Iran attacked Israel on Saturday night

- For several hours on Saturday night, as Iranian missiles streaked through the skies, millions of people in Israel and across a restless region held their breath.
On Sunday morning, Israelis awoke to find their country relatively unscathed, fortified by widespread global support after months of international isolation. The nightmare scenario leaders here had long warned about - a direct attack from Iran - provided a public showcase of the regional coalition and high-tech systems built to repel such an assault.
The five-hour barrage, in retaliation for a deadly Israeli strike on an Iranian diplomatic facility in Damascus, Syria, was massive, involving hundreds of attack drones and guided missiles, and supporting fire from at least some of Iran’s regional proxies. But it also came with some warning and appeared calibrated to head off a wider war. Israel leveraged its sophisticated air defense technology and its network of anti-Iran allies, giving its forces operational freedom across large swaths of Middle Eastern airspace. In the end, most interceptions occurred outside of Israeli territory, the military said. - ตลก

@Cguy-bj8uc it's not coping on what they're showing. It's joking as if it just some kind of movie scene. Which REAL people are dying
@@del8548 and it happens all the time. They are simply lessening the drama and reality of the real thing with their skits. Dark humor has existed for a long time and even people in war torn countries cannot help but laugh and joke about their situation. What's so wrong about it when an youtuber use the same thing to the current horrible situation of the world(but..if he directly joked about the deaths and suffering, not the conflict...I believe that's out of line )
@Cguy-bj8uc well i believe we have different views for darkjokes It's totally fine. t's just this guy only tells the 'story' from one side while ignoring some facts about what even started the retaliation. About the jokes i get what you're saying
I see that you were so anxious to find something offensive you brought your own straw man to provide it. You could have waited and someone would have come along and said. "Wars aren't but sometimes the combatants are." or something else you could work yourself into a huff over.
Or you could loosen your sphincter a bit and realize that humor has been a part of war since the first neolithic era caveman tripped over his own feet and fell victim to his own new and super advanced weapon, the spear. As well as being common no matter how fierce the war. Listen to Spike Jones and his songs about WW2 written while it was happening.
Everybody talking about the Iran Embassy as if Israel did it in cold blood. The Iranian Ambassador was coordinating support for militant groups currently attacking northern israel. Everybody has the right to defend themselves
More then 70% of the missiles where defendid by Isrealy weapons. The other countries bearly helped.
It is very telling that you left out the most important part of the story, which is that Iran's missile strike was a *legal* response to Israel's *illegal* bombing of the Iranian Consulate in Syria.
How is a missile strike legal?
@@mightoffire1109 Because Israel bombed them first. Under international law, "retaliatory strikes" are legal.
FYI: The larger context is much more complicated. Attacks considered to be "revenge strikes" are not legal, while "retaliatory strikes" are. I'm not sure exactly what the difference is. I know & talk to many attorneys, but none of them are experts on international diplomatic or warfare law and more importantly I'm not an attorney myself, so this is just my nonexpert understanding.
It's very telling that you left out Iran's history of attacking Israeli embassies around the world.
@@nate_storm I mean international law. Israel committed an unprovoked act of war (illegal), & Iran responded (legal).
@@RousseauVoltaire It is also very telling that you left out the fact that the allegations that Iran was involved in an attack from 30 years ago only happened this week.
It's also very telling that you bring up an alleged crime from 30 years ago, when you people scream non-stop that nothing ever happened before Oct 7. 🙄
30 years, when you people

Irans proxy attacked israel
GOD Bless Israel.. Love from India
Iran: just gonna move my president

