Not sure you got max value at 13:30 like you said, betting 11.3 bb instead of shoving. You would have to get villain to call (or rarely bluffraise) twice as often facing that bet sizing to make it higher EV than shoving. Here I believe recreationals and regs too will often get sticky with any pair even when facing the obet shove, when all of the draws missed. Interested to hear your thoughts on this

That's fair! You could be right.
It's tricky when we have so much more than pot there - I'm not sure if I'm personally balanced if I OB shove river here as I'm not sure I bluff the same way but one to investigate for sure!

    Awesome video as always nick!
Would you recomend for intermediate players that want to make some money to focus on spin and go only or tournaments ? Also what do u recomend for players that want to improve , books , courses... ?

My usual response is, just play what you enjoy.
Becoming a profitable player is always a challenge but it's REALLY hard to succeed if you don't enjoy the format you play just because some guy told you "TOURNAMENTS ARE WHERE THE MONEY IS" (or whatever).
I started playing cash, loved it - then moved onto SnGs, love that - now I'm building my MTTs.
If you want to improve I would always start with your preflop ranges (for example: www.nickwalshtv.com/nwtv-shop) and then I would look for courses online from companies like BBZ or RYE or RIO alongside programs like GTO Wizard.

Big fan nick, in the K9 hand when you flat preflop and call a pot bet on the flop your range is 100% of weak and medium kings your never have 44 and any ace combos right? So knowing this and the fact that he was more aces than you the vilain can extract maxium valor regradless of the sizing it would even be better if he betted really small on the turn

Yes I believe my range is VERY capped in the way you are describing.
But they are also capped as they played their hand more conservatively preflop too so it's a spot where they can attack our X range aggressively.
100% agree their sizing is awful (which is part of the reason I try to hero call because no-one should or usually plays a disguised 2 pair like this).
Small bet flop - Small bet turn - shove river makes WAYYYYY more in the long run and is more balanced and will win WAY more vs player pool.
