Thank you for loving your dog unconditionally! I’m a navy OIF veteran, thanks to my service dog Master Chief I am alive today, she rescued me from the strong hold of PTSD and thought me what unconditional love is. I have a t-shirt that says “Be the person your dog thinks you are” You truly are that person
Thank you for your service and sacrifice! I'm an Army vet, my dogs aren't service dogs, but they help me with my ptsd. You can't break the unconditional love between a person and their dog(or any pet).
This is me! OMG thank you Dodo for featuring Coopers story, I hope it inspires others that are going through the same journey or something similar. Love everyone watching
What a story of resilience! You both are a force to be reckoned with! Also there are Alternative treatments that can also help in such cases such as Chriopractic care, acupuncture, red light laser therapy, etc. God bless you for giving hope to others.
The incredible devotion you share is a wonder to see! So glad Cooper has recovered so well for you both! I’ve done many things for my dogs, too, including the incredible water therapy. Thankfully, none were ever paralyzed by anything, but one came very close. Yes, we stay up w/them & do what’s necessary...even moving to the floor, to let them know we’re w/them every step of the way, as they are for us...Regardless of the circumstances. Just like God is. Dog isn’t spelled God backwards for no reason. They are the only beings we were left w/here, _completely capable of total, unconditional love._ ♥🐾 They remind us daily of God/Jesus great sacrifice & love for us.♥✝ I can’t wait to spend Eternity w/all my rescues, who, like Christ, gave their _all_ to me, from start to finish here.💜 Continued Blessings to you both!♥🐾🐾💜
I cannot stop crying. The two of you are a force to be reckoned with. Your love for each other can conquer just about anything. Bravo for you and your boy Cooper.
similar thing happened to our first dog in 2019. he ran up the stairs, yelped and next morning was immobile. took him to the emergency vet and they couldn’t really say if he would recover, he was 11 years old at the time. he eventually became incontinent and hind legs completely paralyzed. we nurtured and cared for him around the clock - he miraculously took his first unassisted steps exactly 2 weeks after his injury and had a full recovery. it’s amazing what love and faith can do. wishing you many more happy years like we had with our sweet boy 💜
He walked again because U were there when he needed U the most ! U never gave up on him and he knew it all along ! I cried when U decided to be in the bathroom with him … Such devotion makes the world a better place ! 🙏💙🙏
I had been having a horrible and stressful day today, but watching this video, I had the feeling that I could cope with anything, just like the wonderful Cooper. Thank you.
I think it's love that keeps em going. My 11 year old english bulldog, Aries, just passed Aug 16th 2024. He had kidney stones, a botched operation, and his health was failing (@ 6 years old). This year, they surfaced again. He was miserable, but again, the only thing that kept him going was his undying, unconditional, love. As life slowly left him, he'd perk up and give me a lil wag of his tail - almost trying to convince me that he's OK (even though I knew better). I laid with him, told him he had given me enough, that he was a good boy, and that he didn't have to stay, that everything would be OK, and that I would be safe. With that his breath slowly dwindled, until it became a rattle, and his heart stopped, and finally, his breathing. It's tragic, the heartbreak (i still havent fully recovered), but I'm just so very grateful to God for putting my lil Boogie Man in my life. Aries has taught me a lot about love - it's just an extremely deep concept, and infinitely rewarding. Love 'em while you got 'em, folks, one day they'll go back to their creator.
That's the approach to life, through love of every moment we get with them. With people too. Your heartache will pass and maybe, you'll get a different dog that will love you in the same way ♥
Omg. I am crying here. Not only for what happened to him but also happy tears. So amazing that you didn't give up on Cooper like the vets did. Thank you Taylor ❤❤❤
That brought back some memories. I spent many nights sleeping on the floor during health issues with my dogs. Never will regret the many sleepless nights taking care them.
I had an awful roomie whose dog was hit by a car and was injured. He wanted to be nesr her but she said he got hair everywhere and locked him out of her room. I spent so many nights sleeping on the floor next to him on the couch.
@@indianikit741 Bless you.💜 Why get a dog is the fur will bother you? Get one that sheds little to nothing, then. Poor thing.😔 Thankfully you were there for him.👍🐾♥
thank you for not giving up on sweet Cooper!! with your determination, love and patience he regained his strength and vitality to walk again. love knows no bounds. whatever he slipped on at the dog park didn't diminish his zest for life. so glad that Cooper made a full recovery!!
That is the true spirit of the warrior named Copper and his mom who took extreme care (sorry) it is called devotion with her beauteous heart and followed her instincts and saved the Cooper. Now She is happy and very proud of him by standing on his side. Upon seeing this vid, You two just made me have Happy-Tears at the end.
Yay Cooper!! I'm so happy for your recovery!! You have such a wonderful person to love and work with you and give you that life you deserve. Thank you Dodo, you're like a little healing machine for spirits and hearts.
I had a male golden retriever, Casper with the same condition as Cooper but with all four legs suddenly paralized. Did the same therapy, took him for walks with support for months till one day he can stand on all 4 legs again while i was putting on his support, then start to learn how to walk again on the weeks after. This video give me a reminder of the feeling when he can stand up again.
YOU did this, ma’am. With your commitment to physical therapy, as well as keeping his spirits and confidence up, you really did as much as your boy did. Very impressed. My Respect-O-Meter is in the 10+ Range, lady!❤
Such an inspiring story of resilience, faith and powering through together. Im very happy she didn't give up, but I'm sure that was never even an option for her. The vet gave me a similar prognosis for my dog when he was 2 and diagnosed with severe hip displacia, but we never even consider giving up. Today he is 15 and going strong, with his naturally leapy stride and jumpy legs. May God bless all dogs and the incredible unconquerable bond they have with their humans 🥲
Our chiropractor has reversed spinal injuries. My older dog threw out her hip and with a simple adjustment she was fine. Glad to see you kept your dog healing.
Such a heartwarming story. Thank you for this. There's nothing like a dog's determination coupled with the owner's support and love. You make a grand pair.
My 15 year old dachshund feel down the basement stairs. I was looking up wheelchairs online that night cause I thought he would never walk again. He was running around in the back yard a few months later. Bounced back better than I ever could have expected. I miss that dog.

Poor little angel!!!!!😢 Thank you so much for never giving up on him and helping him make a full recovery!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊 There's no better healer than unconditional love!!!
This gives me hope for my dog. He has an injured disk and is paralyzed from the waist down. He is on strict bed/crate rest (doctor’s orders). We have received lots of uplifting stories about how other dogs who went through similar situations ended up walking again. It had only been 2 weeks and we still have another 2-4 weeks to go, but my family and I are hoping and praying he will be able to walk again. We are covering our bases though just in case the worst case scenario happens. We purchased these shorts that he can wear so he will be able to pull himself along the floor using his front legs (the shorts will protect the skin on the lower half of his body) and a wheelchair. But all that aside, we remain hopeful he will be back to his goofy, playful self again.
When allowed, get him water therapy & laser treatments, too. Helped my dog w/her bad disks & arthritis from a car accident. In summer, she went swimming every day w/my ex. He gently held her in place as she went thru the leg motions. I had a sling for her too, to help lift & guide her walking. And would help hold her up when she had to ‘go’. Takes them a bit to get used to you doing that.... ;) The sling was wide, so it probably wasn’t the right one for that particular need. There’s different ones out now.👍 Prayers for his healing, & your hearts.🐾 🙏♥✝

It was wonderful to see. There are people that would have put him down. Sadly, a lot of people just wouldn’t want the inconvenience.
