I will be honest I took the express up the hill, because the queue for the normal one was absolutely massive, (your's was much shorter, mine was a mass of school kids on trips), you missed a few things at the top. But time is short. I was going to the snake temple but I read so many bad reviews I never bothered. There used to be an enclosure at Melaka Zoo full of those snakes which you could walk through, many, many more snakes than that. They are venomous, but very chill snakes and also rear fanged so they would literally have to chew on you to get the poison in, but still coming from the UK it is a cool thing to see.
Do visit balik pulau and if possible, enter the church. The gates should be open between 9 to 5 on weekdays and you can ask the office to help open the doors
I loved the snake temple Stu,but the cynic in me thought that the fangs of the vipers must have been removed,as incense does not stop a venomous snake biting you
@@richardwarran they are mangrove snakes, rear fanged and very calm, also their venom is not deadly to humans. They would literally have to chew on you to inject venom
Please refrain from entering Hokkien temples from the middle doors next time. It is reserved for the gods. Enter through the right and exit through the left.

Snake Temple and Penang Hill. Certainly worth looking at. Great looking at the snakes even though we've got lot of them in Australia.
Aussie snakes can kill!! Lol
Nice one Stu, definetly not one for me the snake temple, maybe just one but not a bunch of them come at me together lol.
They were all asleep! That’s what I told myself lol

When I was a kid, the area around the snake temple had no factories. It was a jungle area.

Do they ask international driver license or just driver license from your own country? And how much the rent cost for a scooter?
They just asked for normal driving licence. To see if you can ride a bike! It was only about 49 ringgit!

Perfect life lol 😂😂
I hope those snakes are paying rent !
