I agree. Unfortunately, this is the world we live in. Racism is still very much present and history always repeats itself. Cops and governments can’t do anything about it because they are just as bad, therefore we as citizens need to take a stand. Again, I am in no way in support of violence. Bought a house in the ghetto cause she was kicked out of the other neighborhood for being a karen. And she complains about kids lady be glad it was music and not gun shots.
She started out pretty good, bringing the entire neighborhood over to the Karen's front door. She could that going every night till the kids got an apology. But then she had to relinquish the moral ground by accusing the lady of racism, hopping onto her property, and assaulting her. How does Fiona getting herself locked up (again) help Liam?
For everyone defending the racist neighbor, saying that the kids shouldn't have set up in front of her house, the cop told the kids to move but that wasn't good enough for her. She wanted them shut down.
The moment she said “can you get away from my fence” was the moment Fiona chose violence. She went there for an apology and settled with a Karen’s broken nose

I grew up doing lemonade stands, car washes even school related fundraisers would be out on weekends and I grew up in a middle class neighborhood and yeah Fiona’s right no one ever once had a problem with it parents would even bring snacks out sometimes lol before 2001 the world seemed simpler and a lot more fun and people didn’t gripe and complain about every little thing 💯
My big brother is Blonde, Me an My sister are latin and My little brother is black and Even though we are in our 30's and 40's now, we still die for each other!❤❤. Love this episode

Had lemonade stand a few times as a youngster. Police officer pulled up on motorcycle&asked if I had any whiskey. I said no, but law enforcement gets beverages at no charge.
Actually the only thing that lady did wrong is say “shut this ‘sh/t’ down” to those kids after the cop gave them a $20 and left. (They didn’t seem to be disrespectful to her and it seemed they WERE about to leave . She didn’t actually saying anything about not wanting them to sell in front of her house fir specifically racial reasons , and they were on her property, actually. The other woman just had some personal conflict stuff going on because she was mixed race.
And if I recall, they mentioned later that the Karen spoke such racist speech later that they had to convince her not to file a complaint because all she was gonna get is to end up in jail herself

While what they did was wrong, and they were disturbing the peace, Karen deserved it for having the kids shut down instead of just being happy with them moving down the street. If some kids are blocking your driveway, or being too loud for your liking, you ask them to move. @@brin2153 I would say it is with regards to the general principles involved. Does she own the sidewalk? Of course not, nobody does anywhere whether it’s a house or a condo or a business or whatever. But when you set up somewhere, you expect that your little stretch of sidewalk, as a part of your view out on to the street, might be left unobstructed. That’s why you usually see lemonade stands in front of the houses of the kids’s parents, not some other random person. It’s just a bit intrusive and disrespectful.
I mean I wouldnt want kids on my boulevard hollering out things all afternoon when after I get home from work either. Unless youve had or have kids you dont really realize just how loud they are till they're gone. I have a whole mess of Somali kids that live across th street and two door down and they are out there screaming and crying and yelling all day long. Its never occurred to me to holler at them for being kids at play. But there definitely is a quality of life issue here that is being diminished by the lemonade stand childrens pressance outside her home. With that being said it could have been handled better by the property owner.
@@MG-xw9qc out of all the homes on our street the only one to have the police called to it numerous times is the Somali home... the rest of the block is civil and polite and neighborly. There are 5 other families on th street that have well behaved children that play outside and aren't causing mayhem. It's not a dislike of children at play issue as much as it is about poor parenting of one particular home on the street that happens to be a Somali family. The fact they are the only Somali family makes them the Somali family when we discuss them amongst ourselves. They're kids are nearly feral for gods sake. I broke up a brawl out in their front lawn last Summer. My home is nearly paid for, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.
The problem is that the lady could of handled it a bit better. Technically she was right in that they shouldn't be in front of her house, but getting the police involved is probably a step too far.
She had multiple times to try to defend herself or deny it but she didn't. She lied to the police about them getting water on her car while her car is in the driveway behind a gate and them making to much noise too they were playing music on their phones no speaker or nothing. She had a problem with them being black that's it if it was about the lemonade stand she could've asked them to move and that would've been that but her frist responded was to call the cops on children that messed up

To be fair, if they want to sell lemonade, they can do it outside their own house. The houseowner, racist or not, is following the law by the book, and exercising her legal rights, whereas all of them are harassing her just because they want her to follow their own unspoken rules rather than the law. The cop knows it, the neighborhood knows it, and so does the new homeowner. The entire neighborhood is wrong here.

