This sounds like any private hospital in South Africa. Your own bathroom, your own bed and TV, menus for your meals, attractive duvets on beds with matching curtains, only close family allowed to visit the maternity ward, security, your own gynae, (not just midwives ) but I'm sure much, much more expensive than South African prices!

I think if this you call suite, then in malaysia it will consider as regular room in private hospital. Malaysia and Singapore private hospital really define a term “hospital hotel” (separate living room, kitchen, maid room, private access etc). Price comparison, Malaysia is more affordable.

That's such an old hospital, and there's nothing luxurious about this birthing suit as shown ! I've seen much bigger, newer birthing suits here in Toronto that are offered to every mother who is giving birth and is totally covered by OHIP !

I went private because my mum had health insurance and the room was much nicer.

Kate doesn't stay long enough after giving birth to enjoy any of the luxuries her private suite affords her. She delivers and is out in a few hours, looking like she spent the entire day at the spa. What's going on here? Issues can come up after a delivery. New mothers should be observed for at least 24hrs. before being released. It's a good precaution to take.

gail curl I think she probably leaves early because the care the hospital would provide her, she would receive that treatment at home , with her special staff 🤷🏽‍♀️

Over priced nonsense. A lot of mums have their baby there merely because Kate has had her baby there. It's quite sad cos st Mary's doesn't look all that different to nhs other than the afternoon tea. It's ridiculous how much people spend on this place. All about status I guess.
