I've just been trying to beat Niall with dual dagger bleed build for the past 9h. It's 6am 💀. Seeing this gives me motivation! I have difficulties getting down the movement around him once I've dodged his 'whirlwind plunge/jump' or whatever it's called. I can't reliably run around and punish him without getting hit, and when I get hit I panic roll and get hit again 😂. Gotten him to 1hp around 4 times now, so I'll make it soon (knocks on wood)...

For the elden beat fight i did the exact same thing with pest threads but i buffed with lord of bloods exultation + white mask and even got contagious fury off as well. With the talismans i had, this worked charms and I one cycled elden beast

Trolls roar doesnt put her down anymore, just tried this now for anyone getting excited.stood next to her and tried it 3 times and she just stumbled and staggered on the 3rd.trying a no armor or shield run and struggling with this boss fight.nice vid tho dude

Thank you for this guide! Took a page out of your book of aggresiveness and beat him. For others still trying; It might help to remove pieces of armor until you get light weight (remove halberd, shield, helmet and chest for vagabonds). The extra mobility makes a difference and you're gonna get 2 - 3 shot with or without it.

Damn, I almost didn't watch this. I've already scrolled past it twice in the past 2 days while I've been practicing him. I expected this to be you explaining how to dodge 2 easy attacks for over a minute, and that sounded like a bad time. This was bad ass. I don't know if I feel like learning to line the stagger up with the attack timing yet, but this would be really cool to learn. Nice job. It looks cool as fuck

How are you getting 600+ hit per arrow? I have higher stats and use similar talismans, and I can't get it over 450.

What I love about these RL1 runs is how you can effectively have many builds in one because everything is item based with zero investment in stats. So you can switch instantly between a mage build, a dex build, a bleed build, a strength build within seconds for different fights if you want to. The main limitation being a lack of smithing stones, especially in the early to mid game (bah). I’m currently on my own RL1 playthough and have built out dexterity (Bloodhound Fang), strength (Zweihander), and faith (Dragon Communion Seal/Incants) builds. Made it to Godfrey so far. Lots of fun and not as hard as I thought (yet!). Watching this because I’d like to add a mage build as well to have more options going into late game.
