Gorgeous! I love Cannon Beach! There is another Haystack Rock further south on Highway 101 at Pacific City. I don't know if you still can (it may vary by season) but you used to actually be able to drive down on the beach.

Canon Beach is one my favorite beaches to go to. I used to go there periodically when I was in college in Portland. It is so peaceful there.

Did you manage to see the waterfall at hug point? It's north from the parking lot beach around the rock out cropping. You can get around at low tide.
