Hey i just bought this for my hk vp9. This is my second gun. My first was a model 94 3030 Winchester rifle. Now to get to my question, what ammo are you using? I like the fiocchi brand but those look pretty cool. Also do they make your gun more dirty than other ammo?
Ball ammo wise for training, I use exclusively 124gr because it's close to the 124+p I carry. But the brands I use the most are the Winchester 124 NATO, IMI 124gr, S&B 124gr, that German MEN 124gr and GECO 124gr. I've heard great things about Fiocchi and any quality brass will do. I don't use steel or aluminum at all ever. 9mm's also as a general rule run dirty. The powder used by most manufacturers run on the gritty side, but nothing too serious. I will say the steel cased stuff runs a sticky coating on the casing and projectile half the time that adds increased effort in the cleaning department. The USP 45 in Tan I have was caked in that crap from a guy running steel cased ammo for competition.....probably at least 10k rounds. When I was doing the match trigger install I had to take a beak to clean it out for about an hour.
Juss got mines in mail🎉😊❤ and I got it on my HKVP9SK compact feels so good and really good ass fucking quality HK is my favorite gun now I traded my glock 19 Gen 3 usa for it since I have a Gen 3 19 Austria had twins but am not regretting the trade
Hey off topic question. In your opinion would it be worth it to trade my p30 v1 for a usp9 fullsize light lem with night sights and 6 mags? The p30 is a great shooter but bothers my sides when I carry. It's been so long since I've shot a fullsize usp9 that it's hard for me to compare the shoot ability
Honestly the USP9 is a fine pistol and a smooth shooter. The P30L is equally as smooth to shoot. You will find that the USP 9 has a better trigger overall, but with the P30 series, everything but the trigger is on point. It's hard to compare the two since I have both. But I will say overall I have more P30's than USP9's. But I do have a USP9 SD so......it's not like I'm P30 all the way. It's also hard to beat that 15 round mag in the P series and VP9 series guns. IT's just so well made.
bro they dont make 24 rd mags if im not mistaken for the hk usp 45 they only have 20 rounders for it (which i bought one for my grndfather ) who absolutely loves it and also iv shot a few full mags out of it and its very reliable so far. also used to own a usp compact 40 and i bought the extended mag from hk parts for that (believe its 17 or sumn) and it functioned flawlessly as well.
I can't say for sure. I think they might, but I don't want to steer you down the wrong path. The feed geometry might be ever so slightly different. IF the VP9 mags work, seat, feed, and lock back, then the 30 rounder will. Which I know seems like an obvious statement, but that would be a cheaper way to test it out before buying the 30 rounder.
I went through hk parts and ordered 2 30 round extensions… I wish I had seen this sooner. Both of my extensions have problems with the spring binding and will only accept about 19-20 before they start to jam and bind. Can’t get 20+ in the mags with extensions on. Wasted my money…
That's unfortunate to hear. Is the alignment right? For mine I have to ensure the rounds are all the way seated to the rear. They have also changed the design since I put this video out. But those extensions are not cheap so I'm pissed off for you.
@@navyman8903 I’ve checked the alignment a couple of times. Unfortunately I bought the extensions to attach to my existing magazines instead of buying the full assembly already completed. For whatever reason the spring binds hard and they are both unreliable. I’ve since taken them off and run stock mags now. No sense in having 3 more rounds with the chance of an issue.
Yes. P30, VP9, usp sk, usp compact all interchangeable magazines. I'm not sure how many more rounds you would get, but the extension should fit your magazine(s).
Got my 2 when I picked up a VP9 from a guy on a local classifieds. Nice thing was it has the 2 mags from the factory, then he bought 2 extra mags, then bought the extensions. So if I didn't want the extensions I have the stock springs and baseplates
That's one of the reasons I recommend this kit. I bought it as a complete mag off a member at HKpro, but the kit allows you to switch it back, and the price to get in the game isn't too bad. The full mags are too expensive for sure.
I honestly had no Idea what those two bro's were doing man. It was constant banter like that, in between 30 round AK pistol mag dumps. It was an annoying day for sure.
Mines a piece if shit...shoot twice and all the bullets fall down to bottom of mag...I think they have me a 15 round spring for a 30 round magazine..junk...ets 30 round is much better
This mag would be great if you decide to integrate this with the "TRIARII Pistol to Carbine Stock System". (www.hera-arms.com/triarii) A great alternative if you don't want to invest in a subgun.
yeah you definitely should. even though I can only compete once to twice a month... I still absolutely LOVE IT! I compete in limited class and can't wait till I am capable enough to start using an optic for open. keep it up man, love your videos

Saw p30 lem starting around $850 and usp starting around 800 on slick guns
