Australians should be commentators for every sport, always fun to hear them.
ICC should consider rewarding spectator catches by awarding catchers a new ball signed by 'Man of the match' at the end of match. I think it'll make atmosphere more exciting. A cricket ball doesn't cost that much.

Some of these catches reminded me of that Cincinnati Reds fan that once caught a ball while holding a baby in his hand. The catch was so insane that the fan that caught the ball got a chance to be interviewed by a local Cincinnati TV station

What do you mean by "played all the matches"? Every team played all the matches some may have been washed out but each team had to show up for it.
Probably it should have been a highlight of a match.

The same ball is used for the entire innings, unless it is damaged or lost. The age of the ball plays a key role in gameplay when it comes to bowling/batting as well. (ie. a ball that is 5 overs old will travel/spin differently than a ball that is 40 overs old)

No you wouldn't. Y'all don't have the technique or patience for cricket. Baseballers don't bounce the ball when they pitch, the skill is not transferable. You'd have to spend decades to even get close to professional standards of play and even then you'd get your asses kicked by everyone else whose been playing for well over a century.
