I have autism and I definitely see neurodivergent traits in Robin.

I think Robin's neurodivergency really clicked when i saw the scene where she was complaining about her clothes. I'm not professionally diagnosed but i think I'm neurodivergent and being overstimulated by clothes has always been a very big thing for me.
a character that i think is probably neurodivergent is bakugo from mha
    love your videos :)

My little brother has issues with clothing and issues with their hands touching certain materials and it's one of the many things that make me think their neurodivergent. I've told them that too and then they started to suspect themselves. lol Really like this this serious tbh, because being neurodivergent shouldn't be something shamed and should have more open representation as much as any other traits people have.

I’m autistic and I head canon this DEEPLY

I loooooooove talking about this cause autism/neurodivergency is a long-term special interest of mine and stranger things is currently a hyperfixation of mine, possibly even sneaking into special interest territory, and of course, robin is my favourite character!
One thing i want to mention is we even see Robin's mask start to drop at the end of season three. The best example of this is when she starts rambling about something when El hurt her leg to which steve says she's not helping. I think its possible that going through the traumatic experience with the russians and being drugged took a mental toll on her meaning she couldn't/was struggling to mask anymore at that point.
Also, I personally think Robin is a perfect example of the auDHD crossover. I have both, and i see a lot of myself in her, except i'm not quite as verbal, all my rambles happen in my own head or through writing lol. Anyway, it bothers me slightly when people say she JUST has ADHD because it brings forth an issue that is happening a lot in the adhd/autism community online right now, where autistic traits are being co-opted by ADHD people (I could go into a whole other ramble about why this is happening, but in short, because the combination of the two is so common but adhd is easier to get a diagnosis of, many people with adhd have autism but don't realise it, and end up blaming their autistic traits on adhd, which then spreads online as more people start to do that and then autistic traits become adhd, so on so on). Robin herself explicitly states she doesn't have a strong grasp of social cues, which is NOT an ADHD trait. ADHD people may miss social cues by being distracted, but they understand them, but the way robin phrased it suggests she doesn't always understand them. Also the way her sensory issues present are much more indicative of autism than adhd, since sensory issues in adhd present as distractions - they're bothersome because they're distracting - and on the whole sensory processing in adhd often falls more into understimulation than overstimulation, while autism is the opposite - people more commonly fall into overstimulation than understimulation. Robin is frustrated about wearing nancy's clothes because they're itchy and uncomfortable and are overstimulating, not because it's a distraction from something else important.
Also, I recently just started reading the rebel robin book, and while its not canon to the show, it's close enough, and Robin is definitely written as autistic in the book. She shows instances of sensory sensitivities:
"I spin the pencil, feeling every one of the six edges on my finger."
"It's nice of her, I think, to volunteer like that. To save me from whatever humiliation was waiting. But the bang of her chair was a little too loud and her hair looks so red and I'm really, really overwhelmed right now."
She also seems to have an evident special interest in languages. This is definitely a special interest above a hyperfixation as she uses it to process things around her. There's one moment when she's riding her bike home and is listening to her french tape, repeating every phrase, which could be echolalia and/or stimming. She uses languages and her tapes to escape.
(Context: she's talking to her mother about her parents past and her "origins" which of course is about to head down a very awkward route, before...)
"I put my hands firmly over my ears, jump up to my feet and remove myself from this blatantly unacceptable situation. In my room, I throw on my metallic headphones, and click the Walkman back on. French tape 2, side 1, "Greetings and Goodbyes" comes on, but the soothing monotone of the woman's voice saying "[various french phrases i cba to type out]" just isn't doing it right now."
There's also the fact that she mentions several times that even within her friend group, she feels like an outsider a lot of the time, which is common for autistic people - no matter who we surround ourselves with or how close we are as friends, there will still be times we feel like an outsider.
And all of that is just within the first 13 chapters that i've read so far.
Anyway, I think that's all the ramble i have in me for today. If you read it all, congratulations lol. As you can tell i'm very passionate about this topic so thank you for making this video!

OH ALSO Maya Hawke is (apparently) dyslexic, and I heard somewhere that in writing Robins dialogue a lot of her speech patterns were based of Mayas own speech patterns (specifically the sorta frantic ranting we see a lot in s4) which I supposed are influenced by said dyslexia! Just something to mention

I love this!! it’s so cool to see all those traits broken down because I didn’t even notice most of them, probably because I do them too and therefore wouldn’t notice it as being different.
Some characters I believe are neurodivergent are:
    Richie Tozier (IT 2017/2019)
Sodapop Curtis (The Outsiders, the 60s book and 80s movie)
Peter Parker (in all medias tbh, but especially Andrew Garfield, the 2017 show, and Tom Holland)
pretty much every spider person in the spiderverse movies (Gwen and Miles specifically in the new one… I also can’t tell if they’re trans coding Gwen)
Rafe (Middle School The Worst Years Of My Life)
and maybe even JJ from Outer Banks?
there are definitely more but those are some off the top of my head.
I wonder about Lucy from I Love Lucy too?
but yeah! Most of these are characters I see as having something along the lines of adhd but that’s just my take. So, if you wanted some more characters to look at, here are some lol.
