In Australia (where I live) right now the government is currently sending out a non-binding postal vote (which is basically an opinion poll) to decide on whether we should allow gay marriage or not.
It is an extremely hard time right now as this legally allows the "no" campaign to put ads on tv talking about how we're unnatural and are endangering children.
I have been with my girlfriend for 2 and a half years now and seeing the videos and Instagram posts of you two makes us feel like we're understood and have support from all over the world.

people in britain always want to phone, but i've got bad hearing and the phone muffles everything so i spend the whole time guessing what they're saying and going 'yeah, yeah', and there's no mobile signal here so i have to stand squeezed behind my dad sleeping in his chair with the window sill in my stomach eagerly listened to by my mother in the one room downstairs, where the landline is, and i can't seem to convey to people that standing bent double, unable to hear anything, with no privacy, just isn't 'just as good as meeting up', for me, if it's not in the flesh, it's not nothing
