So they surveyed about raising prices and removing treasure hunter, proceeded to raise membership prices without removing treasure hunter, and now want to charge for additional features, most of which are basic in other games, AND PUT ADS IN THE GAME?! All while still keeping their predatory loot boxes. Holy fuck
“Would you like to pay for additional security measures?” You mean something that should be in place, for all accounts, for free? Like pretty much every other game/service out there? Imagine you signed up for a gmail account with google and they said ok but to protect your account with a password you have to pay. Also, the fact this is for both OS and RS is incredibly concerning, they’ve shown time and time again they only think of RS3 players as bags of money and will milk them at every opportunity but the fact they think they can do this in OS too means this, in some form, is coming. It’s just about gauging how far they can push it while still maintaining the whales.
Accounts do not belong to the players, otherwise Jagex should pay compensation for all hacked/lost accounts during those years, especially mod Jed period.
@@wildhunt806 Even so, account security should not be behind a paywall. Compromised accounts can compromise people's bank details, log in info on other sites etc.

@@thecaptn420 Very true, i had played before back when shadow reef(i believe) was alright money making method( i think it was called trash run or something?) and stopped a bit after that, returned to the game about half a month before they released necromancy and god did it make the game super easy, started being able to just afk certain bosses for money when you'd need soul split at least to do so before. The new crafts made making money super easy which made rare drops and bonds way too expensive for the average joe. Oh and then there's the halloween treasure hunter with 100m masks that dropped like crazy and that 1b mask
@SwiftXQ the economic effects aside, necromancy basically said, is the game to hard/ grindy? Here's a skill to get you to end game content in a month, oh and your stronger then any 1 else who grinded 100s of quest and thousands of hours on same tier gear that can't keep up with necro

