This guy should officially just join their PR team , pretty much three quarters of his content is softball " interviews " infomercials of medtech executives..where they get to peddle whatever they have to sell without the hint of a pushback or a consumer advocacy inspired question

No you don't understand or you would have had supply AT LAUNCH. I've used Medtronic for 30 years and you've launched nothing right. Those are the facts. The product is no doubt better than your competitors but you are horrid at launch and implementation and that is why you are #3 in reach.

Omg I agree with you 100%.
Been using Medtronic pump and CGM for over 20 years and they are so behind the times it’s ridiculous. I’m so tired of waiting for the Simplera !
I’m thinking of switching to another pump!

It is hard to take her seriously when she mentions the software experience, yet my 780G won't keep a Bluetooth connection to my phone (Pixel 8 P) or my previous Motorola. I have a $10 set of Bluetooth headphones that has never disconnected. The Guardian sensors are hostile to use and reliability is noticeably waning as of late. I am a believer in their system, but if my insurance was due for a new Insulin Pump today I'd move on. Luckily for Medtronic (and hopefully me too) in 2 years when it is due I will at least be using the Abbot CGM. Fingers crossed. Thanks Nerdabetic for the video you're my 1st source for the latest developments!

It seems that we will not get anything soon.

Thks for interview with Medtronic. Wow lots of negativity about Medtronic out there, yet many continue to use. Maybe they don't have another choice? I left Medtronic years ago and won't look back. At that time CGM, pump just lacking way 2 much compared to competitors and appear to continue that way. I would not consider them now, They are always 2 steps behind competitors. Having said all of this again thanks for interview. You were just providing us information about what they are up 2 and i for one think u did ok interviewing her. She had nothing of value to offer us unfortunately.

You people are talking so stupid if the fda has approved this system then why the delay?
You’re not being honest with your patients . Stop making excuses!!!!!when I spoke with their reps they said they are only waiting to be trained on this system. They insult our intelligence daily….

Blahblahblah. Tired of getting hopes up. Don’t bother with interviews unless it’s ready to use. Would love to try simplera someday, but I’m 77 years old.

Please set up a team of people who know what they are doing to fix all the bluetooth connectivity issues and stop overcomplicating this bluetooth connection by only supporting a handful of phones (mostly iPhones but outside the US the android market is a lot bigger) and limit the os versions running on them. It’s just a bt connection that is allowing some values to be transmitted from the pump to your phone. It’s not rocket science.
Ps. We are looking forward to the new sensor because the guardian sensor was so outdated compared to the libre3 that we stopped with the closed loop over a year ago hoping for an alternative in the near future .

They should provide different options for reservoirs. Should make a version of glass reservoirs for people who want to avoid micro plastics going into the body with the insulin.
