What i don't understand about this war is the strategy adopted by Russia, why storm the Donbass region instead of flanking it with some big operation in Kharkiv? Both the soviets and the germans back in ww2 decided to flank it because they understood it was a giant fortress, kinda the same logic as going around the Maginot line in France.
there is FAR less troops on both sides then in some WW2 operations. Also with intelligence being 1000x more efficient you will have a really hard time actually gathering large amount of troops.
@@atarkus8 I think proportion matters more than the actual amount of troops, ww1 for example had lot more soldiers but they got stuck in trench warfare, in the initial months of the war the russians took a lot of territory with just 150k soldiers.
Any large concentration of the forces will be targeted by MLRS strike with cluster munnitions or imminent airstrike, which will cause significant cassulties for large assault formations. Forget about WW2 war style tactics. Russians are using long range drones to scan ground for military targets far away from frontline, same assets are deployed by Ukrainian side. Vuhledar* why do so many people spell it wrong 😂
I think it will be choked and encircled until abandoned as predicted, even though weaker, it's strength as a defensive position means it will still be a very difficult and expensive fight and fat preferable to get them to abandon the positions.
I've not heard anyone claim it's already been abandoned. You wouldn't leave only snipers to fight to the last given they are valuable trained men, worth more than normal infantry.
@@HerrSpoons you could not have starved Mariupol without starving tens of thousands of your people. However, Ugledar is by now destroyed and anyone still there dead man walking. If they have left any trigger happy commando units behind to cause trouble, those do not need an asphalt road when it is time to leave.

Unless you are saved and the Rapture happens! Then most of those left behind will die in the Tribulation!
Too much evil in this world now and too many timelines in the Bible pointing to Christ’s Second Coming as King (Messiah Ben David) 2000 years after His First Coming.
Be prepared!
What's that?

The weather will be good for another week but after that the rains will stop all the movements till the frost.
Not sure of that, movement in the fields ans dirt/gravel road will stop but probably not on main paved roads.
I'm here to watch the Bot War in the comments.😉

Cant believe the small gains by Russia in this terrible beginning of WW3
Weeb I was waiting. why post so late 😢
The more troops and further north Ukraine goes into Kursk with their poor supply lines and being surrounded in Russia, the more the will lose and the faster they will lose them!
Good luck Ukraine!
A PR “victory” = a probable Russian trap! 😮
it's fun looking at the comments on these kinds of videos because the commenters are either violently pro-russian or violently pro-ukrainian, and most of the time they aren't even from russia or ukraine. people will really be at each other's throats because they're overzealous for a country they have no relation to. it's kinda sad honestly.
What happens there is very much related with our life and future. Here in Europe we suffer from woke insanity, cultural suicide and myriads other things forced to us by the global bully. We are tired. We see Russia as a hope to stop this tyranny...
Russian bots. And as for pro ukranian. I haven't seen a single pro ukranian comment in I don't even know.
@@pordilos it really depends on where you look, but i'm sure you'd find some if you looked in the replies of some comments
@@pordilosYet your here BOT 😂
I actually find the comments in here to be kinda mellow compared to some other reporters. Some comment sections are toxic as hell.
I'm confused as how Russia keeps retreating forward.
Donetsk region fall on Russian Hand
What i don't understand about this war is the strategy adopted by Russia, why storm the Donbass region instead of flanking it with some big operation in Kharkiv? Both the soviets and the germans back in ww2 decided to flank it because they understood it was a giant fortress, kinda the same logic as going around the Maginot line in France.
Ukrainians are quick to withdraw whenever they're close to be encircled and Russians allow it since it means less casualties for them as well
Because this is not WWII and there aren't hundreds of thousands of troops available for such an operation.
there is FAR less troops on both sides then in some WW2 operations.
Both sides trying to minimise casualties and the assaults are made with small troop battalions supported by few vehicles.
UKREN!!! RUSHIA!!!!!
They now saying on X that its russian cripples fighting at the front
Snap!
At current pace how long until Russia get’s to the dnipro river?
depends on when will they capture and secure pokrovsk, and other strategic towns, and what are their priorities.
an estimate would be around 2-3 years
@@hothdog it's so weird I've heard people say 1.5 years estimate and then I hear people saying much quicker once they get pokeovsk. This thing needs to end
The goal seems to be demilitarization more than gaining territory.
At the current rate, Ukraine will run out of military age males by 2026.
At current pace, how long before Ukraine runs out of men?
@@BillMartin-h2g Hard to know, but the fact they are beginning to let go of areas without a fight suggests it’s near.
Noooo
Diverting viewers to kursk when ukrainian defenses have collapsed
I wonder if Ukraine has begun to slowly abandon the 4 oblasts they know Russia intends to claim and is going all-in on Kursk to get a bargaining chip.
I think Ukraine knows they're not going to win, so they're trying to get leverage to make the best peace possible.
Russia will not retreat!!!!!

Ukraine will win
OK
Just remember to take your prescriptions.
The only place they recently removed their soldiers back was Selidove because the Ukrainian army sent one of good trained brigades that specialized at urban and forest fighting and in my it was a logistics problem after a quick Pokrovsk advance
Wanna talk about pokrosvk? Vuheldar, pischane, chasiv yar, or anything on the eastern front?
Oh this is rage bait, just 14 days ago you commented “Russia will win” no point arguing with you

Right? Now the Russians have to liberate Ukraine from those Nazi usurpers who stole it.
Thank God Russia is here to liberate Ukraine from the Nazis who stole it from the people.
Remember your video more than a week ago claiming pokrovsk was going to fall in days? 😂🤡
@@InAVanByTheRivr You are the clown. He is giving an opinion on current situations. But the russians changed their tactic to start fighting in the south
@@theworldmustknow9510Ukraine sent reinforcements to Pokrovsk so Russia switched focus to the next weak points. They've been doing that for a long time.

I notice nothing is moving in south.odessa?
I think Russia wants to get some of these historically Russian cities with a minimum of destruction. Just guessing.
Even if the Russians do want Odesa, they need to make other moves before going for it - and they 're going to make them. Notice how they always advance to the positions they actually need for going on afterwards.
