- Having the original Algolaser Alpha, I just had to test out the new and improved machine. This thing is fast,,,,,
For templates that I have made, check out my Etsy shop. I build files for projects and tools for laser engravers as well as CNC project files.

That looks like a pretty slick unit. Thanks for the detailed info. 👍🏻
It’s not a bad machine…. Thanks
A review with realtime testing and down to earth perspectives is hard to find these days but this has convinced me to jump in on the mk2 and to subscribe
Thanks, I just pass on my findings to help folks decide. There are lots of machines out there, just have to decide which one is for you. Glad you like the content.
Excellent review. Sounds like a great beginner laser at a decent price.
For a 400x400 work area, it’s really good for any level.
Good evening Clack. If you set a budget of $1,200 and under which laser would you choose and why? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the awesome videos!
Budget is only half of the equation, what are you wanting to do with it. Each machine has different characteristics.
I like my Algo Alpha 22w better.
They took off indicator lights off laser module and front , the magnetic cover is better on mine.
Like having it off for framing. Like you Clack I have an enclosure so don’t need cover.
This one will likely get some modifications
Hi sir! I wonder if you could help me. Just bought the same machine. When I try to place an object beyond the 400mm(y-axis) I get an error: "G-code motion target exceeds machine travel. Although i've set the correct work area size of 400x410. Thanks!
I'm worried that the jig kit I purchased from your etsy shop wouldn't work properly if I have this issue.
I remember something about having to set mine to 400x400, there was something that I found after having it for a while. It still works great just a bit smaller. I think the controller may just be set incorrectly. You can change those settings in lightburn under machine settings.
Where on Etsy did you purchase the deer and flag?

Be nice if it was enclosed.
They sell an enclosure for it.
@@TheClackShack can it be run at show without a enclosed. I am new to that type of laser. Will it cut on metal? Thanks
@@curtisstiggins2767 no, needs to be enclosed and no, not metal
