Constituents visit their representative in the hope of resolving their various problems encountered in daily living. And Yes, Singapore is effective n efficient because we plan everything ahead, from learning from our past experiences.

In Joint Declaration of UK and China, the sovereignty of Hong Kong transferred from UK to China in 1997 but According to the Treaty of Peace with Japan, signed in San Francisco by 48 nations in 1951, Japan only gave up the sovereignty over Taiwan and it never gave Taiwan to any other country. Ever since 1996 Taiwanese have elected their president and congress members every 4 years. My family immigrated from Kinmen to Taiwan about 350 years ago and most of Taiwanese families have the same backgrounds as mine. This period was even before the times when most of American families immigrated from UK to America.
