@@jestus4 caleb was a very close friend to the donnelly’s and was also on a youtube channel called bratayley with his sisters jules (annie) and hayley. he passed away from an undetected heart condition when he was 13. he would’ve been 19 now and most likely would be starting his sophomore year of college, so it’s bittersweet that brennan took caleb with him❤️

I love how they are so close. They are very lucky to have each other. My family is not close. I love to watch families that are. It makes me smile. I have been watching since they were friends with Brataley.

Brennan, best wishes for your freshmen year at FSU. Katie did an awesome job organizing your room for you, it shows how much she loves & cares for you. Your mother is right, keep your door open when you're there and not studying, you'll make friends quicker that way. I know you have heard it a lot, but in the words of your father, "Make good choices!" Part of your education is learning to take care of yourself, get yourself up and to classes on time and balance your class, study, social & rest / sleep time.

Mom you need watch some dorm tours this next year especially some of the girls. When Katie goes off to college be ready to spend some money for room decor unless she does go through the academy. Dado don’t look at them no need to put a budget on it. We know you love that girl.

I went to college but I’ve done online classes at home all the time. I use my bedroom as a college dorm. And now I graduated college in 2018 from iTunes University.

I was wondering if Brennan was on Accutane. It changed my life. But it took 12 years and 10 dermatologists later to find one that would put be on it. Not so easy for a woman to get prescribed it. It also put me on an emotional roller coaster half way thru . I’ll never forget that.
I never had severe trouble with acne. Why is it so hard for women to get a prescription for it as opposed to a man?

@@retroguy9494 There's also pretty strong mental health side-effects from what I've heard (I too never had bad acne, so this is just from videos I've seen on it.) People who might have a tendency towards depression can have a major increase in depressive symptoms while on Accutane.

@@rain-wanders Well I am aware of all those side effects because I knew a guy years ago who was on it. But I was more referring to why it is different for a woman versus a man. I'm not a dermatologist but my purely personal opinion is that Brennan's acne isn't that bad; at least not severe enough to warrant such a potent drug with such nasty side effects. From what I know about it (which is very little) its usually prescribed for cases of acne so severe it has the potential to leave permanent scarring of the face.

I forgot to mention in my comment yesterday that I need to confess that I am a Liverpool fan. I saw the video where you guys went to the Man City game and all. Well, many years ago I took a trip to England and saw 5 Premiership games in 10 days with Liverpool being one of them. I got a tour of their stadium and museum. I LOVED it! I want to go back. I didn't see any of the "touristy" things in England. I was with the fans behind the goal going nuts. Being with the people and sharing their excitement of the sport was the best!! :)

Brennan I hope you realised that as a college student you don't have to do laundry. Just keep all the dirty clothes for a holiday week end and take it home for mom to do. It's a rule; Look it up in the student manual. Have fun Keep Smiling :)
The first "holiday weekend" would be Thanksgiving. That's 2 1/2 months away. Do you REALLY think Brennan has like 75 pair of underwear and socks to last him that long? Although we're talking about a guy who brought like TEN bathing suits to college so it really wouldn't surprise me! LOL

I have a question. Are you allowed to have a Dorm room to yourself or is it mandatory to have a roommate. I'm just curious. I know it's obvious that most would rather have a roomate,but, i was wondering if an individual can have a dorm alone?
@@thunderstrikes4631 yes they can. There are single dorms at colleges. They are usually more expensive though.

@@thunderstrikes4631 I really think it depends on the college/university. At my old university freshmen were required to have roommates. Once you got to be an upper classman, you could choose single dorms, off campus apartments owned by the university or an on campus "suite" where you basically had your own room to sleep but shared a living area and bathroom with one or two other guys. All colleges are different bases on size and price.

@@retroguy9494 no but some dorms like where I went to school everyone on one floor has to share a bathroom with stalls for toilets and snowers rather than having a private one for each dorm room, and we werent allowed to have a microwave either lol
@@sobored126 Yes in my old university the freshman dorms had those communal bathrooms on each floor as well. And as I recall, microwaves weren't allowed either but that was a VERY long time ago. I think allowing refrigerators and and microwaves is much more commonplace now.

