absolutely- if the Fever gets by Conn and then hangs tough with the Liberty - that will be a huge ratings boon for the WNBA because as we know- once the Fever is eliminated... no more audience. WNBA season is over until next year.
I got the Lynx as the 'sleeper' team. I don't think they are the absolute best but they definitely command respect. I think the Fever will get by Connecticut and that will be as far as they go-- THIS season. The Fever next year... #1 seed
McNutee should be fired immediately. These are fake 'cute" TV personality types but not any one to be taken seriously at all. . I know these channels have been hurting the last 20 years to find "analyzers" for the W and had to settle for these ex-player "cutie" types but they have to up their game now. They need more Cheryl Miller, Lobo and Lieberman types. Molly and Mcnutt, Chiney, Swoops are just outmatched in modern days. They are becoming un-masked as not just haters but incompetent at their jobs. I stopped watching the W 20 years ago bc of all the air balls and players looking very awkward when they shoot and very un-agile for the most part. Anyone who watches AR shoot a basketball can see she looks very uncomfortable out there whether it is an easy layup, easy 2 pointer from 8-16 ft etc. I feel bad for her actually. CC is so smooth and she just does it all with passing, quickness and she plays like a dood. Like Stephen A said.....shes the best pure shooter Women's College ball he has ever seen and i know it hurts these older players but grow up ladies and be happy bc CC helps the W immensely. Just bc some one is an ex-player does not mean they automatically are good coaches, teachers, announcers or analyzers.
Minnesota came into the season with Vegas saying 14 wins and they won 30 games! + 16 turnaround with no 1 overall picks? Phee was the 6 pick overall. They didn’t get mentioned
Nothing wrong with Fever defense as long as they Dnt have to play against officiating crew. All the fake fouls slow them down and give those ol ladies time to catch their breath