I haven't played RuneScape 3 in over 2 years and whenever I took the time to check on updates in the game it's almost like the devs are testing my resolve to not play the game frequently and spend less on it yearly.
This is batshit. I love Runescape to death, but there's no way I'm paying these prices. When I filled out my survey, I remember stressing the need for a basic customer support system that WASN;T tagging them on Twitter and hoping they get back to you. The fact that that's a payable upgrade option that's being considered? Eat my entire ass, Jagex. Ads within a membership you pay for monthly is also insane. I only have one character, so I wouldn't need to pay for the upgraded option of 4 characters, nor do I have time/energy to have more than one character. Why the hell would that mean the most cost effective membership is the one character option for RS3 but I get ads, sorry. :( Unreal.
Project Zanaris (Community servers) is already a thing for OSRS as well that is in development. Jagex is already going to charge server hosters for that opportunity, but this also proposes charging the players to join those servers which means double dipping for an update that was teased as free to the general player.
Oh my GOD. I'm a DayZ PvP player, and seeing them introduce the idea of community servers is sooooop fucking ridiculous. That shouldn't even be an idea. That would ruin everything RuneScape is supposed to be. Edit: Protoxx, for the love of GOD. Community servers are not a 'cool' idea. Not for RuneScape's content.
Been playing this game all my life. Can't believe to see where it has gone today. I am maxed with quite a few 120's. I have just canceled my membership. I encourage everyone to join so jagex gets the message. This is ridiculous!
I've been grinding to see the game through to the end, and I had hopped I'd get to comp before something like this occurred. Ads are a plague. Ever since TV died with millennials, and everyone cord cut ads have spilled into literally every space they could fit in, and I'm so fucking tired of it. If I see a product in an ad I immediately believe it's just garbage, and I see an ad as a company begging me to buy the product. I don't see them as informative, interesting, or useful in basically any way. Nothing I use regularly do I ever see an ad for. I just go to a store, and buy the version of soap/sheets/clothes/food that I want, and move on. How are they effective? Who the fuck is seeing an ad for Dr. Squatch, and thinks, "Damn, I haven't used soap in 3 years. Probably should start again by buying this insanely expensive $7-9 per B A R (ew) soap that will absolutely not cover the same # of showers a $7 bottle of liquid body wash will." I hate this more than I think I've ever hated anything.
I feel your pain. I quit 2 years ago and I was considering to return to hit 120 in some of my childhood favorite skills, to honor the memory. I followed news and updates and slowly saw the community get more upset. This is the final nail in the coffin. The game I believed couldn't die is about to put its second foot into the grave
Jaqex is about to border the line of "Fk around and find out" phase. If they actually go down this route what's going to be needed is a boycott and they are NOT going to like that. Now the next question is would the players actually boycott the game, I hope they would because once Jaqex sees their greed is killing their game they would have NO CHOICE but to listen to what the players want!
Too many no lifers walking about being arrogant about their fantasy character they* spend 14 hours a day on that will pay any amount of money just to keep pretending they’re hardcore.
The real issue is chasing quarterly growth in a game with a shrinking/stagnant player base. They have to start growing their game otherwise they will have to perpetually increase prices to cover for quitting players as well as additional profits. Eventually the prices will be so high that it'll kill the game entirely. I quit for about a year and just came back at the start of December, I finally got 120 all and if they implement ads I'm ready to walk away for good.
It's amazing to me that people don't realise that this isn't jagex but the equity firm behind these decisions. The sole purpose of these firms is to extract as much value and discard it. Quitting does nothing as they only care about turning short term profits. Ubisoft is a perfect example. You think the equity firm cares that it went bankrupt? Nope.
This is Jagex attempting to increase year over year profits despite a dwindling player base caused by years of neglect to the RS3 community. Rather than try to appeal to a new younger generation of new players, they're further going down the 'milk the existing playerbase' route.
to be fair, these types of games will probably never cross the minds of kids and early teens, even then, things like Roblox and Minecraft are so all encompassing, they never really play any other game than those two (except when their favorite content creator plays a game for like 2 weeks and leaves it) MMOs in general are either 1. too big to get into (the "I think it's too late and there's too much stuff to do" feeling whenever someone hops from one big MMO to the other) 2. too complex unless you go through a guide, which younger players will not want to do, since they expect the game to do that for them 3. predatory and incredibly grindy (RS3 ever since those damned treasure hunter keys were conceived) this situation sucks, but personally, I don't really see where new players could possibly come from, if not from OSRS and other MMOs, since RS3 is incredibly niche and obscure compared to its counterpart
Which makes you wonder. . . If you can get premier for 20 Bonds, and there's a plan to give "complimentary bonds" every month, that means you'll need to grind for just 8 Bonds per year, meaning you can pay for one year and pay the other just with bonds. But again, if this goes through I don't think premier prices will stay at 20 Bonds. Good thing the Pokémon ROMHack community is alive and doing well, this could serve as a safe haven while Jagex sorts its sht out.
this is absolutely outrageous, what they trying to do with our beloved game . never enough for them and they say they listen but they dont give a fck about us the players at all for years.
Have you read Jagex response to the negative feedback of this survey yet? It's...interesting. They said "There are no plans to include ads in the base membership or to make ad-supported options a significant part of the game. We understand your concerns, and we are reviewing this feedback closely."
Yeah, don't be innocent my friend. What that response turly means is that, they're listening to feedback but won't necessarily heed it. Let me translate it for you (and everyone else). "Calm down people, this is just a suggestion, we MAY or MAY NOT implement this in its current form, but we will definitely offer some of these features as additional "content" depending on your subscription tier, you can continue to pay and play as usual, we'll honor grandfathered rates too, but the option to "upgrade" will be there for those who want it". That's what the survey response said in plain layman terms.
We've witnessed the same cycle so many times... 1) Jagex introoduce a bad update/suggestion 2) Players get angry 3) Modify the bad update where it's still bad, just less bad 4) Players think that Jagex are listening to negative feedback 5) Jagex release a banger update 6) Players are pretty satisfied with the state of the game 7) Jagex introduce a bad update/suggestion... The only time I recall them seriously listening and taking action on negative feedback in a way that appeases everyone is the hero pass where so many people cancelled membership that they actually removed it from the game. That ultimately set development back several months because they had to take the time to remove the feature from the game. If history tells me anything, we need to vote with our wallets, and for real this time.
