  • In this video, I explain how to identify bass with your fish finder in less than 10ft of water. I give tips and instruction on how to use side imaging (side vu, sidescan) and down imaging (down vu, downscan) on your bass fishing sonar / electronics to find bass that other angler will miss. These tips work for Lowrance, Humminbird, or Garmin graphs and will give you an edge over other anglers. Hope you enjoy!

Another tip from NC, to upgrade your bite on the shaky head use a magnum finesse worm or a larger worm.

Man your videos amp me up. I still suck at graphing for offshore fish and what to use to target them but I do enjoy your knowledge.

Always learn something from each video you put out! What was causing you to lose fish on your football jig?

Subscribed. I really like the videos explaining what to look for when using SI and DI...very helpful. I’m in the process of getting the LiveScope now so I’ll be studying your videos on that too. Good videos.

I believe that the idea behind black worm is it looks like a shadow so it can work in stained water or very clear water. Good for both.

Jonny, Another tip from NC. you need to trade that Triton in for a Champion 210 like you rode in NC. I thought you were going to fall overboard. LOL. Enjoyed your video. Hope all is well!

Jonny, I bought your new jig yesterday from Jewel's website. Most of the lakes where I live have 3 to 6 ft water clarity so I went with PB&J color. One of the things I appreciate about this jig is that you designed it with 1 weight to choose from and only 4 colors. This makes the choices simple for simple guys like me. Lol!!!! Cant wait to get them and go catch some fish!!! Great video too! Keep up the great work man!

Enjoyed video and information - thumbs up. That said - finding those bass looks difficult even with you doing it which probably translates to no chance for a novice bass fisherman like me. Seems like being proficient with finding these bass would take tons of time and experience on the water. Maybe I am wrong - just a thought. Thanks!

I would definitely agree with that. It took me 5 years to get confident finding fish on my side imaging in these shallower depths. I would stick to down imaging to find bass if you’re just starting out

When you are showing the fish on the side scan, I notice dots on the black water column that correspond to where you say the fish are on the side scan. Are these fish under your boat?

I was watching another guys fishing video and I don't even remember his name or the name of his channel but he is just some random guy guy fishing nothing special at all. i actually got bored and left the video early but I noticed he had 272k subs. I have no idea how he has so many with his plain, just fishing videos....you are 1,00,000 times better with very knowledgeable content compared to him and you are only at 72k subs. You should have a lot more....fish the moment and that other fishing channel with Tim and Matt are the best top 2 fishing channels on TH-cam. I don't get it....but you're killing it!!!-

I am liking your videos, however if you didn't fight the bass so hard and let the rod and drag do the work you mightn't drop so many, it seems to be the american thing to do ripping fish through the water.
