thank you for such an interesting video!! just sharing personal opinion here, but;; I geunienly prefer profiles that don't have CSS. I was so glad when they added the ability to hide CSS theme because... while most CSS profiles are very beatuiful, for me personally they're very hard to navigate, especially when the whole UI changes, even what's on top :( and most of the time everything is so moveable, it makes things even harder for me and I can't focus on anything. It's just so much and I would prefer something calmer, but they're cool looking i also wish people stopped putting a lot of flashing stuff in their profiles. while I don't have epilepsy it's just very uncomfortable to get on a profile and get splashed with millions of colors per second. which also usually happens with CSS users. it's just hard for me personally and makes it very difficult for me ,,,
Hey these are all understandable! It’s definitely great having the option to turn it off when it comes to people experiencing a profile with CSS. It’s basically just that baseline sentiment that yes a profile is someone’s own to customize as they like, but it doesn’t mean it’s going to click with people- especially when it comes to visual aspects that make It difficult to use. So, for those interested in good design as well, it’s making considerations like the experience of being in a page, though there’s a halfway point of course in the sense that yeah, people are gonna have preferences either way ✅

Banners is such a good idea ngl! Definetly gonna invest some time into drawing some graphics for next year 👀 Thank you for the video! I definetly got some inspiration and ideas by watching it
Ooo for my profile I made it 3900 x 2682px !! Although you can always change it to your liking (reason for the size is due to loading time!!) Also the size of your profile description can change depending on the device's screen :]]
I remember doing an excercise on infographics in school. And it was Soooo hard. To take so much information and make it easy to digest, have it fit perfectly and then also create nice graphic art for it, and the formatting? Dang those people are on a different level. But anyways I don't have 25 dollars to spend. So Imma just add a banner maybe and my team card😂. And if you can't have banners in free mode. Then one card will suffice. Less work for me since no one will stay long enough to look into my profile and attack me 😅
*pat pat* yeah adding images to your profile is free! The main thing to be aware of is where you’re hosting the link from- a lot of people have been having trouble with Discord for example since it no longer supports being an image hosting platform I hope you have a good time with art fight this year! Gotta keep it fun for yourself 🩵🩵
AF site itself is already slow for using hamsters to run their servers, so honestly I prefer people who decided to use smaller graphics on their profile so I can check their stuff faster :'))
This is definitely needed, It´s my first year and I made an account like a few hours before it started with no preparations. I have not written a single thing on my profile yet so It´s nice with some guidelines and inspirations lol. Btw I adore your Persona/V-tuber, the design and colors are really nice
