the kid at 5:54 diving down a row of seats to make the catch might be the best of all time
Coaches be like: Give that kid a contract!!!
props to the dude that helped catch the kid so he didn't get hurt
The kids better than the A’s
Agreed!
@@TheComedicCubeYThey now ...
that last catch by the kid was truly remarkable. Catching two foul balls within a matter of minutes.
From the same batter too. Man time flies, that kid ain't a kid today realizing that's Josh Hamilton so this was likely late 2000s early 2010s.
@@gabrieltorres7596I checked and that kid is now 53
And he held both in one tiny hand like a boss 😂
The chances of that happening in the same at bat are astronomical. I tried doing the math and my computer self detonated.
The probability of that is astronomical!
1:53 that kid and his bro are going to argue about this for the rest of their lives.
"I saved you. You owe me your soul."
"I've been telling you for 40 years, I was tracking that ball right up until you threw your glove in front of my eyes."
"Nah you owe me."
phenomenal comment right here
That last one seriously brought a tear to my eye. The sheer odds! Two great grabs by the kid! And that call from the announcer - "Beer, baby and baseball" - what a game!
I loved that the crowd gave him a standing ovation
A beverage, a baby, and a baseball. ⚾️ great line @4:50
Sounds like an ideal night to me
Kid at 1:52 probably saved his bud from what would've otherwise been an expensive hospital visit; champ stuff, baby!
For sure. I'm completely mesmerized by this one, I have no idea how he did this.
I think he blocked his buddies vision not allowing him to see where it was honestly. I watched it on playback at .25 speed, so
@@katharina... Ditto. He braced for impact when it passed through his hands, baffled why he somehow wasn't in pain. Who reversed time? What happened? lol
Dental for sure 🤣🤣
Facts!
2:40 “this is where dads preform” 🤣
Such a unique aspect about baseball. Loved the announcers calls of these
how can you say its unique when the exact same thing happens at cricket matches
@@bobbygee1771because cricket balls don't move as fast as baseballs. Also cricket is awful
Yeah I had the same thought. To all those that think baseball is boring, they need to be shown this video
I’m fully convinced that if you catch a ball in your beer cup, you have to chug it. Even if it spills all over you it’s the right thing to do.
For sure
I feel like it’s just an unspoken rule at games
@@DCGZombiesdefinitely a rule idc lol
Never underestimate a dad with a beer in his hand and a baby in a joey pouch.
If you fielded a team of players who were all dads wirh beers in one hand and a baby strapped to their chest it would be unstoppable
That catch by the cardinals fan at 1:55 should be way higher, that is actually incredible...
Watching a kid make a nice play on a ball at a big league game and get a cheer for it, is what its all about 🇺🇲
Amen brother 🇺🇸
I bet the guy holding the kid, while he caught the ball, had a strong talking to by the mother when they got home. 😂
You mean his ex? lol. I hope not and no, that's not a reason to leave someone.
@jarodmorris4408 What is this assumption? If that was my kid and my wife, did that I'd certainly be angry. That's an incredibly high risk of dropping the kid
you mean the dad who stretched way out over the railing?? 🤪
1:59 kid just saved his friend from years of surgeries!
Smiled all the way through this video😂
Love when the fans gave a standing o to the kid. That was magnificent getting two catches.
1:57 kid really saved homie from getting a nose job fr
" A beverage a baby and a baseball" brilliant 😂
2:40 This is where Dads perform 😁........... 3:10 Great play minimal spillage 😅.......... I love these commentators.
Baby strapped on, beer in one hand, catching a screaming foul ball in the other ~ these are the real heroes 😅🤘
I'm British and have zero interest in or knowledge of baseball. But... I could watch these all day. 😂 I said to myself on the last one, great, once in a lifetime memory, then he catches another! 😂 Brilliant
3:25 Phil Kessel w the one handed snag lol
When I was a kid I was at a Phillies game in old veteran stadium and it was mostly empty but there was a high pop up that looked like it was going to nail this guy that was walking with both hands full of food on the catwalk between 2 sets of bleachers. Everyone was holding their breath thinking this guy was going to get hit in the head and drinks and food where going to go everywhere. Instead the guy puts all his food down and catches the ball in his hat. The small crowd cheered louder for that than they did for the whole game.
Those dads were the true definition of “I could’ve gone pro”
Honestly - the whole monologue about Dads performing - was just wholesome.
I'll admit it. There is an actual feel-good moment involving Machado now. Never thought I'd see the day.
The crowd going nuts is what makes this video awesome!!!
Love the anticipation of hearing the crowd.
One baby, one baseball and one beer…now that’s an epic fan-catch
What I truly love about moments like these is that these may be the moments that cement a love of a sport in a young fan's heart. A kid who liked baseball might change their whole focus after a great catch like some of these.
If you ever think you're decent at catching fly balls, just remember there are middle age dads beer in hand bare handing 97mph foul balls unexpectedly and not being paid a dime to do it.
In baseball, even fans can play, and that's beautiful!!!
I love this so much. Just pure joy
Truly I wanna know the odds of that kid catching 2 foul balls in that quick of succession 😂😂
I don't watch baseball, but this made me happy. Thanks YT, God bless all who read this.
