Thanks for a great episode and for answering my question! I’m really struggling to hear and practice listening to my emotional / head hunger to stop restricting without letting it devolve into binging and the idea of staying here for six months is quite daunting but I want to recover and time flies. It’s hard because I want a daily plan like meal times but it’s hard to feel allowed to eat outside of those without losing control. Aggh this recovery stuff is hard sometimes 🙈
Hi Amy! It's hard and it's nuanced. Head hunger has it's place in recovery, it's not all bad the way we learn that it is. Six months does often fly! We hope we can help as you move through it.
@@iamstefaniemichele thanks so much Steph! You’ve both already helped me a ton by introducing me to IE which led me to start this journey! Your videos have been at the core of my IE and binge recovery education and I just really want to thank you for making all this amazing content ! I honestly don’t know if I would have believed recovery was possible without you both. And thanks so much for answering my questions! Wish you both all the best xx
