This is on iOS these days as well. Art software on iPad is in a really great place these days for those who have one lying around. That apple pencil is grossly expensive though.
Have you tried the watercolors in Fresco? Would love to see a comparison with Rebelle 4. Edit: from what I've heard so far, they both have their strengths. From what I know personally, it does appear that watercolors are better in V4 & the oils painting, isn't too bad either. It could use a palette knife tool though; unless I'm missing something
You mentioned Rebelle. I just bought the upgrade to V4. Its good, really good. Fair warning, it has a few bugs but, based on their history, it will be fixed in short order.
Really awesome demo in Fresco! I tried it already a few times on my iPad but I had a hard time figuring out the oil paint brush... I found it very hard to control the color mixing :( any tips on that?
I use a combination of smudge brushes and opening a new layer, lowering the opacity so that I glaze over the image. After I get my feet wet on the app I will post more detailed video about how I develop a painting.
@@GouacheArtist thanks for the reply! I’ll be waiting for your new videos on Fresco :) keep up with the great content, I’m a fan! Greetings from Germany
Thanks for this video. I've been very curious about Fresco! Edit: are you doing a Fresco trial or do you plan on renting it or getting it part of the Photoshop package? I'm still running CS6 suite but, it doesn't work well with my Surface Pro 7, I just got as a present. I HATE renting software but, nothing comes close to Photoshop for what I use it for (editing). I'm asking because, I am considering just getting the Photoshop package, which Fresco comes with.
I subscribed to Adobe because I use a lot of their software. I wok on my PC ( I gave my Surface Pro to my son a while ago- I was never really happy with it).
@@GouacheArtist ... I hear you. I'm actually a certified Photoshop master. I've been clinging to my CS6, I hate renting. Maybe this explains why I ask you about a lot of other software. Aside from Photoshop & Fresco (which I wouldn't mind having), I really only use illustrator & Indesign. That's where Affinity comes in. I actually like Affinity Publisher better than InDesign & Designer vs Illustrator is a toss up. Both have their strengths & weaknesses. Anyho... Thank you for always replying. I really appreciate it. More so because I am a big fan of your art. *Wishing you & yours a safe & healthy holiday. Ttys

True. I wish I could dabble in Procreate but I refuse to buy an iPad just for that one app.

Good stuff dude!🎉
Glad you enjoyed
Thank you!
So good I just got into using fresco and this video is so helpful! How did you get the reference on the side?
The photo, which I took myself was added to the video in my editing software.
Nice! I’ve subscribe to your channel.

Rebelle 4 is up next. I am so looking forward to the new version of this app.

It really is a great app. I am continuing to work with it and explore the other brushes.

Won't work on Android. No adobe besides Reader works on a Android. That's why I'm switching back.