The campus he is going to is 3 miles away . It's walking distance. He may have decided not to have a car to save money or something or the car is coming later.

@@retroguy9494 I gave a possibility as to why his car isn't with him. Perhaps he's trying to save money by not having a car. He might walk or maybe the campus has other transportation. In the end I don't know why he doesn't have the car with him. I gave a possibility.

That's a random accusation to jump to ask if they paid someone off ? The answer is . he's going to Community College classes first at TCC, Which is 2.5 to 3 miles away from the main FSU campus. His Dorm room is at FSU and if he gets the credits needed at TCC which he more than should he'll go FSU in the Spring of 2022
@@thunderstrikes4631 So he doesn't attend classes at the college but is allowed to live there? Weird. I thought he was a good student, why community college first? I'm not knocking it. I saved a ton of money doing community college my first two years.
@@anonymouse0221 Yes he's allowed to live at FSU ,because, the Community College he goes to (TCC) is part of and sponsored by FSU. Brennan made the Honor Roll his entire time at High School. Brennan is a good student. I think a number of students choose to go to a Community College first and then transfer

Brennan and Jill. Remember that all the students from the Middle-East (Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Egypt) have paid for their housing in-advance for four years, including a Mercedes or Lexus. The students from the East (Japan and China) also arrive fully loaded. After all these years on TH-cam, why are you in a shoe-box dorm room (7:34)? And where's your BMW? When you attend the college parties, you will see what I mean.
I don't see any of you attending Mass often. I'm Catholic, and I attend St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on the University of Arkansas Campus and trying to get active with the Catholic Hogs. I would suggest that Brennan get involved with the Catholic Student Ministry on FSU's campus and the K of C rather than a Fraternity. A member of SAE on Arkansas's campus drank himself to death! This has happened on other college campuses, most notably LSU and Penn State within the past five years. I'd be cautious if I were him!
If you look behind President Reagan, Brennan has a "Spiritual Ammo" box.
How do YOU know how often they attend Mass? Its not like they vlog in the church! I can picture Mike going to like 7 AM Mass on Sunday and the kids hitting up 5:30 Mass on Saturday night.
And as a Catholic myself, I disagree with your advice. I think Brennan SHOULD join a fraternity. He would fit right in!! Mine has a chapter at FSU. And do you REALLY think Brennan is the kind of guy, given the way he was raised, would drink himself to death? I'm sure he's going to get wasted, but not to excess.
I was both in a fraternity AND went to Mass! Nothing wrong with doing both. And a Catholic student organization would be fine (gee ARE there any in the heart of 'evangelical' land) but he's a bit young yet for the K of C. I can't see him hanging with a group of 40 t0 70 year old men.

Brennan and Jill. You are not going to like living in the dorm. The room is too small, lacks privacy and is difficult to study. In fact, most students move-out after the (mandatory) year. Find a quite spot in the library to do your homework. Meanwhile, start searching for an upscale apartment or on-campus housing. That's were you find all the rich kids.
Seriously, what's your obsession with richness? If you can't tell from their home, while the Donnelly's do alright for themselves, they don't overspend. They have a smallish house for a family their size, average cars, and definitely make wise financial decisions. I can see Brennan being the same way, working hard for his $ but not needing an "upscale apartment" while in college. A shared house with some roommates with reasonably priced rates will be much more likely and a wiser decision as well.
@@rain-wanders The Donnelly's MD home is a 1/2 million dollar property. They also have the Florida condo. In other words, why is Brennan in that tiny semi-private room? A hospital room is larger than that. And at least they get Ginger Ale with a bent straw. My point is that most college students, from affluent parents, live comfortably. Brennan's room is so small, you can flush the toilet from the front door. 😆😅😂

I get what you're saying. The only thing is Brennan doesn't seem like the type who would do a very good job organizing the room LOL. I'm not saying he's dirty I'm just saying that organizing the room wouldn't be his strong area. I think Brennan would agree with that.
