an embarrassing amount of time reaching my upcoming black Friday purchase and this is the winner. I currently have an X900E from 2017 and it has been a beast (aside from the 60hz gaming limitation) Fuck Oled ........
I’ve spent a similar amount of time and I’ll likely also go X90L.
Maybe Bravia 7 if the price difference gets small enough but I’m not sure that will happen.
The only concern I have is subtitle related blooming, but then again, my current TV some subtitle blooming too. I’m sure the X90L will blow my current TV out of the water.
I don’t think I can bring myself to go OLED or flagship LED as there are too many compromises on both sides for me to spend big money.
@@pieflies Well said. I think we both arrived at the same conclusion. To be fair, if the Bravia 9 wasn't almost 3x the price of the 90L (at the size I want )I wouldn't hesitate as I believe it to be the best TV out right now.
If I didn't use my TV as a PC monitor for 80% of its usage I would give OLED a more serious consideration, but then there is the issue of losing out on Sony processing, which I can't see myself moving away from after having my X900e since 2017.
The TCL and Hisense horror stories just scare me away from those brands in terms of QC - My experience with the X900E has been so utterly satisfying I can almost guarantee regret if I stray away from Sony at this point.
I have always thought my old X900H was pretty good, even much better than LG QNED91 for most of content. Especially skin tones.
Is Sony adjusting the Colors properly with brightness on the other models or only this one ?!! Very very happy you cover this question I had for a long time

Sony #1 rule is do no harm. They will not try to hide the limits of LCD tech...you simply don't have fine control of the luminance. Trying to make it look like OLED just harms the image. You lose a lot of detail
What really harms the image is poor black level /blooming and contrast. it just kills any experience
Yeah, but they wouldn't need to worry too much about that If they stopped with bs of trying to force low dimming count TVs. Imagine this, but with 1000 zones or so? The weakness of the LCD panel will obviously be very visible if you have a low dimming count.

You also reviewed the Panasonic DP-UB9000 premium 4K UHD Blu-ray player which has the unique ability to convert HDR to SDR while maintaining the wide color gamut of 4K UHD Blu-ray discs. At some point, I was considering purchasing the Panasonic DP-UB820 for daytime viewing because of this feature. Being that the Sony X90L was released four and two thirds years later than the Panasonic DP-UB9000, would setting the Sony X90L's HDR Tone Mapping to Brightness Preferred achieve picture quality equal to or better than the Panasonic DP-UB9000's HDR to SDR conversion with wide color gamut?
My X90L is beginning to collect dust inside the panel, just like my previous X90J.
I cleaned the panel from the outside, but there are still smudges. Definitely dust.
What can I do to clean it without having to disassemble the tv? Which is something I can't do anyway.

Great review! Vincent, would you be kind to give your comments on X95K vs X90L? I'm interested in learning if the higher native contrast ratio of X90L reduces the blue haloing compared to X95K, and if the overall PQ is similar or if lower how much lower than the X95K. Very much look forward to the X95L and A95L reviews as well in due course!
Would like to know this too. X95K is around 200 bux more than the X90L for a 75 inch here in Australia.

Fwiw I ended up getting x95k. After checking them out in store side by side, the x95k has inky blacks exactly like OLEDs with hardly any discernible blooming. The X90L on the other hand isn't nearly as good.
x95k is the same tv as x93l
How would the 2023 Sony X90L full array fair vs LG QNED85 MiniLED 2022? Both TVs are around the same price - the LG is less. Which would you go with?

I hope you're enjoying the X80L. It's not a bad TV at all. The one thing distinguishing the other TVs below X90L is the lack of its proprietary "XR" chip. That chip is the reason why the TV can upscale just like the higher end TVs. The colours are also fantastic.

