Getting over my fear of working with Epoxy...

  • On this project, I've collaborated with Ecopoxy to test out their new FlowCast epoxy system. With it, I hope to get over my fear of working with epoxy resins and all of the potential pitfalls that come along with them. The Flowcast epoxy system advertises itself as a deep pouring epoxy with the ability to release trapped air bubbles as is it cures. Does it hold? Let's find out.
This build was sponsored by Ecopoxy. Find out more about Flowcast here: www.ecopoxy.com/products/flow...

i don't think i'll be watching anymore - I watched at least 5 ads.... well skipped mostly. i watched a couple as i do with most channels.
but 5+? when there is a paid promotion, so there is already income going to the channel.
      nope.
plenty of other good channels out there that get by just fine w/1 or 2 ads.

I came across this video by chance, TH-cam recommended it I’m so glad I did. I love the combination of wood and resin especially in furniture, as an Architect I can say this I the best table DIY built I ever seen. Its elegant, simple, sophisticated and the same time it has an industrial feel. I'll definitely buy that table if it’s for sale. Great job bro! wish you all the best and keep safe…

Such a gorgeous table, also a beautifully shot and explained video! Subscribed!! Some tips for spraying. Keep the nozzle of your gun at 90* to what you are spraying, pull the trigger while you are off to the side of your project and move in a consistent motion and distance past your project. Release the trigger once you have passed your project. Try to avoid the misting or sweeping L R motion while over the project, this will help reduce heavy spots and hazing in your finish. Also check the Product data page for your product, not all of them need to be thinned to spray, some actually advise against it.

Love the style of this versus the quite common river tables made with slabs. I'm going to heavily steal your idea and make an L shaped desktop in this style, with black Epoxy.
I wanted something modern and not organic looking so this looks perfect. I have nowhere near the same amount of tools or experience though, so hopefully it'll come out good.

Love it, next time when you pour epoxy after 20 mins come back and look to see if you have bubbles if you do use a heat gun, small torch or blow dryer if u choose to use torch only torch for 2 or 3 seconds bubbles will pop the heat pops bubbles for the next 3 hours you need to keep checking for bubbles.
