"Long time watcher, first time commenting, but I have to say I love all your videos. As a deer hunter down in Melbourne, I have seen dogs in the bush on many occasions and truly admire what you are doing. I have seen how cunning these guys can be on sheep farms down here, and I take my hat off to you and your skill set." Love all your videos keep up the amazing content..
Every time you come across a dog in a trap Clark I hear the excitement in your voice, but sometimes I reckon that the dogs already know that something is about to happen before it does.
As always a pleasure to watch you at your work and when things start to work out it’s a great feeling mostly for you as your getting the results you’re needing and also for the landowner but for us too who are watching your amazing channel, I’m from farming background and know only too well what damage dogs can do to livestock and have had to shoot a dog in the past that was worrying sheep on our family farm due to visitors not controlling their dogs and it happens all the time today. Again a great video and best wishes from North Yorkshire 🇬🇧
Clark I am mesmerised by your videos, your tracking knowledge and love of the land. I laugh at how some people say what would a dog trapper know about world events etc when you have the guts to lay out your views. I tell you what you know - common sense, you know when you are being bullshitted to by politicians, hypocrisy, hard work, family man and your care for animals. Keep it up. Simon Brisbane.
yep find where there getting water& pinch points or trail the dogs are well using...the scent on these dogs is how the communicate these vast distances ..A dogger gets into that pattern of commication.. With all our lures & markings
With some people, myself included,re country tracks,we drive slightly off the worn track,to say prevent erosion, level the surface etc, good practice, cheers Clark.
I think ,in every dog you get is a success ,not just in the rewards you get for doing your job but also as a win for your patience .not to mention the calf’s/ cows and wildlife that benefit from it.
Great work mate, love your trapping videos. Been watching a year or so. I help a few land owners around the Atherton Tablelands with the rifle and thermal but one of these days i think ill have a good go at trapping. Very informative and inspiring watching what you do mate keep up the good work.
Just love your work and videos and experience shared I'm sorry that I couldn't afford to join your patrons channel believe me if I could I would. Your an inspiration for Australian hunters and Australian people who live in the bush and many other countries ❤..
Gday Clarke been watching a fair few of your clips lately after a mate introduced me to it and love it. Just moved to the QLD between Ipswich and gatton and if you ever need a hand I'd be keen.
G'day Clark, great video as always. I shed a tear when I watched and learned about Skunk just recently he was a bloody good boi and reminds me of my Trigger, loyal as hell and my best mate. Curious as to how you invoice the landowner. Is it by the day, by the scalp etc and what (roughly) do you charge. I know locally here they shoot under thermal a fair bit but I think your skill set gets the ones that remain out of sight. If you consider the percentage of ground covered with thermal against having a passive thing like a trap, I would think the trap would win to be honest.
G'day Clark. Thanks for another informative video. Great to see Mossy doing so well. Are Bunje and Brandy from the same litter? Keep up the good work. Regards Mark from Redlands.
Mate, I’m an Aussie that is stinging for a bit of property management when I come back to oz from the uk. If you are serious about people helping. I would do it for a place to stay for a few days. Old drover/farmhand style, a bed for some work. Where abouts are you, looks like north west New South Wales but I’m guessing by your accent it’s perhaps not nsw. Anyway. Keen to spend a few days shooting & setting traps, or pigging with dogs etc etc… fences, damn maintenance etc etc… let me know mate.
Howdy from Texas! Great content. I have learned a lot of tips and tricks for chasing coyotes here. I run a predator control trapping business protecting sheep, goats, deer and exotic game. Good on you mate!
What scope are you using on the CZ? I found your channel as I recently got a CZ 452 FS with a nice mannlicher stock, the first video of yours I saw was the one about your CZ. Your use of the .22 lr is impressive in these trapping videos.
A well known pest controller in our area of Yorkshire once said to me ( dogs learn now't in kennels lad ) that's stayed with me all my life so far " how right he was . 👍
I can see a couple of dozen traps about to be ordered. What do you recommend? I'd have to say this is a challenge that's up there with hunting a deer... Really enjoy the content and you teaching the trade...
Back in 1970 when I got out of the navy, I almost went to Australia with intentions of living and working there. Don't know why I didn't but I didn't. Little late for me now and I'm stuck in a liberal state that I don't like at 76 years old. Enjoy you and the dogs.
Hi Clark, how come the dogs are only getting pinned on the toes ? I would had thought they would have been pinned further up the foot when they stand on the pan. Do they hear the trap going off and react very quick by pulling their foot away ?
Hello from New Zealand, Good job on doing what needs doing, wouldn't be a bad lifestyle I reckon. I have 10 acres near a rubbish dump on the edge of town, have nailed a fair few feral cats and stray dogs over the years, and sheep goats and even a horse...I understand how you train your dogs, I have a team of foxies for rat hunting, it is a bonding and respect method of teaching them. If you ever want a side kick...just kidding, keep up the good work...
I get so excited when you pull up to a set to check it, I'm also a trapper. I trapped as a teenager and into my 20s then life happened. Now I'm 69 YO and trapping again. I would love to go with you on your trapping expeditions someday.
Nice to see you had a successful program on this line. I'd love to do a hunt or open gates , is your government still checking to see if visitors have the jab ?
G'Day Clarke,,The old man, God Bless him,,would say pateints boy,,they move a round and are just not here today,,lets see what to-morrow bings,, many a day spent fishing just to get a Roy(the" Big" "0") next day same tree and bait,,couldn't keep a line in the water,, it will be what it is,Best laid plans,
Congratulations, Clark, four dogs is like a century in cricket. Your modesty and persistence is exemplar, well done, mate
Clark, I support you 💯 % Michigan!!!
Well done! 4 dog days are amazing!! Working the process.