First time? Sorry... Second time? Uh... Third? hmm.... Fourth time? Dang, is this actually the fifth time? What do you mean you need both hands to count?
I miss the time when we actually got value for our membership.. like just by playing you would be guaranteed something for your hard work. Oh a new rare well everyone gets one requirement to login 15 days in a row, and no lotto playing. I understand they need to make money but they don't need to resort to scummy underhanded means to squeeze every penny out of the handful of players that are still on rs3. Wonder what kind of impact these changes if any made would have on Oldschool and the players there.
I play osrs and believe me Reddit is going nuts. Every world I am is talking about it and my cc too. If they push this through in any kind of shape or form there will be a mass exodus and I don’t think osrs will recover from that.
Just cancelled my sub, unsubbed from the reddit board, and unsubbed from every RS creator I'm subbed to except this one, which is the only channel that actually calls out the insane greed. I feel awful, but the numbers need to change so that Jagex feels it. I recommend unsubbing from RSguy in particular, even though he is an absolute treasure and I love him to death. I want him to start being more vocal about this kind of stuff by feeling the repercussions of what his employers are doing.
I unsubbed when he banned me from their discord for making an “there’s no such thing as a girl In RuneScape” joke, entire “woke” community jumped me over it lol. I told them I wasn’t sorry for a long time joke running in rs, they told me “it’s time for change” and banned me lol. The game is a joke anymore.
This is actually devastating news. As of recent I have been able to afford a 12 month package and play whenever I am free throughout the year without any pressure of worrying that my 1 month sub will run out. Plus this came with a bunch of other ingame rewards for almost half the price vs for regular 1 month sub over the year. When I have finally found joy in completing the end game, these news are demotivating me to play... Jagex always seemed to care and come around for the players, but this is as you said, disgusting
People trying to defend this game saying its not dying, you need to recognise all this shit is to squeeze every last penny they can out of the remaining players...
It's not dying because there's still content being actively developed for it. I think people should learn semantics before even trying to argue about the state of the game. The game is bleeding out more players than it gets, the game is aging at a fast rate and it definitely shows, the balance is all over the place and the player's retention is becoming increasingly difficult every year. But that's completely different to saying the game is dying, because for all intents and purposes, the devs still put out content on a monthly basis. Once they stop doing that for good, that's when people would agree and say the game is starting to die off. But not now.
Jagex has become the most detached group of greedy business people. It sickens me that we, the players, are being punished for faithfully loving a game for so many years. +20 years of my life were enjoying this game and it seems to be coming to a extremely quick end if Jagex goes through with any of this.
They will, this is just an advance notice. But is likely they won't alter any current membership, thanks to the player's outrage of this week. If anything, they'll put these packages out there, but let people keep their current billing models. In other words, nothing will change, the only people affected will be new/returning players, and that's the main issue here, nobody would want to play RS with these new membership models.
"Non intrusive" Pops up a 5 minute ad during a HM/Max enrage bossfight right in the middle of the screen or it's gonna be the same as the F2P banners at the top of the screen The fact that it seems to be randomly generated in the survey where it only has some features for the prices is even more insane. The modded/community worlds and the complementary bond sure add an option for maybe $2-5, everything else should be included on the existing price since most of them are things that should've already been on the membership
You're selling yourself for so little there my friend.... The Avatar Rework is cool but not THAT cool tbh, fashionscape is definitely, definitely not worth whatever Jagex is advertising here.
security options? so Jagex thinks I should be more succeptible to being hacked if I don't pay them more? that's so Jagex OSRS or RS3? for more money and ADS? yeah nope. instead of focusing on how they can milk their existing playerbase for more money without offering anything Tangiable maybe they should focus on making more people want to play the game. More people=more money. Make a Runelite alternative for RS3 and I'm sure it'd make RS3 way more popular for players and Content creators than currently. LIKE GIMME QUEST HELPER!
They do this, I quit. period. Jagex can enjoy squeezing the last bit of money from the remaining playerbase before going (hopefully) bankrupt. They obviously don't understand what the playerbase wants or outright ignore it. We've given them too many chances as it is. Everyone sticks around because of sunken cost fallacy but even then that will only work to a point.
See, heres what gets me: the whole thing contradicts itself. Its stated VERY CLEARLY: "Everything in your current membership is the baseline for membership packages" Diminishing my gameplay experience by showing me ads, or, ahem, RESTRICTING THE PLATFORMS I CAN PLAY ON AND THE QOL FEATURES. Is a worse membership package than what i have right now. If you want to offer more stuff for advanced packages, fine, dont care. But you cannot say that our current membership experience is the "minimum" or "baseline" and then list like 6 things that would actively be worse than that baseline. Honestly i feel bad for dude in the video. Ive had to be the scapegoat for hate that should be pointed towards the higher ups and it sucks, but holy shit what a disaster.
It's really a 'nice' coincidence that yesterday, for the first time in 4 or 5 years, I've decided not to renew my Premier Membership. Take a *REAL* break from the game... y'know? ... but then today I learn about... this? Wow... just... wow... I've kept coming back to Runescape and loved it for way too long. I really feel it doesn't deserve it anymore. 12-ish years wasted. "Lmao at myself", i guess.
Yeah, this reeks of the corporate greed, and it very much sounds like the new owners of Jagex, are looking to figure out what the best way is to fuck over the players more so they can gain more profit... This isn't a long term holding company, this is short term big business idea. Squeeze as much out of the customer as you possibly can, the problem for those fat cats is... Jagex is more open than most companies, and they're putting it on display what the big wigs want, which is something I'm grateful they're doing, because the community feed back allows them to push those people back, that is... As long as the people who are in the position of power in Jagex are on the players side, and not on the pockets of the owners.
