@@amansrivastava7683 simply put. Absolutely. Considering its a Chinese author who escaped having to put Chinese nationalistic crap into fiction even after 1000 plus chapters, that's already a plus. But the H.P.Lovecraft vibe is awesome, if the animation stays away from the Forced humor of Chinese animation usually contains, and follows the source materials vibe, it's gonna be a great animation. Hopefully another breakthrough for fiction adaptations, like One Piece live action, I hope this is a good animated adaptation of a Chinese novel, it's got the hype and the source material is great.

The fact that they are working on it from 2021 and that it will continue till 2025 reassure me. And since they are working on it for so long, I hope that there will at least be 24 episode minimum. And i personally think that the volume 1 should be at least 48 episodes so that everything could be done properly.
Well there's a high possibility that 24 min ep gonna take ±300 eps, while 12 min one gonna take ±650eps I think they gonna change most of the text in the novel into a visual form, which only took ±5 sec of showing before the real dialogue and stuff

Have you started reading LOTM? I only have 9% left but would read another 8 or however many volumes there are. LOTM is definitely not perfect, especially the too fast pacing near the end. Some potential was sadly squandered. Still, it's really hard to find a more engaging and fun story than this one.

@@clownman9404 lord of the mysteries, first book is fully translated 1400ish chapters, second book is around 200-300 chapters currently. It is by far the best web novel for me, a masterpiece. The first book takes around 200 chapters to build up, then things go out of control you can't work, can't sleep, can't do anything but want to finish the novel.

@@anthronox4992 the light novel has 9 volumes so I guess they're going to adopt the 1st volume and probably release another season. but i'm not entirely sure since they're showing MC's magician persona from volume 2 or 3 and a fight scene from one of the final volumes. Volume 1 was the shortest for about 130 chapters, since its a tutorial version of the world building with a bittersweet ending. I seriously don't know where they are going with this cuz it looks like lot of things have been cut. Just hoping for the best

Looks really really interesting! Graphically though is it AI assisted or something? It's oddly blurry and the frames seem to blur into eachother as if to suggest image generation or frame interpolation? (drawing X frames, getting AI to fill in the gaps to make it look 60fps for example)
came to comment this too. it seems like it's interpolating frames to stretch a 25 fps video into 60 fps. it also seems like the video was upscaled to 4k using AI because the art and edges around objects look terrible. I have read a lot of great novels such as LOTR, Sherlock Holmes, HP, etc. But none of them comes close to this novel. Definite No#1 for me. This better be good. FYI, Shadow Slave is at No#2 atm.

The first book takes around 200 chapters to build up, then things go out of control you can't work, can't sleep, can't do anything but want to finish the novel.

Judging by the end of the trailer it looks like he will get to the clown sequence, honestly it's rather surprising, given how long it takes him to move from sequence to sequence in the novel, about 100-150 chapters, I hope they won't just gloss over everything

I'm gonna read LoTM after RI but I know that LoTM is at least above 1200 chp. Aren't they gonna cut out many things to summarize it into 24 episodes? But, in those 24 episodes, they have to complete an arc too. If you're a LoTM reader, can you tell me how long an arc is? Can they compress it into 24 episodes?
If not, this is gonna turn out bad.

@@anthronox4992 the light novel has 9 volumes so I guess they're going to adopt the 1st volume and probably release another season. but i'm not entirely sure since they're showing MC's magician persona from volume 2 or 3 and a fight scene from one of the final volumes.
Volume 1 was the shortest for about 130 chapters, since its a tutorial version of the world building with a bittersweet ending. I seriously don't know where they are going with this cuz it looks like lot of things have been cut.

Looks really really interesting! Graphically though is it AI assisted or something? It's oddly blurry and the frames seem to blur into eachother as if to suggest image generation or frame interpolation? (drawing X frames, getting AI to fill in the gaps to make it look 60fps for example)
came to comment this too. it seems like it's interpolating frames to stretch a 25 fps video into 60 fps. it also seems like the video was upscaled to 4k using AI because the art and edges around objects look terrible.
