- This crochet towel ring is a modern spin to a crochet towel topper, that's just as useful. These cute towel rings are super quick to whip up, making them great for prepping for your next craft fair or vendor market. They also make a wonderful crochet Christmas gift, especially when you pair them with a nice towel and some ribbon or twine. Each set only costs around $5 (or less if you find cheaper towels!), making them a profitable market item and a budget-friendly Christmas gift idea. You could even add a wooden spoon or some other kitchen item, like a washcloth, to your gift sets.
Be sure to check out my blog post for the free written pattern, along with tons of other info about how I make around $32 an hour making these to sell at my craft fairs! You can find the blog post here: daysck.com/crochet-for-days/10-minute-towel-ring-no-sew-crochet-towel-set
To skip the ads and have a printable pdf of this pattern, you can find it for relatively little cost in my pattern shops.

In this tutorial, I am showing you a new crochet stitch pattern that I decided to dubb the "linked half double crochet". I am unaware if this stitch pattern has another name. It does look a lot like the herringbone stitch, but when I searched half double herringbone stitch, it was not the same technique as this stitch pattern. Let me know in the comments if you know the name of this stitch pattern, please!

Love these improvements you made from your pattern!
Great tutorial. You’re not too fast and explain nicely. I’ve made some for Valentine’s Day. I crocheted a heart, stiffened it, then put a clasp on the back so it’s removable. Really cute.
Thank you! That sounds super cute! 🥰
What a cute idea. I was going to purchase kitchen towels and items for my stepson who just bought his first home. I will be adding this towel hanger to his family's gifts!
It makes a great housewarming gift! ❤️

Great idea. Thanks for sharing.
Are you a mind reader? Last night I was searching for a towel ring tutorial and getting very frustrated. This morning, Lo and behold, a perfect tutorial appeared. Thank you so much!!! Just made one and it turned out great. I used Sugar and Cream in ecru. My suggestion is not to make the stitches too tight. That yarn can be a bear to work with. 🧸
That's awesome!! I'm so glad you liked it🤗❤️
Love it great tutorial!
Thank you!
Love that
Thank you!
Bravissima!!!!!!!
That nice♥️
I loved this tutorial! I knit towel holders for my sets but always find it difficult to add the bead at the end and hide the tails. I am going to try to add it mid project like you did. Hope I can figure out how to convert it to knitting.
Thank you! I wish I knew more about knitting to help you😕
Ot kinda looks like the herringbone stich i havent yried it yet but it looks like it
❤❤
Love the pattern!! The link you posted for the rings is for a different size (55mm). Is 70mm the correct size?
Thank you for letting me know! I just changed the link to one that is for sure 70 mm. I feel certain I chose a 70 mm before. I'm not sure what happened 🤷🏻♀️
Trying so hard to learn this one, but it keeps tripping me up and I can't sort it out, even following on half speed and trying multiple days. Is there a paper sheet instructions for this? I'm new, but for some reason I keep getting 7 stiches in the second row (when going over the button row).
Cant tell if *not* supposed to skip to the 2nd loop when turning around as directed, or if the confusion is going over the button loop.
The written pattern is free on my blog and available on Etsy and Ravelry as well. All should be linked in the description box under the video. I'm sorry you're having trouble😔
@@DaysCrochetthank you! I'm certain it's on my end- still very new to crochet 😅
Hi. What is the measurement of the towel in the gift? What is the brand name?
Thanks, jea
I'm not sure of the measurements. It's definitely not a brand. I purchased it from a dollar store in bulk. You can use any towel I would assume🤔
What do you do with it
You loop it around an appliance handle, button it to keep it there, then put a towel inside the ring to hang.