Iran: shit
Israel attack iran
America : Iam dont see it
Iran responded
America : iam cursing you iran
wonder who was in that place...someone who helped to attack and kidnapped some ppl?? idk
When Israel attacked Iran it was on accident 🥺 they said they were sorry ❤ but when Iran retaliated they did it out of hatred 🤬 those darn antisemitism always hating Israel for absolutely no reason at all
To be fair, the Iranian Regime has been using Proxies to attack Israel for years.
Did you forget the part where Iran attacked Israel on October 7th with its proxies and the people killed by the attack on Israel was the guys who planned October 7th, if you don't want your embassy to be hit collaterally don't place valid military targets next to them. Also it wasn't on Iranian territory. There is also a ratio of 1:400 on the exchange.
It was diplomats... diplomats were in that place🤦♂️
You forgot the part where Israel destroyed Iran’s consulate in Syria first
They did not destroy the consulate.
They destroyed a nearby annex building to the consulate which was used as a military headquarters for the IRGC and therefore didn't have diplomatic protections.
You mean Iran's military base with two Iranian terrorist generals.
It was not a consulate. It was an IRGC military command post.
@@terrariolait is a UN approved consulate, you having doubts about it doesnt justify bombing it
If it’s being used for military purposes, its status as a diplomatic center is essentially revoked. Try again
Like if Iran was not the head of Hamas and Hezbollah, stop pretending Iran is the victim.
Netanyahu has always maintained that his greatest achievement was destroying the PLO and manoeuvring Hamas into power in Gaza.
the fact that Iran actually warned in advance was a clear message that they do not want to escalate either, but this is in response to what Israel did. Apparently ISrael thinks Iran doesn't have a right to defend itself.
“How do we retaliate?”
You don’t. You started it. Iran was even nice enough to warn you about the strikes because they couldn’t just accept you curb stomping their consulate.
Israel started it? Are you on a different planted? Excluding the strike on the embassy, tell me how Israel started the conflict in the middle east? Iran has been constantly helping hamas from the start, just because you arent in direct contact with the conflict doesnt mean you arent involved?
People do not realise basically the whole world is at war now. The west is at war with Russia, on what planet is supplying weapons not a declaration of war?
Blud does not understand how wars work 💀
Except it was Iran who started it. 😂
@@KelvinSG if you’re governing a country, I expect you to be beyond “waaaa he started it” level thinking. You should prioritise the health, safety, and happiness of your people. I don’t like Iran, but I have to give them mad props for warning Israel about the attack so it could be countered. That’s prioritising the happiness of Iranians who feel a need for justice, and simultaneously the safety of Israeli citizens. The IDF just keeps showing time and time again that they don’t care about their own citizens, let alone any other human life.
@@KelvinSGYes, according to the Likud regime in Israel, this was not started by Israel bømbing the Iranian Embassy but rather by Iran retaliating after the UN failed to do anything for two weeks.
The Likud regime in Israel has since condemned Iran's retaliation against Israel's attack.
That cliffhanger, yikes
people please how many times I should say that there is no Israel
literally , no matter how powerful you may be , if it's a weak Arab country you're like : "we need reinforcements"
israel : how do we respond to a situation we started in the first place.
Why do you ignore the fact that israel attacked an iranian consulate?
Because the consulate is still standing, what was attacked was the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps regional headquarters in Syria, which housed several high ranking IRGC officers who were working with Hezbollah to facilitate missile attacks on Israel. There have been several cases in which IRGC officers have been known to work with proxy groups with the support of the Iranian government, however there have also been cases where IRGC officers have ostensibly been working on their own with dubious or no backing from Tehran for their actions.
Why do you ignore the fact that Iran is a sponsor of terrorism that's already attacked israel 100s of times
"We fund both sides of this war but we want peace!!!"
"Oh my god you guys are out of resources do you need help?"
“Please do not escalate”... Dumbledore said calmly
context left faster than my dad
its a one minute video, context is gonna be missed lmao. they write actual articles on this stuff too that includes much more information.
if you think any 1 minute video you ever saw had context, you are wrong. don't learn about sh't from shorts.
in here the idea in general is to show how the attack went, no context needed, and the end recommends that israel is going to respond, a thing they did few hours ago. and actually listened and did a very small attack on army bases.
that is not lost context, it's just me spelling you out because you seem to need it.
IKR love he very very clearly leaves the fact that the Iranian attack was a retaliation to idk Israel destroying their embassy?
If you havent been living under a rock for the last week you wouldnt need context..
@@zimbiotic7325 and as usual propagandists leave out that iranian commanders were there to command their terror groups they fund....
So what you’re saying is this is all just a fun board game? This is why every other country hates us. USMC veteran.
It's simplifying what's going on for the average person and representing it by a board game for that very same reason
this IS all just a fun board game! you saw the desert too and it was glorious. something tells me your service was desk related if you care so much for the opinions of lesser nations
So we just gonna ignore the fact that Israel struck first huh?
The US saying they want peace in the region is fucking gold.
Iran has the rights to defend itself
France talking about peace when it says to attack Russia lol 😂
Oh, poor innocent Russia that performs attacks of this scale every week or two on Ukraine.
Telling Israel not to escalate is like telling the USA not to drop ordinance to secure oil. Just not realistic.
It's amazing how much restraint the world expects of Israel while turning a blind eye to those who attack them.
Quick note, you forgot to mention the strike on the Iranian embassy in Syria that started this whole thing
He's on someone's paycheck. "Them"
Western Hypocrisy as usual.
