i absolutely love will ramos in lorna. he’s a beast with vocals and just a nice dude overall. im keeping up with everything he’s been doing and i havent been disappointed. im not saying one is better but i miss when cj was in lorna aside from all the drama with him. just something about cj’s stage presence was just so intimidating and fit with their sound so well

@@tjcthulhu Think about the band name lol. Immortal from Lorna, and Disfigurement from The Disfigurement of Existence by Signs of the Swarm, of which he is also a former vocalist of. Not very original. I can very easily understand why Lorna Shore didn't want the drama of the overwhelming cancellation that CJ went through, which to be fair. He was fucking crucified. The bottom line is to be successful.
The last minute of this song made my face curl into an expression that was a mixture of disgust and pure happiness.

I'm coming here from the bass scene (SVDDEN DEATH and G-REX etc) and I can honestly say this is the hardest shit I've heard in years.
this doesn't resemble the vast majority of deathcore.
This is just an honest personal answer to your question. As a metal head from childhood and person who today listens all types of music, I didn´t like deathcore before hearing "Whitechapel - Possibilities of an Impossible Existence". It´s really hard to put it in words but deathcore sounded like a angry children being annoying and whiny (This is just a personal feeling I get from it). When Lorna Shore´s Immortal album came out I was floored how tight the singer fit the band and made it a great band. But that fun didn´t last long. At least I have Fit For An Autopsy.

Dynamic vocals, multirythms, ambience, intensity, Lorna Shore is whatever a modern great band should aim for.
He has not the widest vocal range but he is special because he adds a brutality and rawness to his vocals and a vocal rhythm and even a clarity to his voice I have been seldom experienced in the entire metal genre
He does cool vocal patterns with lyrics too which is also super sick
I love cj and will, they both brought their own to lorna shore and I can switch between the two and still bang out, it's awesome.
That three way vocalist switch up was Genus for all bands.
Signs of the swarm got a great replacement but CJ is still a better, more heavy vocalist imo

For the exemple, my 2 favorite songs with Cj are Mouth Sewn Prophets and Nightcrawlers, but with Dave it's Martyr Unto Dusk and Celestial Ascendance, these songs are fuckin' heavy too, the highs are absolutely good and the growl/almost pig squeal are Crazy, and It's the same for Lorna shore now, the voice of Cj fits too

Man, the more I listen to CJ, the more I love him as a vocalist. In my mind, and I mean no disrespect to Eddie here, but I feel like if CJ had joined Suicide Silence they would have maintained the standard we were used to when Mitch left us. I discovered Lorna Shore thanks to their "...And I Return To Nothingness" EP and fell in love with their current line up and with their current vocalist Will Ramos, but man is CJ and the songs off Immortal just as amazing.

I like Will Ramos and hate to compare the two, but nothing will beat CJ to me. He was just completely untouchable in Lorna Shore. He just brings a heaviness that Will Ramos sometimes misses for me, even after To The Hellfire.
Will Ramos' biggest problem to me, is the fact that he focuses a lot of technique and has a lot of deliberation with the riffs. There's nothing wrong with that, however, one thing I miss about CJ is the fact that he's raw af. He's absolutely brutal and I will miss this line up forever.

So sad we won’t hear more CJ’s vocals with Lorna Shore. He was falsely accused on horrible things he didn’t do and lost his place in a band due to that. “Immortal” is still one of the best LS albums, even after new works with Ramos it’s clear as day.

I don't even know what the accusations r but i really love his vocals so this sucks
He seems to be doing a lot better now, he made a response video to all the allegations months ago and posts regularly on social media
