Con la sua titanica voce da lirico spinto, riesce a cantare quest'aria con delicata morbidezza. Del resto da lui ci si può aspettare di tutto, nulla lo può fermare con la sua tecnica di emissione, cantava tutto con vigore, estrema facilità era un divertimento ascoltarlo in Arena di Verona era sempre al top!!!! nei ruoli più disparati. Fenomeno vocale!!!! Tra i più grandi di sempre.

I have been listening opera voices, tenors for more than 35 years. Non of the well known tenors had ever these amazing, easily -sound, rich high notes and of corse he was a great and very strong musician and performer. Im just getting to explore him more and more. I love with him the Bizet ‘Je crois entendre encore’ the most. I highly appreciate how flexibly he has let to flow the voice across his larynx, more than anyone. He had an incredible strong body, big head and very very good technic and big heart for the music and art. Im so sorry to miss to hear him in live! Great man, rest in peace. ( heart )
Oh. My God!!!Oh Dios mio!!!Que ejecución tan sublime en cuanto a expresividad, dicción y elegancia de canto. Este tenor realmente fué uno de los mejores de la segunda mitad del s. xx.Mejor que al menos dos de los Tres Tenores, Domingo y Carreras.

Gli riusciva cantare di tutto e sempre al top..... peccato non gli sia stato riconosciuto il suo grande valore artistico, per voce, presenza scenica, con un repertorio vastissimo,nulla lo fermava.... Molto superiore ai tre del circolo mediatico. Tutta un'altra storia senza offesa per nessuno....... 🌹Beautiful. Rip

His Otello was a disaster though, since his acting consisted of prancing around with a cape and his muddy middle voice didn't project much. A real dramatic tenor is big in the middle as well as the top. MDM had all of that and sometimes the power could be frightening!!

Franco Bonisolli sings almost perfectly in French. I appreciate that your poor arguments come at the end of the comments after so many enthusiastic appreciations from everyone else.
