Thumbs Up to the Patreon WHO requested The WHO.
Pete Townsend, the lead guitarist, sings this great tune bro. One of my favorites from these guys!!
Its the only one that Pete's voice fits a Who song
And the lead singer (Roger Daltrey) plays rhythm guitar on this
@@johntarnowski9086 He does. I saw them live in 82.

I mostly subscribe to reaction videos, and you are my new favorite. You follow each song with your interpretation of the meaning, which means you listen to the song and dissect it. I'm really enjoying your effort.
Really dig your summaries.🤔💯👍
It was pretty on point.
Right on great depiction.
Great music keeps coming off this channel. God bless.
Love this song, and I felt the same about the meaning of the song, great reaction
Very good summing up my friend, eloquent and informative.
Keep up the good work.
Great funky beat 😎☮️
Yet another great song to listen to driving on a long stretch of highway. Crank it up!
Good reaction!
Excellent reaction you got it all spot on
This was bassist John Entwistle's last studio album with The Who.
John Ent puts it on with that bass
thats the Pinball Wizard with his back to us ...yup Pete singing on this one
Hey JM, I am Mark Tandle's son Mike. Watching your videos for over a year now. I agree with Dad, your channel is the best on YT.... YOU ROCK
I remember as a kid first hearing this on a cheap clock radio in mono, I really thought they were saying "living with sluts" instead of "Eminence Front". My dad thought it was hilarious . My mom.... Not so much. Anyway, great reaction to another Pete Townshend masterpiece
Lol😅 That’s hilarious !
The Who's best song ☮
Nahh, one of the best sure but not the best. There others infront. Just to name "My Generation"
The best ☮
One of the great rock bands in history, right up there with the Beatles, Stones, Led Zep, the Doors and Floyd, an one of my fave songs by them. As per yr usual standards, perfect breakdown of the song. You're the best! 💯
Really good synopsis of this song.
"The Kids Are Alright' Tour 1989... Rich Stadium Buffalo N.Y. What a show they Put On. Roger ran in place during the entire "Who Are You" song like he was being chased looking back while singing. He was 42 years old. Legends.
I met my wife at that stadium during the Frampton Comes Alive tour around 1976.
Great interpretation!!! 👍
Hell Yeah 🥃🥃 great song ✌️🤠
Happy to say my The Who collection has every album/song they ever released, as it should be.
So true. The WHO and every other classic rock band.
This one is a banger🤘❤️
Pete Townsend was on the cutting edge of audio technology.
Of all the musicians people say don't get the respect or credit they deserve Pete is the one. He's brilliant.
In a conversation about the best bands in Classic Rock history, the questions have this band in most of the answers.
My favorite from The Who !!! The LONG version is kickass !!!
Behind Blue Eyes...
isolate that bass line from the "the Ox" and really have your mind blown!
Love your reaction, even better than the song itself!!!
Always liked this song. Such a good rocker.
Your comments afterwards absolutely nailed it.
You should check out Face The Face and Give Blood from Pete Townsend's White City album and Free Me from Roger Daltrey's McVicar soundtrack.
Another 💥
Cover art: 1982. The new video craze is in full swing. Post-punk, which targeted groups like the Who as dinosaurs. The young kid is clearly ignoring the group - and he is not playing pinball nor is he a "wizard." - The group looks to the camera, a post Keith Moon Who: "It's Hard" indeed. Spot on commentary!
Did Pete consult you before he wrote this song?... You sure understand what it is conveying as if you were involved writing it. No surprise.
I agree with Dad.
Greatest Rock Band Ever
Pete!
WHO are these guys? They're pretty good, Just might have a career making Classic Rock n Roll if they keep at it.
"Whatever Contraption"..... It's Pete Townsend/The Who/Classic Rock so anything is possible.
It seems like with most The Who fans I know this song kinda is a split opinion. I’m ok with it, I always liked the intro…it’s a good mood setter.
You are one of my most favorite video reaction channels because I can tell that you are a very special caliber of person with high standards and unlimited potential; keep up the good work because it’s being noticed and appreciated.
Thank you!
@@JMBOYTV JM....you earned those comments
Check out pete townshends face to face
th-cam.com/video/5HTVMh7fur4/w-d-xo.html, JMBOY here's a live video of the Who in 1982 from Toronto Canada n they R playing Eminence Front. Check out Pete Townsend in his dance moves n his guitar playing. It's Awesome.
