Allan Bloom introduces the "Difficulty of Nietzsche" 1

This is the first in a series of 10 segments. This recording was rescued in 1994 with the help of Father Flannigan and Father Fortin. Fortin was a genuine friend to Bloom. There was the true Communion of the Spirit. Therefore, this series is dedicated to his memory. (It is better in fact than saying Kadish for Fortin.)

There are many. It is not easy to find time to transfer them to digital and upload them appropriately presented. there is also: Bloom on Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, Tocqueville, Flaubert, and some others. These are all excellent, I have given an oath to the gods eventually upload them all - if I am not sent to Hades too soon.

Mr. Bloom can be recorded as the first person to point out how Nietzsche (through his own thoughts and those German students he influenced and who influenced us, Freud in psychology, Bernay in Public Relations, Weber in sociology and so on) who founded major expatriate has played probably the most important role in framing the prevailing pathos of modern popular American socio-cultural predisposition.
