I recently read an article by someone whose main musical interest is jazz. In this article she talked about the liveliness, the vitality of medieval music. Because of her article (I do not recall the title), I decided to listen to this. And I am glad I did. The music is indeed lively, even when there is a melancholy edge, and quite beautiful. Thank you for sharing it.
I dont like jazz or classics aftee 1700AD but medieval, balkan hits or folk, india, east european music, electro, hard rock and german rap(like mero) . But medieval music is favorite. Especially when i want to listen calm music.
That’s really interesting. Presumably, this was traditional, normal stuff to hear, and to think it’s this vibrant and creative and dancey. Greek folk music still sounds kind of medieval to this day, in that they actually kept a lot of the same sounds and melodies, and it’s also a very lively form of traditional music
What first introduced me to Medieval Music was a video game called Skyrim. Mostly those of the modern generation, like Gen Y and Z know about video gaming in general. Skyrim transported me to an ancient time where castles, villages, Dukes and Earls (called Jarls in Skyrim). The background music was heavily inspired by this. A few years later I accidentally stumbled upon this and immediately recognized it. This is amazing!

Thats is merely and not original , just the translation into the french language from the original in OCCITAN LANGUAGE, just adapted to modern day disgraceful narrative and ideologically, nationalist agenda, because back in the day these countries were part of the same european project with two languages, german and catalan
Played this one evening in a flat in Bermondsey and imagined it was 1030 AD in the First Middle Ages. No, it was 2030 AD as the dispossessed, the homeless, the Min Wage workers who could never afford a home of their own yet served and kowtowed and fawned all day to those who owned several large mansions, and yet paid rent to them too, rose up and marched across Londpon Bridge to Sack the City. And so began the Second Middle Ages.
It is a profound pleasure to encounter an album like this - speaking as a connaisseur of Medieval Music still possessing a vast collection of Early Music accumulated since my youth. Ensemble Ioculatores reminds me in parts of for instance Clemencic Consort, Sarband and Joculatores Upsalienses (and others). Bravo! Encore!
Played this in the lunch break at my accountancy office and suddenly the boss was a mediaeval King and I was a rogue Knight about to put him to the sword. Then must I flee to ye mountaines of the Northe 'ere the barons Rebellione Beginne....
Not just beautiful music, but also wonderful video. I have not been able to find the document you filmed. Is there a title to it? I found the site but the numbers don't ring up a result. Thank you already ! I would like to decipher this manuscript !
So blossen wir den anger nie gesahen. Can anyone tell me what this means and what the song is about please? If baffles translators. Something about anger and a bogeyman?
5:30 to 6:00 Heinrich treads at the slyvan dawn, axe in hand & wyf be gone, mist enshoud the thicket with dew when groans a frog in... didgeridoo.
this item we do not know tis true, the didgeridoo - but fie upon the winter grass and the hand bound with flowers of my lass

Mine is probably Black Metal. I like Soul Music and Funk though, could never get into Jazz. Blues is pretty good too.

Like a time travel it starts my working day with pleasure.
my deformed children perform special dances for me and my company while these masters of the lute and reed perform magnificently
Una joya. Gracias.

Another Work of Art by Miracle Man Mirko & Team. Shame on all dilettante who enjoy and don't donate.
once in my cups i summoned thee... oh plaintive dwarf who makes light of me
once, i was phlegmatic of much bile, yet there came a grin as my happy dwarf danced the while.
Come al solito, grazie
🌹
👏👏👏
Beautiful! thank you!
my fucking dwarves tumble to this like you wouldn't believe
the frightening mask of leaf and wood, tis no match for what my dancing dwarf can make good!
Not just beautiful music, but also wonderful video. I have not been able to find the document you filmed. Is there a title to it? I found the site but the numbers don't ring up a result. Thank you already ! I would like to decipher this manuscript !
Ma dove li trovi tutti 'sti dischi?... Grazie a te ed a y.t. per farli scoprire e riscoprire. Grande Lavoro!
the blind and feeble seek my bread, yet tis the spurned dwarf who gives me dread
oh dwarf of spite why hast thou taken height - i am only left wondring and shaken
So blossen wir den anger nie gesahen. Can anyone tell me what this means and what the song is about please? If baffles translators. Something about anger and a bogeyman?
It means: we've never seen this hill so bald.
Why too many comercials?
the reed does entice, and drums do sound - yet my traitorous dwarf is not so nice,; my stolen fortune has yet to be found
i am but a dwarf juggler - a handy lot they are, given their size... i've juggled others
58:10 sounds like hardcore dubstep to me.
Песни и танци
1h04 c'est quel morceau ? merci !!!!
as impudent horns sound the beginning of day, so does my forceful boot against my dwarven servants as they pilfer from me!
mind not the dwarf beneath your foot! let it stamp upon his skull in joyous refrain - hurrah, hurrah! a dwarf is but for amusement!
The remix will be even more Awesome.
staring at the starrry sky by night, i wrestle with my slaves to test their dwarven might
Les potes
This song makes me feel fat