The first image that had a "cheaper" price has membership for OSRS and RS3 decoupled so if you want to play both games you need 2 memberships instead of the single one you need now
This is why I am not and never will be a fan of an investment firm owning a game business. CVC Capital Partners bought RS in 2024. All price increase start going to the moon in 2024.
The only special server world I care to be added, are those based on character's account age. 5 year world, 10 years 15, 20, and soon 25. Not players age. Account age.
yeah, that’s the crazy part. they’re killing the golden goose and don’t realize that the guy who raised the golden goose… is raising another golden goose right next door. we come for the golden eggs, no one wants to eat goose meat jagex!
This is just classic Jagex style. They are not planning to do these suggestions at all, they just make a totally over-the-top proposal at first and when it brings the unavoidable backlash, they "listen to the community" and back down from the original plan. Then they will only increase the price a little bit because it seems reasonable compared to the original idea and everyone just accepts it. This has happened multiple times over the years and it's a classic corporate tactic
Man, this is actually disgusting. I agree with you on basically everything, especially the community worlds. I feel they should do those similar to how Path of Exile has their private leagues. They have a limited number of slots you can pay for, you can pay for an increase in slots, and you can extend them by like 10 days at a time. You can also setup crowdfunding so anyone can donate their premium currency toward funding it.
Additional security features actually explains it wel: Pass keys = Physical authenticators, OTP = Google/Microsoft/etc... authenticator, and the last one will be backup codes or something i assume
Can i just ask Gagek one thing? What's wrong with having all those features like we already should just like 95% of every other mmos have and have pricing similar to this. 1 Account - 9.99$ 2 Accounts - 17.50$ 4 Accounts - 27.50$ 8 Accounts - 45.50$ Im fully aware that they need to make money but WoW membership is like 13$ a month and you can have like 8 characters that run off that one membership, plus you got game masters, Blizzard support and everything else to go with it, and yes i know its not perfect but its better than Jagex, what do we have, Pmods that mute you for saying shit? un-respectfully fk off Jagex. I finally feel like iv picked the wrong game after these 15+ years, Thanks for nothing Jagex.
Both subreddits are up in arms over this and I do NOT blame them. This is a fucking joke. You want ads Jagex? How about a 'support us here!' and make the ads OPTIONAL! Watch a few extra ads via an in-game npc that opens a link for you, maybe get a rune coin here or there as thanks for keeping the game alive. Jagex ROYALLY fucked up this time.
A game you pay to play should not have ads in any way shape or form. Even suggesting what you're saying just gives them wiggle room they should have never had in the first place.
@@rushyrusch What I'm saying is rather than the shitty surveys and such that we have for runecoins, do what adventurequest does. Pay for a guardian account? No more ads, no more restrictions. But if you WANT to get extra gold, xp, or z-tokens (their version of buyable currency), you can go to an obscure section of the game where you can say 'i'd like to watch ads' and get a few extra coins to rub together. Right now the surveys don't even work half the time. If Jagex is ADAMANT about putting these sorts of things in, then do it in a completely optional manner. What Jagex is proposing here is intrusive no matter what they say. The way AQ does it you have to go out of your way to actually see the ads. That's about as 'unintrusive' as it gets, unlike what Jagex is proposing.
It should come as no surprise. We've been down this road before. Just last year, in Feb of 2024, Jagex was purchased by CVC Capital Partners Fund VIII and Haveli Investments from the Carlyle Group for £910 million. New boss, same shop. There has always been a investor problem with Runescape with their parent company wanting more and more. This is why the squeal of fortune (and all the microtransactions, really) happened in the first place. It's a 30 year old video game supported by money-obsessed investors who know nothing about games. Inevitable, really. Business decisions like this are the only reason the game still lives. That being said, though. This is staring down a slippery slope. If this gets out of hand, it WILL affect all of us. Imagine only the £25/month option having no ads. This could be growing pains as we adapt to the more expensive world, or a nail in the coffin.
@@ffwast that would probably be the funniest situation ever, though I think we'd need to be a company before we all can just buy Jagex also, no, unless we all have a collective 1 billion quid of money to spare
If this was to come through as a new update for membership I would just give the game up. With the cost of living sky rocketing and they have the nerve to even ask if any of these are okay???? It’s pure greed they are killing the game that we all grew up with and it makes me feel sad but also extremely disappointed. I’ve been playing for 18 years so I have seen a fair amount of changes to the game. This one could be the final blow for me many others
If they add adverts to a paid subscription, in any capacity, I will call it a day on a game I never thought I would. There is only so much you can put a community through before it breaks.
they sent it to osrs players too (from what ive seen online so far) oh and community worlds is already coming to osrs with Project Zanaris which is probably why thats in there at all
I think one thing these "since the beginning" player have in common, is the lack of originality. I swear you're the 10th person who says these exact same words on this video alone.
lets be real, if they are asking this sort of question there is nothing we can do to stop them going ahead. they'll do it because they are already set on doing it. enough is enough, i cannot have any hope anymore that the game is going to get better, this is the people in charge telling us they WILL milk us more and more no matter what. there are SO many other games that will respect you, your time, and your wallet a million fold more.
they 100% know what they will be doing, this survay is just to see how far the can push it. If you think that Jagex cares what anyone think's then you are mad, they are a company who are interested in making as much money as they can, they will introduce some form of this - it is just how bad it will be is all. thanks to you and your video previously they changed the daily login / buff etc callendar that many many people thought was a good idea, but I can honestly say this time they will not be listening, they will 100% be introducing some form of this scummy scheme.
A fellow PMD Enjoyer! But no, the track in the video is called "Cave Background". PMD Tracks are a bit more active, dynamic, joyous, the track in this video is unusually quiet.
Didn't see a comment mentioning this while quickly going through them but look at the top of the banners. Sometimes it says "OR" and sometimes it says "AND" between OSRS and RS3. So they might consider to split up the membership while not realy decreasing the price which is kind of a price increase considering you wouldn't be able to switch between the two games. Edit: Saw it was mentioned on Reddit and in Inits video, gonna leave it here tho

