Mohg definitely doesn't like pest threads (no hit, solo) RL99

I'm really surprised that pest threads could wreck him this badly, especially when my build isn't optimized.
In the current patch, many of the buffs don't work on incantations
Now I'll definitely do another pest threads run with a fully buffed build.

Dang, that was a beatdown. Question - do you think Radagon’s is really worth it in PvE? In PvP it has a place, IMO, as it can give you that frame or two of an advantage over a human opponent, but in PvE, I always feel like it isn’t quite doing enough…

For my current build in particular I have the option of using faithful canvas or Exultation of rot.
I find it a hassle to poison and antidote myself and 4% damage increase doesn't seem much.
Moreever pest threads cast is really slow.
So I think it depends on the spell you are using

Also you could off-hand the Azur staff for +40 virtual dexterity towards casting speed, according to the wiki (without extra FP cost)
You could also do the Optimized threads playthrough in NG+, more HP to deplete = bigger number

Will radagon icon and azur staff stack or will +40 hit max cast speed and anymore won't help?
NG+ sounds like a great idea. I wonder if people prefer to watch NG+ more or new games more

@@daddywhogames I personally prefer NG, you can see how the build progresses and naturally progresses (though it's not as effective a guide when you do it, i can't play with base Vig)
Radagon and azur stack for +70 virtual dex, AFAIK

I'm worried that pest threads doesn't scale with hp pool so the impact might not be as great as new game.

@@daddywhogames You will have to deal more damage, yes, but Pest thread damage is already bonkers when unbuffed, all the buffs will offset the little HP-scaling enemies get by a mile