If price were not a consideration, would you choose the X90L which seems to have more detail and clarity with the XR Clear feature or the X93L with the greater contrast and depth of blacks of the mini LEDs?
This is a good tv, but I wish they put their x wide angle feature on this. As I need better viewing angles :(
X95L bro
@@falsehope5529 yeah I might get that instead
If you're going to have a low number of dimming zones then native contrast needs to be high as possible which a wide angle filter kills. You'll need to step up to a higher model or look at another brand.
@@johnb4905 oh thanks that makes sense did not know that, just wish the x95k or x95l came in 55"
sony x90k vs x90l vs x95k please guide if in a one glass door room apartment and a LG b8 user
Mini LED probably the brightest for your room situation. So, most likely the X 95K.
What about reflections? Is it good for bright room?
Grats on 500k!
@Usr2584: Thanks!
Let me tell you one bug in these Sony-TV, when playing a Dolby Vision video, the Clarity Settings inside Picture Settings does not reflect any changes. i.e. if you vary sharpness settings from 0% to 100% nothing changes in picture sharpness. This happens only while playing a DV Video. @Vincent Please check the same.
Since Oled has become so cheap, the price of this LCD has become a really hard sell for all the downsides it has.
No burn in higher brightness then OLED
nah... oled still suck in brun in and abl.
55" oleds are relatively cheap, but the 65" ones are still outrageously priced
The price jump from 55" to 65" is ~60-70% in the oled world, while it's only ~20-30% in the LCD world.
Hi. Thinking to replace my 55xh9505 to 55xr90l due to 4k120hz ps5 gaming. But also a fan of evening/night movie watching. Xh9505 is great for night movies and a joy to watch. Would i have a similar performance with xr55x90l ? Or is it step down. Regards.
How would you compare the X90L to the X93L?
Anyone knows how many local dimming zones 55" Sony X85L has ?
How is the tv working for you? About to bite the bullet on the x85l. Today will go to the store to see the tv IRL.
Love the channel. One of the best sources for info about TVs out there. Only thing I’d request is more coverage of affordable TVs. Not all of us can afford top of product stack models you seem to cover almost exclusively.
Yea some tcl & hiensie tv reviews would be great
You can just buy high end from 2 years ago. If you are on a budget its stupid to go current gen.
@@teekanne15 sure, One could do that. I’d still appreciate content about things other than top shelf models. You’re free to disagree
@@Thecatdrums3 ya. He could do a budget display roundup 2-4 a year or something.
Another thing I’d like to see from our host, or simply some people here in the comments, is recommendations of display calibration specialists for people who don’t live in the UK. I’d appreciate some recommendations for the Pacific Northwest/Seattle USA for example :)
Can i find your calibration settings for this tv please? After watching this video I have gone ahead with this
Hello, a question, can you turn the tv on and off using the remote control but without pointing the control at the sony X90L tv?
Vincent, what “value” 75/85 tv would you recommend for low latency 4K 60hz gaming? I never use more than 60hz but I am chasing as low input latency as possible with HDR. Thank you for another great video !
How to resolve dark corners at the four edges of the tv when a bright image displayed?
cheers. this one is on my radar. tcl c845 is also looking very good, and 700 quid cheaper tho. are you going to review that one Vincent?
The TCL C845 does a lot of things very well, but currently has a very annoying problem: the local dimming does not turn off 100% in situations that it should in order to get pure black, black bars are noticeable in movies (grayish, high luminance), it affects all sizes. Just to let all potential users know in advance. Lots of info on Spanish and French forums/channels.
Remember, when it comes to LCD entries Sony beats Samsung in the VE TV Shootouts despite having much more blooming than the Samsung. Point being Vincent isn't some sell out recommending the X90L.
I don't get it. Why is Sony using such an old chipset with only two HDMI 2.1 ports supported? I'm buying a tv for 8-10 years, it should feature current hardware, not something like this..
1600€ for the 65" version in Germany isn't that cheap either..
My mom got the XH90 55" from 2020 and it has the SAME chipset! Wtf..
There's other things like the lack of Wifi 6 for example because of this.