You mean something that should be in place, for all accounts, for free?
They also want you to pay for "enhanced customer support", and by enhanced they probaby mean any kind of support at all. Absolute joke.
@@wildhunt806 Even so, account security should not be behind a paywall. Compromised accounts can compromise people's bank details, log in info on other sites etc.

Necromancy was their attempt at that. Made it easyscape
There goes another half of the player base... Jagex is greedy af
:( Unreal.
Profit margins of 40%+ BTW. They REALLY need that ad money to pad the 90% of profits that are going to the shareholders already.
I've been on a break from RS for quite a few months now, glad to see everything is going well lol
Probably should start again by buying this insanely expensive $7-9 per B A R (ew) soap that will absolutely not cover the same # of showers a $7 bottle of liquid body wash will."
I hate this more than I think I've ever hated anything.
Nope.
Honestly i think most players would do it from what ive seen... Honestly ill just play a private server to get my fix lol.
This is Jagex attempting to increase year over year profits despite a dwindling player base caused by years of neglect to the RS3 community. Rather than try to appeal to a new younger generation of new players, they're further going down the 'milk the existing playerbase' route.
to be fair, these types of games will probably never cross the minds of kids and early teens, even then, things like Roblox and Minecraft are so all encompassing, they never really play any other game than those two (except when their favorite content creator plays a game for like 2 weeks and leaves it)
MMOs in general are either
1. too big to get into (the "I think it's too late and there's too much stuff to do" feeling whenever someone hops from one big MMO to the other)
2. too complex unless you go through a guide, which younger players will not want to do, since they expect the game to do that for them
3. predatory and incredibly grindy (RS3 ever since those damned treasure hunter keys were conceived)
this situation sucks, but personally, I don't really see where new players could possibly come from, if not from OSRS and other MMOs, since RS3 is incredibly niche and obscure compared to its counterpart
So glad i let my membership run out between keeping up a bond being a chore and being maxed dont see myself playing anytime soon
Loving the whole politician thumb-fist shaking he's doing, a dead give-away someone is bullshitting you when they do that.