I'll be your able to bring us more thank you sir.
experience is everything--when looking at tracks can tell you most everything--hello from the USA--enjoy all that you do-thanks

You won’t go wrong with Border Collies, well “you’ve” proven that for sure. 🐕👍

An old Leupold 3-9
Nothing worse than seeing a beautiful calf marked or should I say, scared by a mongrel dog
Good work Clark. Was that black dog from another family group and are some of those still possible around?
Same pack, just a less than usual colour. Just trapped a caramel dog last week.
Keep up the good fight Clarke. Still enjoying your content.
Clark , at the risk of showing my ignorance, what is the bottom half of a scope mount on your barrel used for ?
Will do an explanation clips soon. Used to mount a red dot laser there so I could shoot quickly as part of an eradication program I was doing.
Nice 👍🏾
I reckon your dogs are more intelligent than some people I know.
Excellent job getting those mature dogs off the scene.
A well known pest controller in our area of Yorkshire once said to me ( dogs learn now't in kennels lad ) that's stayed with me all my life so far " how right he was . 👍
Well said 👍
Nice to see the pack thinned out a bit.
Great vid al always clark
Another good video
Gee good video though sunk was gone maybe you had lot footage of traping .mossy is a lovely little dog .
I can see a couple of dozen traps about to be ordered. What do you recommend? I'd have to say this is a challenge that's up there with hunting a deer... Really enjoy the content and you teaching the trade...
Thanks mate. I personally love the Jake's but some of the MB line are crackers

Good to be in touch with you. Same story for me with the US, love your country
Lot of hard riding for good reward. Well done.
Hi Clark, how come the dogs are only getting pinned on the toes ? I would had thought they would have been pinned further up the foot when they stand on the pan. Do they hear the trap going off and react very quick by pulling their foot away ?
Usually toe catches are the trap scratchers who pull their paw back across the pan
Is this a run of Skunk's greatest hits?
Not yet but it will happen
Always enjoy trapping Tuesday. Man trying to outwit the wild dogs.
Well done Clarke, property owner should be happy about that
You need a bear trap if you want to catch trucks

Set the trap in the middle of the road.

Border collies from my own line now for 35 years but with a very small% recessive gene from the Aussie Koolie
J.C. CONNER, not CONNOR. Pay attention to detail, Clark!
