7/15 for me this time. A very enjoyable selection of works: when I saw the list I wondered which Mahler symphony you would choose! I prefer the 2nd to the 8th, myself.👍👍👍
I very much doubt that you were hit and miss at guessing, because this was your selection)) I just wrote you an email, but you beat me to it with a comment. Always open to new ideas, thanks for your help!
14/15, I think the best I ever got on your advanced level quizzes :). Got fooled by Shostakovich as the 2nd is so little played. But most I guessed within the context - I actively knew about 5 or so. But a nice idea (especially for a singer like me)!
I got 12! And I only actually knew three of the pieces. I correctly guessed the composers on the others. (Scriabin, Shostakovich and Penderecki tripped me up.)
9/15. That was fun, and it was nice to give the choral forces a workout. I must admit that on one of the pieces, I sang, well croaked, along with the choir.
7/15. Apart from Q3, the first 7 questions I thought it's one of two composers...and kept choosing incorrectly! I didn't even recognise my beloved Scriabin. Always wonderful to hear Mahler #2
10/15, I didn't remember that Shosta's second had choirs too. And Scriabin, oh my Scriabin, this finale is just glorious, it should feature in movies, when the hero has achieved his/her goal and there's a whole crowd of mystical beings celebrating this.
But Sibelius didn’t seem difficult to me because it’s full of spoilers)) Although sometimes we have to really strain ears to hear what exactly they’re singing.
Great quiz! I got more than I thought I would 13/15.
Seven Gates of Jerusalem is so underrated, the beginning is like the most epic thing ever written rivaling Mahler's finales
Mahler's finales are incomparable))

Only 8 here! BRUTAL! (but BEAUTIFUL!)
Berlioz like "I wonder if this needs more cymbal strikes."
10/15
11/15 - Fun selection of pieces.
I was hit and miss at guessing as usual, but these were fabulous pieces, Dmitrii!

9/15, but the list helped a lot, I actually knew only the Beethoven, the Liszt and the Stravinsky.

I think it's a great feeling to guess right and a lot when you're not entirely sure))

Very nice theme and some lovely music. 9/15. Thanks.
Thank you. By the way, the theme was suggested by the viewer of the channel, I was responsible for the technical work on creating the video))

Tough quiz for me! Only 6!
4/15. I should have been able to guess more of them. I'm not a big fan of vocals in classical music, that's one reason I didn't do well.

12/15, I missed the Dante and Ives 4 somehow, but I didn't expect myself to get the Shostakovich so I'm fine losing that point
Difficult, I online know Beethovens 9. Sinfonie
9/15. I got the Sibelius wrong which was surprising because I thought I knew Sibelius well.

6/15. Pretty putrid. There were 3 others I should have known.