Thankyou Vincent. Would you recommend this over the QN95C?
When adjusting the PS5 HDR calibration, should we have the auto tone mapping set to off?
Is this better than LG C3?
Hi is the sony bravia 7 an improvement in blooming compared to the x90l?
Yes, it has way more zones, 480 @ 65". This tv is 2014 technology ...
Hi Vincent, would you say the Sony X90L is better than the Samsung QN85C?
Hey there, I am bit confused between Sony X90L and LG Qned83. I wanna know which one is better? How is the blooming on X90l compared to Qned83?
I've had a Bravia for years now and just recently upgraded to a new Bravia LED KD-50X77L. I have the Yamaha surround sound system on my other Bravia and it worked perfectly. But now I've noticed the audio video sync is off by milliseconds as some others have mentioned on postings. I turned off the motion flo as suggested by others. Is it possible the Yamaha system that only has optical input and no hdmi may not be compatible with todays tvs?
Thoughts? DO I need to upgrade my external sound system now to be more compatible?
I was wondering what’s the reasoning behind setting HDR on Ps5 to 16 clicks 11:55 since most guides and even one of your old videos seem to recommend setting up the sun until the click where you can’t see it for optimal HDR
Most likely it’s for this particular full array display since it can make the areas with light appear too bright to the point where it looses detail.
@@Mr.Stalin116 ohh, that makes sense. It was so weird him contradicting himself
@JavimenX: Our "until the sun first disappears" advice only applies if the TV's tone-mapping can be disabled entirely to hard clip, which is not the case on the Sony X90L.
@@hdtvtest THANK YOU! 🙏🏻
Do you know if Hisense’s U7G / U8G has tone mapping enabled or disabled by default? So I can set it optimally for my TV. (They don’t offer an option to set it off). I always trust your advise so I went for the clipping sun
I have my U7G setup for the 25th click on my Ps5 as the sun disappears at about 4000nits
@@hdtvtestwould this apply to the X95J?
I have 2 full array local dimming TV top "quality" from Samsung and LG (2022) they are good for bright room but absolutely nothing can beat my 3 OLEDs TV( 2 LG and one Samsung) in the dark ... The problem with led backlight is not just blooming, there is a short afterglow when the TV local dimming tries to turn "black"... Anyone have their own standard and I'm not here for arguing with anyone , but don't just buy a TV for the brand or for a review that you saw somewhere ... Just use your own eyes and keep in mind that the brain doesn't work like a computer, we can see colorimetric "illusion" so just live the experience and set the TV to your own preference , you are not a computer. Cheers 🙏
I don't know if anyone sees this but I'm confused whether to pick the 65x85L or 55x90L price not so much different.
Is the adjustable feet feature on ALL available screen sizes of just larger ones?
Are you turning Reality Creation on at all in any scenario?
Do different sizes has different zone counts or the zones remains the same?
I'm curious as to why you recommend 16 clicks for the PS5 as opposed to 15. Isn't 15 closer to the 1000 nits target?
Does L models have same issue with dust buildup inside on diffuser like it was with H and J models?
Hi. I loved your video review, and I've subscribed. However, I'm very curious as to which tv you'd recommend for watching tv and films with subtitles. I'm in an apartment with a semi bright room during the daytime, and the tv stays on all day on news or classic television programs, so there's often a news branding image towards the bottom, or there are black bars around the sides. That being said, I know blooming and less inky blacks can be a problem with non-oled tvs. I'm looking at three Sony models as choices - the A75L oled, or the X90L Full Array, or the X94L Mini Led. Which is the best choice overall for my needs?
Just got this TV yesterday, it's amazing. Noticing slight blooming but not bad. Do you know best settings to get deep blacks and no blooming?
The blooming is pretty bad on it but that's Sony for you
@@michaelscott466No it isn't, in real content it's brilliant, it fails when showing Oled demos which are not something you see often in real content.
@@bign3ck When viewing HDR content, the letterbox bars become extremely bright at times. You can't deny this pal. Personally it doesn't even bother me because the TV does everything else so well.
Sony still King of TV 👑
Could you please share your calibration settings for x90l?