this is absolutely outrageous, what they trying to do with our beloved game . never enough for them and they say they listen but they dont give a fck about us the players at all for years.
Have you read Jagex response to the negative feedback of this survey yet? It's...interesting. They said "There are no plans to include ads in the base membership or to make ad-supported options a significant part of the game. We understand your concerns, and we are reviewing this feedback closely."
Yet, they closed the survey already. So we can't give them any 'feedback' anymore...
Their response smells like bs
1) Jagex introoduce a bad update/suggestion
2) Players get angry
3) Modify the bad update where it's still bad, just less bad
4) Players think that Jagex are listening to negative feedback
5) Jagex release a banger update
6) Players are pretty satisfied with the state of the game
7) Jagex introduce a bad update/suggestion...

Wonder what kind of impact these changes if any made would have on Oldschool and the players there.
At this point the membership is just not losing access to what membership paid for over a decade ago.
I play osrs and believe me Reddit is going nuts. Every world I am is talking about it and my cc too. If they push this through in any kind of shape or form there will be a mass exodus and I don’t think osrs will recover from that.

Bringing ads back into the fucking game after paying years of membership way back since old days to play without an ad border.
Disgusting.

"Non intrusive" Pops up a 5 minute ad during a HM/Max enrage bossfight right in the middle of the screen or it's gonna be the same as the F2P banners at the top of the screen
The fact that it seems to be randomly generated in the survey where it only has some features for the prices is even more insane. The modded/community worlds and the complementary bond sure add an option for maybe $2-5, everything else should be included on the existing price since most of them are things that should've already been on the membership
Incredible how far Jagex has come since their $5 members, absolutely no mtx model.

security options? so Jagex thinks I should be more succeptible to being hacked if I don't pay them more? that's so Jagex
OSRS or RS3? for more money and ADS? yeah nope.
instead of focusing on how they can milk their existing playerbase for more money without offering anything Tangiable maybe they should focus on making more people want to play the game.

Diminishing my gameplay experience by showing me ads, or, ahem, RESTRICTING THE PLATFORMS I CAN PLAY ON AND THE QOL FEATURES. Is a worse membership package than what i have right now.
If you want to offer more stuff for advanced packages, fine, dont care. But you cannot say that our current membership experience is the "minimum" or "baseline" and then list like 6 things that would actively be worse than that baseline.

It’s like they’re trying to see who has the best idea to piss off their already dwindling playerbase
The fact they spent effort making this survey instead of addressing the MTX situation like they promised months ago says enough.
Can i just ask Gagek one thing?
What's wrong with having all those features like we already should just like 95% of every other mmos have and have pricing similar to this.

This is probably not their real plan. Theyre probably going to roll out what they actually want to make it seem more "reasonable"
Really makes me wonder, between the entire runescape playerbase could we come up with enough money to just buy jagex ourselves?
@@ffwast that would probably be the funniest situation ever, though I think we'd need to be a company before we all can just buy Jagex
also, no, unless we all have a collective 1 billion quid of money to spare
If this was to come through as a new update for membership I would just give the game up. With the cost of living sky rocketing and they have the nerve to even ask if any of these are okay???? It’s pure greed they are killing the game that we all grew up with and it makes me feel sad but also extremely disappointed. I’ve been playing for 18 years so I have seen a fair amount of changes to the game. This one could be the final blow for me many others
“When someone tells you who they are, believe them the first time”
If they add adverts to a paid subscription, in any capacity, I will call it a day on a game I never thought I would.

But no, the track in the video is called "Cave Background". PMD Tracks are a bit more active, dynamic, joyous, the track in this video is unusually quiet.
Time to start your videos with "grab a cup of coffee, stand up, infuriate, and riot!!"
I think community worlds is specifically referring to project zanaris for Oldschool runescape, not RS3 at all.
Wild they thought this was a good idea
That assumes they have the ability to think at all.
Perfect timing for my Premier Membership to be renewed

Imagine if Netflix proposed charging an extra $5.99/mo for customer support?
Each day we get closer to Ready Player one and idiacracy
This is wild. Surely a Jagex mod is reading this feedback and scrap the idea before half the player base dips
If someone with two brain cells to rub together was the one making the decisions we wouldn't be having this conversation in the first place.
