This video saved my family and I. Our LG refrigerator hasn't been working for more than two weeks. After asking New Leaf service contractors to uphold their warranty they assured me they would. The waiting period is terrible and to think that when u purchased the LG french door refrigerator I made sure to purchase a five year warranty (folks don't waste your money on these refrigerators just buy a simple one). So, after calling their service provider A & E who doesn't care at all about their customers all they care about is money. I paid the diagnostic fee but the technician still couldn't fix it. The technician ordered the part .When the part came in I decided to call A & E and they said that it would take another week for them to come and fix it. so, naturally I fixed it myself. warranty services thieves A & E another set of thieves.

George Gilles I wouldnt advise you to buy korean brand refrigerators. They tend to be flashy and all but when it comes to quality they are very very poor at it.

What is the correct position of rhe microswitches on the board?
My control panel on the front of my GE Profile PFSS6PKWBSS goes crazy. It beeps and the digital numbers flash, sometimes for a few minutes, other times for hours. Will replacing the main control board help this problem? I don't notice a rise in inside temperature, but I try not to keep opening it just in case. Thank you in advance.

Hello, my fridge is an Fridge: LG French Door Refrigerator - Model # LFX25960ST - when I plugged in my fridge, the ice module is flashing on and off, and the ice dispenser mechanism is also making a open/closing noise. Do you think my main board is broken? Or is the the ice main board module is broken? Thanks for the video tutorial.
After watching your video, and listening to the fridge, when I powered it on, I do not hear the compressor starting and the ice dispenser mechanism is just malfunctioning (making a open and closing noise), so I think my fridge is just not powering up, because the board is somewhat damaged.
My LG LFXS24663S ...has a problem...The front panel that lights up and tells the temperature...ice cubed or crushed...change filters...etc. Is always lit up and never goes off. It won't give ice or water...because the fridge "thinks" the doors are open. I cannot get the filter change button to turn off...even though I went through the motions. The water intake/ outtake works fine and I ran a test on the ice dispenser. All fine. What I am wondering is if there is a problem with the control board and if I swap it out for a new one will it function normally again? The refrigerator is just over one year...manufactured in October 2015 purchase November 2015.... Any suggestions?

I have a LG side by side model LRPSC2331T there is no access panel on the back of the refrigerator for this model. Where would the main control board be located on this model? The fridge is freezing up and called to have a repair man come out and check it. They wanted $500 to repair it which I think is quite steep.
Whish is why you're usually better off bying appliances that have the fewest bells and whistles. There's less to break down.

The pleasure was all mine. Unfortunately after doing all that was instructed the refrigerator is still not operating. only time will tell at this point.