@katana2seppuku The police could of just had the kids move a bit and told the Karen to leave the matter alone. At any rate, that's not an excuse to straight up assault someone.
While what they did was wrong, and they were disturbing the peace, Karen deserved it for having the kids shut down instead of just being happy with them moving down the street. I get her irritation that they were blocking her driveway, but that didn't require a call to the police. If she wasn't such a nasty, racist hag she could have asked them to move herself, but she was too scared her property value would plummet if she was kind to POC.
Do not justify assaulting someone just because they annoyed you. That kind of mentality could get someone killed if the Karen in question had a weapon. They could easily justify killing someone by saying they (people) were attacking and that they (Karen) was acting in self defense.
@TimberlakeTigerGirl I wouldn't justify it by saying Fiona didn't deserve to get arrested, or that assault charges shouldn't get filed. I'm just saying that the Karen deserved what she got too.
I agree that 2 wrongs don't make a right, and an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. I just also believe that sometimes a bully stays a bully until someone shows them what it feels like. @sonjoshku6668 you don't have to say racist words to be a racist, you just have to think people with a different skin tone than yours shouldn't be allowed to sell freaking lemonade in front of your home. If some kids are blocking your driveway, or being too loud for your liking, you ask them to move. Calling the cops to have them shut down is a move only pulled by nasty old people and racists who think black kids trying to earn money are a threat to their property values.

Except it was a public city owned sidewalk they were on not her front porch. Whether she likes it or not she has no right to be upset or dictate whether not they can be there. I don’t care how long of a day you had. You don’t get to dictate what others do on public property. Also it’s a lemonade stand. Nothing about it warrants being angry. I mean I get home from work around the time kids in my neighborhood come home from school and ride bikes on the street in front of my house squealing and playing. Doesn’t bother me none cause they aren’t doing anything bad. Getting upset about kids doing kid stuff on public property that isn’t hurting anyone is the definition of a miserable Karen.

@@brin2153 I would say it is with regards to the general principles involved. Does she own the sidewalk? Of course not, nobody does anywhere whether it’s a house or a condo or a business or whatever. But when you set up somewhere, you expect that your little stretch of sidewalk, as a part of your view out on to the street, might be left unobstructed. That’s why you usually see lemonade stands in front of the houses of the kids’s parents, not some other random person. It’s just a bit intrusive and disrespectful.

I mean I wouldnt want kids on my boulevard hollering out things all afternoon when after I get home from work either. Unless youve had or have kids you dont really realize just how loud they are till they're gone. I have a whole mess of Somali kids that live across th street and two door down and they are out there screaming and crying and yelling all day long. Its never occurred to me to holler at them for being kids at play. But there definitely is a quality of life issue here that is being diminished by the lemonade stand childrens pressance outside her home. With that being said it could have been handled better by the property owner.

@@MG-xw9qc out of all the homes on our street the only one to have the police called to it numerous times is the Somali home... the rest of the block is civil and polite and neighborly. There are 5 other families on th street that have well behaved children that play outside and aren't causing mayhem. It's not a dislike of children at play issue as much as it is about poor parenting of one particular home on the street that happens to be a Somali family. The fact they are the only Somali family makes them the Somali family when we discuss them amongst ourselves. They're kids are nearly feral for gods sake. I broke up a brawl out in their front lawn last Summer.
My home is nearly paid for, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.