A left handed back hand catch whilst not spilling your beer is definitely a lifetime goal 👌
In July 2017, I was with my camp at a Scranton Wilkes-Barre Railriders game and I caught a foul ball cleanly off a ricochet with my glove. Everyone went absolutely nuts at my catch. I was at the back of the section my camp was sitting in so everyone had a great view of me making the catch. I made sure not to lose the ball even all these years later. Whenever I play catch with someone, I always use a professional baseball. I have a few other ones.
the audio in this vid is crazy!!!! The sound of a baseball hitting a baseball bat...IS Americas Passtime.
6:41 what’s so amazing about that?
7:00 holy sh….
I love the fact that when the kids get the ball (everyone really) all the fans are cheering and the people who almost got it are cheering as well and high fiving!
Server falls down a step and drops an order at 4:23. Left hand side first row.
Good eye
The most entertaining part of any baseball game ever.
A Baby, A Beverage, A Baseball..... No Problem! I got this...
That was wholesome af.
Love seeing everybody get so hyped when it happens. Humanity
That's amazing! Last play, 2 consecutive foul catch! Wow boy! Buy the lotto!!!😂😂😂😂
What are the actual odds of the same person catching a second ball in a game in the same spot? Wow, I'd give him a standing ovation too!
Hits it to Rick Vaughn 😂
Literally better than actual baseball.
if we could bottle that feeling of catching a ball in the stands, we’d have flying cars and teleporters in most places.
Seeing all these random fans catch the ball with one bare hand and the other hand full. I think the athletes should go bare handed now.
I was at a Mariners game in the Kingdome when attendance was maybe 30,000 so no one was seated in the third deck. A few intrepid fans were up there anyway, trying to walk away with some souvenirs. One guy was on the left field side above the dugout, and he caught three foul balls in one inning!
best one yet. great work!
THAT GUY WITH THE COWBOY HAT THOUGH!
What a cool compilation. That young fella snagging two ? : standard deviation, and some God-light too.
More please, that was awesome
This just makes me realize how dangerous this would be if you're not paying attention, or if you can't catch, and get smashed by a ball.
He's got a beverage, a baby, and a baseball lol that was an all timer
The catches are more entertaining than the game, lol
The guy who was next to the cowboy hat had proper etiquette
Wasn't over zealous about chasing it into someones personal space Respect
4:23 that poor lady almost fell... 😂
MISSING! July 2021 game of Diamondbacks vs Giants. Dad catches a ball while juggling a baby and a beer!
That one should be NUMBER 1
Some of these are more impressive than the players catches. No gloves, holding a beer, holding ur baby, minimal spillage. That take some special skills.
😂 I was watching this game when he made the catch BRAVO 👏🏻
Not even a fan of baseball but some damn good vibes here.
I caught two fouls balls in one game what I didn’t realize that was my lifetime limit. Not one foul ball in over thousand games has even been close to me.
Were both on a fly right to you, or did you have to move for one of them? Just curious
@@timothybrown5999 well I was kid so I was seat hopping when the ushers were not looking lol. One was caught in Lower reserve and the next in Lower Box. It was at Candlestick in the mid 80’s.
@@dwaynepeterson3927 that’s more of what I expected. It’s still impressive, but much more of an anomaly in a packed house than a mostly empty Stick. That’s where I went to my first game too, in 87.
@@timothybrown5999 my first Giants game was at the Stick in 1979. Giants vs Astros
Great videos!
When he arrives at the gates of heaven, he is greeted by applause from all the angels for that one glorious best moment of his life when he caught the foul ball with his baby in the other hand.
Nice! Thank you MLB.
Kid saved his buddy from a broken nose.
Nah there was one where a dude was holding a baby and snatched the foul ball from the opposing team’s player. That’s the best one ever.
Dang, great video!
I'm two catches in here and listen alright, Byrnes has to be in this.
This is wholesome
I feel like I should be on here I caught a playoff home run on da fly
Very Awesome Video!
Man dude holding a baby just to catch a foul ball over the railing seems so wrong to me why risk it? lol
3:29 BALLS OF STEEL
That first guy is better than most of the White Sox active roster
How can you not be romantic about baseball? Great highlight reel
I love the mlb so much
Has anyone ever been injured or worse? I would not be surprised if it has happened before.
I found this video very entertaining and enlightening. The catches were great - the empty stadiums show another story. Get a clue @MLB
“Keep getting better” ??
0:34 pretty amazing
Phillies dude was yea babe i told you I could of played in the pros 😂😂😂😂
This is so good.
This is so cool to watch and also nice that they can keep the ball. In soccer they are that pathetic to take away the ball from kids and throw them out of the stadium.
The first time they showed the kid I thought it was a really weird ending to the list. When they showed the kid again I understood lol.
4:43 that should be #1 !
3:25
Phil Kessel’s not only a goal scorer I see.
Ok the last Kid should make a bet in lotto
I went to a Dodger game a few years ago where a guy got 2 foul balls, and nearly got a third!
2:05 okay she wins. no hands!
Or does she lose because it’s not an actual catch? 😅
still a major W, hole in one as the commentator says it
Wow the catch was made by the cup and the lady was just there to collect
Expensive drink though 😅
They should institute a rule stating if a fan catches a foul ball, the batter gets a strike..
The phillies have such a nice stadium
SPORTS MAKE AMERICA COME TOGETHER
1:54 saved that kids teeth.
1:55 if that had hit what kind of damage would that have done?!?
They should be out when a fan catches a ball with no glove😂😂😂😂
6:21 big man moment
