  • Free crochet patter for Jar Cover.
Outdoor living is all about lighting for me - twinkling fairy lights make everything cosy! This jar cover diffuses bright lights, helping them glow through your re-used jam jars.
    Materials:
10g (50m) each in 4 different shades of DK acrylic yarn will cover 2 jam jars.
4mm (Size G-6) Crochet hook, Scissors, Jam Jar (my small jar measures 10cm tall with 23.5cm circumference), battery operated candles or fairy lights.
    **DO NOT USE REAL CANDLES**

These crochet sleeves look great on the jars with the candle in it, that is beautiful, I also have a channel where I paint glass jars and I am looking for similar content to follow so I subbed, I am The Jam Jar Junkie ❤

I have a massive jar (over 20 inch circumference)... any advice on how to adjust for a much bigger jar? No one seems to be doing this in their tutorials lol.

Continue to increase the base until it fits and ensure the final row count is divisible by 3 and the pattern will work as the tutorial.
If you’re not familiar on how to keep increasing, you can read more about the “rules” here www.cosyrosieuk.co.uk/increasing-crochet-in-the-round
Let me know how you get on making your supersized jar cosy 😊
