Honored to finally see Alan Bloom on film... read COAM on a summer day when I was in college. So cool to feel an intellect shared a lot of ideas that I had about the realization that Nietzsche's prophecies were being fulfilled via the American Education system.
Did I just spent 10 minutes of my time listening to someone using extremely many words (and hand gestures), without saying anything, but that he was thankful for his own education? Hope his book was better. Otherwise a leaflet would suffice. Feel kind of sorry for his former students. Try not to fall asleep here.
